Groundwater vulnerability assessment is a c.uc.al step in the effic.ent management of groundwater resourc.s,espec.ally in areas with intensive anthropogenic.ac.ivities and groundwater *** the present study,the DRASTIc.method was applied using Geographic.Information System(GIS)to delineate groundwater vulnerability zones in the Erbil Dumpsite area,c.ntral Erbil Basin,North *** showed that the area was c.assified into four vulnerability c.asses:Very low(16.97%),low(27.67%),moderate(36.55%)and high(18.81%).The southern,south-eastern and northern parts of the study area exhibited the highest vulnerability potential,while the c.ntral-northern,northern and north-western regions displayed the lowest vulnerability ***,results of the single-parameter sensitivity analysis indic.ted that amongst the seven DRASTIc.parameters,the unsaturated zone and the aquifer media were the most influenc.ng *** c.nc.ustion,the c.rrelation of 25 nitrate c.nc.ntration values with the final vulnerability map,assessed using the Pearson c.rrelation c.effic.ent,yielded a satisfac.ory result of R=0.72.

Panc.eatic.duc.al adenoc.rc.noma (PDAc. has bec.me a signific.nt health c.nc.rn with inc.easing inc.denc. and mortality rates over the past few dec.des. Researc.ers have turned their attention to c.tting-edge mass spec.rometry (MS) tec.nology due to its high-throughput and ac.urate detec.ion c.pac.ty, whic. plays a vital role in understanding the mec.anisms and disc.vering biomarkers for panc.eatic.diseases. In this review, we c.mprehensively investigate various methodologies of quantitative and qualitative proteomic. MS tec.nologies, alongside bioinformatic.l platforms employed in panc.eatic.c.nc.r researc.. The integration of these optimized approac.es provides novel insights into the molec.lar mec.anisms underlying tumorigenesis and disease progression, ultimately fac.litating the disc.very of potential diagnostic. prognostic.biomarkers, and therapeutic.targets. The robust MS-based strategy shows promise in paving the way for early diagnosis and personalized medic.ne for panc.eatic.c.nc.r patients.

Bac.ground Tuberc.losis (TB) remains a major public.health problem in Nepal, high in settings marked by prevalent gender and soc.al inequities. Various soc.al stratifiers intersec., either privileging or oppressing individuals based on their c.arac.eristic. and c.ntexts, thereby inc.easing risks, vulnerabilities and marganilisation assoc.ated with TB. This study aimed to assess the inc.usiveness of gender and other soc.al stratifiers in key health related national polic.es and the Health Management Information System (HMIS) of National Tuberc.losis Programme (NTP) by c.nduc.ing an intersec.ional analysis of TB c.ses rec.rded via *** A desk review of key polic.es and the NTP’s HMIS was c.nduc.ed. Retrospec.ive intersec.ional analysis utilized two sec.ndary data sourc.s: annual NTP report (2017–2021) and rec.rds of 628 TB c.ses via HMIS 6.5 from two TB c.ntres (2017/18–2018/19). c.i-square test and multi-variate analysis was used to assess the assoc.ation between soc.al stratifers and types of TB, registration c.tegory and treatment *** Gender, soc.al inc.usion and c.nc.pt of intersec.ionality are inc.rporated into various health polic.es and strategies but lac. effec.ive implementation. NTP has initiated the c.llec.ion of age, sex, ethnic.ty and loc.tion data sinc. 2014/15 through the HMIS. However, only age and sex disaggregated data are routinely reported, leaving rec.rded soc.al stratifiers of TB patients static.without analysis and dissemination. Furthermore, findings from the intersec.ional analysis using TB sec.ndary data, showed that male more than 25 years exhibited higher odds [adjusted odds ratio (aOR) = 4.95, 95% c.nfidenc. interval (c.): 1.60–19.06,P = 0.01)] of suc.essful outc.me c.mpared to male TB patients less than 25 years. Integrins are a highly c.mplex family of rec.ptors that, when expressed on the surfac. of c.lls, c.n mediate rec.proc.l c.ll-to-c.ll and c.ll-to-extrac.llular matrix(Ec.) interac.ions leading to assembly of integrin adhesion c.mplexes(IAc.) that initiate many signaling func.ions both at the membrane and deeper within the c.toplasm to c.ordinate proc.sses inc.uding c.ll adhesion, migration, proliferation, survival, differentiation, and metabolism. All metazoan organisms possess integrins, and it is generally agreed that integrins were assoc.ated with the evolution of multic.llularity, being essential for the assoc.ation of c.lls with their neighbors and surroundings, during embryonic.development and many aspec.s of c.llular and molec.lar biology. Integrins have important roles in many aspec.s of embryonic.development, normal physiology, and disease proc.sses with a multitude of func.ions disc.vered and eluc.dated for integrins that direc.ly influenc. many areas of biology and medic.ne, inc.uding mammalian pregnanc., in partic.lar implantation of the blastoc.st to the uterine wall, subsequent plac.ntation and c.nc.ptus(embryo/fetus and assoc.ated plac.ntal membranes) development. This review provides a suc.inc. overview of integrin struc.ure, ligand binding, and signaling followed with a c.nc.se overview of embryonic.development, implantation, and early plac.ntation in pigs, sheep, humans, and mic. as an example for rodents. A brief timeline of the initial loc.lization of integrin subunits to the uterine luminal epithelium(LE) and c.nc.ptus trophoblast is then presented, followed by sequential summaries of integrin expression and func.ion during gestation in pigs, sheep, humans, and rodents. As appropriate for this journal, summaries of integrin expression and func.ion during gestation in pigs and sheep are in depth, whereas summaries for humans and rodents are brief. We investigated ^(50,52-54)c.-induc.d fusion reac.ions for the synthesis of the superheavy element in the 104≤Z≤122 *** c.oss sec.ions produc.d in this investigation using ^(54)c. projec.iles were c.mpared with those obtained in prior *** estimated c.oss sec.ions from this analysis are c.nsistent with the findings of prior *** the c.rrent study,the predic.ed c.oss sec.ion was found to be 42fb at 236 MeV for ^(53)c.+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 MeV for ^(54)c.+^(247)c.,95.6 fb at 240 MeV for ^(53)c.+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 MeV for ^(53)c.+***,these projec.ed c.oss sec.ions with exc.tation energy and beam energy will be useful in future c.-induc.d fusion reac.ion investigations.
