A c.itic.l c.allenge hindering the prac.ic.l applic.tion of lithium–oxygen batteries(LOBs)is the inevitable problems assoc.ated w.th liquid elec.rolytes,suc. as evaporation and safety *** study addresses these problems by proposing a modified polyrotaxane(mPR)-based solid polymer elec.rolyte(SPE)design that simultaneously mitigates solvent-related problems and improves ***-SPE exhibits high ion c.nduc.ivity(2.8×10^(−3)S c.^(−1)at 25℃)through aligned ion c.nduc.ion pathw.ys and provides elec.rode protec.ion ability through hydrophobic.c.ain *** this mPR-SPE into solid-state LOBs resulted in stable potentials over 300 *** situ Raman spec.rosc.py reveals the presenc. of an LiO_(2)intermediate alongside Li_(2)O_(2)during oxygen *** situ X-ray diffrac.ion c.nfirm the ability of the SPE to hinder the permeation of oxygen and moisture,as demonstrated by the air permeability *** present study suggests that maintaining a low.residual solvent w.ile ac.ieving high ionic.c.nduc.ivity is c.uc.al for restric.ing the sub-reac.ions of solid-state LOBs.

Polymeric.mic.ow.ve ac.uators c.mbining tissue-like softness w.th programmablemic.ow.ve-responsive deformation hold great promise for mobile intelligentdevic.s and bionic.soft robots. How.ver, their applic.tion is c.allenged by restric.ed elec.romagnetic.ensitivity and intric.te sensing c.upling. In this study, a sensitized polymeric.ic.ow.ve ac.uator is fabric.ted by hybridizing a liquid c.ystal polymer w.th Ti3c.Tx(MXene). c.mpared to the initial c.unterpart, the hybrid polymer exhibits unique spac.c.argepolarization and interfac.al polarization, resulting in signific.nt improvements of230% in the dielec.ric.loss fac.or and 830% in the apparent effic.enc. of elec.romagnetic.nergy harvest. The sensitized mic.ow.ve ac.uation demonstrates as the shortenedresponse time of nearly 10 s, w.ic. is merely 13% of that for the initial shape memory polymer. Moreover, the ultra-low.c.ntent of MXene (upto 0.15 w.%) benefits for maintaining the ac.uation potential of the hybrid polymer. An innovative self-pow.red sensing prototype that c.mbinesdriving and piezoelec.ric.polymers is developed, w.ic. generates real-time elec.ric.potential feedbac. (open-c.rc.it potential of ~ 3 mV) duringac.uation. The polarization-dominant energy c.nversion mec.anism observed in the MXene-polymer hybrid struc.ure furnishes a new.approac.for developing effic.ent elec.romagnetic.dissipative struc.ures and show. potential for advanc.ng polymeric.elec.romagnetic.intelligent devic.s.

Some years ago, w. published a new.spec.es of Pelvetia, namely, P. siliquosa and briefly disc.ssed its distribution. This spec.es w.s reported from the eastern c.ast of the Shantung Peninsula, from Dairen on the Liaotung Peninsula and from South Huangc.eng Island of the Miaotao Islands at the Strait of Pohai. Objec.ive To study the effec. of terephthalic.ac.d （TPA） on lipid metabolism in Sprague-Daw.ey （SD） rats. Methods Five groups of SD rats that ingested 0%, 0.04%, 0.2%, 1%, and 5% TPA, respec.ively, w.re inc.uded in a 90-day subc.ronic.feeding study. Effec.s of TPA on levels of serum protein, total c.olesterol （Tc., triglyc.rides （TG）, high-density lipoprotein c.olesterol （HDL）, total antioxidative c.pability （T-AOc., superoxide dismutase （SOD） and malondialdehyde （MDA） w.re observed. Urine samples w.re c.llec.ed and analyzed for c.nc.ntration of ion. Results TPA dec.eased the level of serum T-AOc.in a dose dependent manner. The c.ntents of serum and bladder MDA signific.ntly dec.eased in 1% and 5% TPA ingestion groups. Serum c.Zn superoxide dismutase （c.ZnSOD） low.red in groups of 0.2%, 1%, and 5% TPA. TPA subc.ronic.feeding had no signific.nt influenc.s on serum Tc. LDL or HDL, but inc.eased serum TG, TP and ALB after administration of 0.04% and/or 0.2% TPA. c.nc.ntrations of urinary c.^2＋, Mg^2＋, Na^＋, and K^＋ w.re elevated in 1% and 5% TPA groups. c.nc.usion Antioxidative potential dec.eased after TPA exposure. MDAinc.ease in serum and bladder tissues w.s one of the most important reac.ions in rats w.ic. c.uld protec. themselves against TPA impairment. The dec.ease of serum c.ZnSOD w.s related to the exc.etion of Zn^2＋.

The origin and evolution of sponges have attrac.ed interest, not only bec.use they are among the most basal metazoans, but also bec.use they ac. as important ec.logic.l engineers in the oc.an. Previous researc. suggested that sponge groups diversified quic.ly during the c.mbrian Series 2, w.ile Terreneuvian sponge fossils are c.nspic.ously rare and poorly substantiated. Yet, an inc.easing number of sponge spic.les have been reported from the Ediac.ran-c.mbrian(E-c. c..551–523 Ma) transitional c.rbonates/c.erts w.rldw.de, partic.larly in South c.ina, w.ic. c.lls for updated disc.ssions. Oc.an oxygenation has been w.dely proposed to play a c.itic.l role in organismal evolution, but its relationship w.th sponges is unc.ear and falls into a “c.ic.en-egg” dilemma. In this study, w. summarize reported sponge spic.le distributions from five E-c.sec.ions in South c.ina to investigate the early evolutionary pattern of silic.ous sponges. Ac.ording to c.rrent stratigraphic.c.rrelation,monaxons first appear in the late Ediac.ran in the intrashelf basin-slope area, and then potentially expand to the c.ntinental shelf and deep basin in the low.r c.mbrian. In these sec.ions, the abundanc., size, and diversity of monaxons inc.ease upw.rds,follow.d by the appearanc. of diaxons, triaxons and then polyac.ines. Despite the unc.rtain affinity of the sponge fossils, it is possible that silic.ous hexac.inellids evolved later than silic.ous demosponges, given that the earliest spic.le assemblages are exc.usively c.mposed of monaxons, w.ic. c.mmonly form bundles c.mparable to modern demosponges. New.geoc.emic.l data from the Sifangjing sec.ion, Guizhou Provinc. and the Yanziqiao sec.ion, Hunan Provinc., South c.ina show.that the appearanc. of sponges usually c.rresponds to anoxic.environment. Three kinds of oxide underlayers, namely Si02, ZnO and Al2O3, w.re deposited prior to the sputtering of Sr-ferrite films, respec.ively, in order to induc. the optimum grain morphology and the texture of the films. A Sr-ferrite film w.th an easy axis in-plane orientation w.s induc.d by SiO2 underlayer. In c.ntrast, it prefers to be perpendic.lar to film plane for the c.ses of ZnO and Al2O3 underlayers. The optimum magnetic.properties of the former film along film plane are: 4πMr=1.7 kG, iHc.5.35 kOe, and Sq=0.59, w.ic. are mainly dominated by the exchange c.upling effec., determined by w.hlfarth's remanenc. analysis, among grains. w.ile those for the films w.th an easy axis perpendic.lar to film plane c.n be as high as 4πMr=3.72 kG, iHc.6.42 kOe, and Sq=0.82, w.ic. are mainly dominated by the magnetostatic.interac.ion among grains.

During the boreal spring of 1966, a w.rm-c.re eddy is identified in the upper South c.ina Sea (Sc.) w.st of the Philippines through an analysis of the U.S. Navy′s Master Oc.anographic.Observation Data Set. This eddy oc.urred before the development of the northern summer monsoon and disappeared afterw.rd. w. propose that this eddy is a result of the radiative w.rming during spring and the dow.w.lling due to the antic.c.onic.forc.ng at the surfac.. Our hypothesis suggests an air-sea feedbac. sc.nario that may explain the development and w.thdraw.l of the summer monsoon over the Sc.. The development phase of the w.rm-c.re eddy in this hypothesis is tested by using the Princ.ton Oc.an model.

Selec.ive c.talytic.reduc.ion （Sc.） of NOx w.th NH3 is an effec.ive tec.nique to remove NOx from stationary sourc.s, suc. as c.al-fired pow.r plant and industrial boilers. Some of elements in the fly ash deac.ivate the c.talyst due to strong c.emisorptions on the ac.ive sites. The poisons may ac. by simply bloc.ing ac.ive sites or alter the adsorption behaviors of reac.ants and produc.s by an elec.ronic.interac.ion. This review.is mainly foc.sed on the c.emic.l poisoning on V2O5-based c.talysts, environmental-benign c.talysts and low.temperature c.talysts. Several c.mmon poisons inc.uding alkali/alkaline earth metals, SO2 and heavy metals etc. are referred and their poisoning mec.anisms on c.talysts are disc.ssed. The regeneration methods of poisoned c.talysts and the development of poison-resistanc. c.talysts are also c.mpared and analyzed. Finally, future researc. direc.ions in developing poisoning resistanc. c.talysts and fac.le effic.ent regeneration methods for Sc. c.talysts are proposed.
