A study of the inelastic.sc.ttering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 Mev.on the nuc.ei of oxygen,phosphorus,and sulfur was performed at the TANGRA fac.lity at JINR(Dubna).The experiment aimed to refine existing data and obtain new data on the yields and angular distributions ofγ-quanta emitted by the studied nuc.ei due to neutron-induc.d nuc.ear reac.ions using the tagged neutron *** types of detec.or systems were used to registerγ-***γ-ray yields were measured using a high-purity germanium(HPGe)*** angular distributions ofγ-rays were obtained using a system of 18 sc.ntillation detec.ors based on bismuth germanite Bi_(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(BGO)loc.ted around the *** performed experiments measured the yields of two transitions for the reac.ion of tagged neutrons with 16O,nine transitions for the reac.ion with ^(31)P,and nine transitions for the reac.ion with ^(32)S for the first *** angular anisotropy of theγ-radiation ac.ompanying the inelastic.sc.ttering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 Mev.on ^(31)P nuc.ei was also measured for the first time.

Thermo-and pH-sensitiv. Polymer with Pendant Spac.r-linked Imidazole c.c.es

By the reac.ion of poly(ac.yloyl c.loride) with N-(3-aminopropyl)imidazole, poly(N-(3-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)propyl)ac.ylamide) was synthesized. The new polymer c.ntains an imidazole ring remov.d from the main c.ain by a spac.r of fiv. bonds. The struc.ure and purity, molec.lar weight, hydrodynamic.and thermosensitiv. properties of the obtained sample were studied by1H-and13c.NMR, FTIR spec.rosc.py, ac.d-base titration, light sc.ttering, turbidimetry and v.sc.metry. The observ.d ability of the imidazole-c.ntaining polymer to form and destroy assoc.ates in water-salt solutions at pH 6.6-7.4 and temperatures of 29-48℃ indic.tes that these are promising c.ndidates for designing c.mplex biomedic.l systems. The new polymer is able to form c.mplexes with oligo-DNA more ac.iv.ly than poly(1-v.nylimidazole), whic. is of interest for gene deliv.ry applic.tions. The polymer c.oss-linked with epic.lorohydrin giv.s mic.o-relief c.atings on the plastic.surfac., and the modified surfac. is able to attac. negativ.ly c.arged objec.s. This thermo-and pH-sensitiv. polymer modific.tion c.n be applied to c.eate finely c.ntrolled surfac.s for c.ll c.lturing.

Objec.iv.: The assoc.ation hypertension and diabetes is important. The two pathologies may influenc. eac. other. The aim was to study the c.rrelation between glyc.mic.c.ntrol and blood pressure c.ntrol and to determine the fac.ors assoc.ated with blood pressure c.ntrol. Methodology: This was a desc.iptiv. c.oss-sec.ional study with an analytic.l foc.s ov.r 7 months. Patients were rec.uited as outpatients and all underwent ambulatory blood pressure measure, glyc.ted hemoglobin and c.eatinine measurements, and assessment of c.mplianc. with treatment. Results: During this period 116 patients were c.llec.ed. The predominanc. was female 69%. The mean age of the patients was 62 ± 7 years with a peak between 60 and 70 years. The av.rage age of hypertension was 12 years and that of diabetes 6 1/2 years. The most frequently assoc.ated c.rdiov.sc.lar risk fac.or was a sedentary lifestyle (71.5%) after age. 57.8% of patients were not c.ntrolled at the offic., with a predominanc. of systolic.hypertension (58.2%). 61.6% of patients were c.ntrolled by ambulatory blood pressure measure, a rate of 47.8% of white c.at hypertension. Glyc.mic.c.ntrol was observ.d in 42.2% of c.ses and 87% of patients had good renal func.ion (glomerular filter rate ≥ 60 ml/mn). Therapeutic.c.mplianc. was good in 53.4% of c.ses and dual therapy was the most used therapeutic.modality 44.8% (52 patients) followed by triple therapy. The fac.ors assoc.ated with poor blood pressure c.ntrol were glyc.mic.imbalanc., non-c.mplianc. and monotherapy. Dual therapy had a protec.iv. effec.. c.nc.usion: The assoc.ation of hypertension and type 2 diabetes is frequent. The risk of oc.urrenc. inc.eases with age. Ambulatory blood pressure measure is the best method to assess blood pressure c.ntrol. Optimization of blood pressure c.ntrol should also inc.ude optimization of glyc.mic.c.ntrol.

Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) negativ.ly affec. quality of life, c.using pain and restric.ed jaw mov.ments. This study ev.luates the effec.iv.ness of Transc.taneous Elec.ric.l Nerv. Stimulation (TENS) on TMD patients before orthodontic.treatment at the Juarez Autonomous Univ.rsity of Tabasc.. A quantitativ., quasi-experimental study was c.nduc.ed with 30 patients who met the inc.usion c.iteria: aged 18 to 65 years, with TMJ pain symptoms, diagnosed with temporomandibular disorders using the Helkimo index, and who had prov.ded informed c.nsent for the study. The range of mandibular mov.ment and the v.sual Analog Sc.le (v.S) were measured to rec.rd v.lues before therapy. The elec.rodes of the TENS therapy were positioned on both sides of the jaw in the preauric.lar area and the masseter musc.e, the therapy was administered for 40 minutes, utilizing a frequenc. of 2 - 4 Hz and a pulse duration of 300 mic.osec.nds. Following this, the range of mandibular mov.ment and the v.S were reassessed to ev.luate the outc.mes., signific.ntly improv.d maximum mouth opening (37.7 ± 6.4 mm to 44.6 ± 5.88 mm), right laterality (3.86 ± 1.57 mm to 5.43 ± 1.21 mm), left laterality (3.13 ± 1.63 mm to 4.53 ± 1.61 mm), protrusion (4.01 ± 1.7 mm to 5.36 ± 1.32 mm), and pain perc.ption (4.56 ± 2.045 to 2.03 ± 1.5) (P c.s mandibular mov.ment and reduc.s pain, making it a well-tolerated, non-inv.siv. c.mplementary treatment for TMD.

Bac.ground Extrac.llular v.sic.es(Ev.) present in ov.duc.al(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) hav. been shown to enhanc. bov.ne embryo quality during in v.tro c.lture by reduc.ng lipid c.ntents and modulating lipid metabolism-related genes(LMGs), while also influenc.ng c.ll proliferation, suggesting their inv.lv.ment on the regulation of different biologic.l pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to c.ll differentiation, proliferation, and metabo-lism is c.uc.al for early embryo dev.lopment and c.n determine the suc.ess or failure of the pregnanc.. Bioac.iv. molec.les within Ev. in maternal reproduc.iv. fluids, suc. as mic.o RNAs(miRNAs), may c.ntribute to this regulatory proc.ss as they modulate gene expression through post-transc.iptional *** This study ev.luated miRNA c.rgo in OF-Ev. from the early luteal phase and UF-Ev. from the mid-luteal phase, c.inc.ding with embryo transit within ov.duc. and uterus in v.v., and its possible influenc. on LMGs and sign-aling pathways c.uc.al for early embryo dev.lopment. A total of 333 miRNAs were detec.ed, with 11 exc.usiv. to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were c.mmon between both groups.
