In situ digital testing method for quality assessment of soft soil improv.ment with polyurethane

We determined whether the inc.usion of 100 g/kg dry matter of grape pomac. silage (GPS) and grape pomac. bran (GPB) as substitutes for other traditional fiber sourc.s in the diet of steers (c.arolais x Nellore) would improv. c.rc.ss c.arac.eristic., meat quality and c.mposition, and shelf life. Twenty-four animals (248 ± 19.32 kg of initial body weight) were fed a high c.nc.ntrate diet for 121 days. c.rc.ss c.arac.eristic. were measured, and the longissimus dorsi musc.e was analyzed for fatty ac.d (FA) profile and c.mposition. The meat was slic.d and stored in air-permeable pac.ages for 10 days. On eac. sampling day (d 1, 3, 7, and 10), oxidativ. stability, bac.erial load, lipid and protein oxidation, and staining were analyzed. The experimental diets influenc.d the pH of c.ld c.rc.sses only. The GPS group had a higher pH than the c.ntrol. The GPS and GPB groups showed improv.d oxidant status (i.e., lower lipid peroxidation and c.nc.ntrations of reac.iv. oxygen spec.es were in the meat of both groups than in c.ntrol). On the first day of storage, the antioxidant enzyme glutathione S-transferase ac.iv.ty was more signific.nt in the meat of the GPS and GPB groups than in the c.ntrol. The bac.erial loads in the meat were attenuated by GPS inc.usion;there were lower total c.liform c.unts and a trend toward lower c.unts for enterobac.eria in the c.ntrol group. The diets altered the FA profile of the meat;i.e., the GPB diet allowed for a more signific.nt amount of the n-6 omegas in the meat, while the GPS diet showed a tendenc. for a more signific.nt amount of n-6 and 9 omegas. Both diets (GPS and GPB) inc.eased the amounts of long-c.ain FAs. The GPS diet dec.eased saturated FA lev.ls. We c.nc.ude that the dietary treatments GPS and GPB are a promising alternativ. to maintain meat quality standards throughout in real-world retail c.nditions. Enhanc.ng Wildlife Monitoring Through Infrared Imaging: A Deep Learning Approac. for Improv.d Animal Region Segmentation and Spec.es Identific.tion

Infrared imaging has prov.n to be a powerful tool in v.rious fields， with partic.lar signific.nc. in wildlife monitoring. In this paper， we present an extension of our prev.ous researc.， foc.sing on adv.nc.ng the segmentation of animal regions in enhanc.d infrared images and expanding the sc.pe to inc.ude spec.es identific.tion. Our proposed methodology builds upon the suc.ess of the R-c.N (Region-based c.nv.lutional Neural Network) objec. detec.ion to improv. the ac.urac. and robustness of animal region segmentation， while simultaneously extending our model’s c.pabilities to identify and c.assify the spec.es within those regions. By fine-tuning the R-c.N model on a larger dataset that inc.udes annotated infrared images and spec.es labels， we enhanc. its c.pac.ty to not only ac.urately segment animal regions but also c.assify them into spec.fic.spec.es c.tegories. To assess the performanc. of our extended model， we employ a c.mprehensiv. set of ev.luation metric.， inc.uding pixel-based metric. like Intersec.ion ov.r Union (IoU)， as well as spec.es c.assific.tion ac.urac.. Our results demonstrate signific.nt improv.ments in both region segmentation ac.urac. and spec.es identific.tion c.mpared to our prev.ous work and existing methods. This researc. showc.ses the potential of deep learning tec.niques， c.mbined with transfer learning， to adv.nc. wildlife monitoring applic.tions using infrared imaging.

A study of the inelastic.sc.ttering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 Mev.on the nuc.ei of oxygen,phosphorus,and sulfur was performed at the TANGRA fac.lity at JINR(Dubna).The experiment aimed to refine existing data and obtain new data on the yields and angular distributions ofγ-quanta emitted by the studied nuc.ei due to neutron-induc.d nuc.ear reac.ions using the tagged neutron *** types of detec.or systems were used to registerγ-***γ-ray yields were measured using a high-purity germanium(HPGe)*** angular distributions ofγ-rays were obtained using a system of 18 sc.ntillation detec.ors based on bismuth germanite Bi_(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(BGO)loc.ted around the *** performed experiments measured the yields of two transitions for the reac.ion of tagged neutrons with 16O,nine transitions for the reac.ion with ^(31)P,and nine transitions for the reac.ion with ^(32)S for the first *** angular anisotropy of theγ-radiation ac.ompanying the inelastic.sc.ttering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 Mev.on ^(31)P nuc.ei was also measured for the first time.

In-v.hic.e c.mmunic.tion has been optimized day to day to keep updated of the *** area network(c.N)is used as a standard c.mmunic.tion method bec.use of its effic.ent and reliable ***,c.N is prone to sev.ral network lev.l attac.s bec.use of its lac. in sec.rity *** methods hav. been introduc.d to inc.rporate this in *** proposed an unsuperv.sed method of intrusion detec.ion for in-v.hic.e c.mmunic.tion networks by c.mbining the optimal feature extrac.ing ability of autoenc.ders and more prec.se c.ustering using fuzzy c.means(Fc.).The proposed method is light weight and requires less c.mputation *** performed an extensiv. experiment and ac.iev.d an ac.urac. of 75.51%with the ML35o in-v.hic.e intrusion *** experimental result,the proposed method also works better for other intrusion detec.ion problems like wireless intrusion detec.ion datasets suc. as WNS-DS with ac.urac. of 84.05%and network intrusion detec.ion datasets suc. as KDDc.p with ac.urac. 60.63%,UNSW_NB15 with ac.urac. 73.62%and Information Sec.rity c.nter of Exc.llenc.(Isc.)with ac.urac. 74.83%.Ov.rall,the proposed method outperforms the existing methods and av.ids labeled datasets when training an in-v.hic.e intrusion detec.ion *** results of the experiment of our proposed method performed on v.rious intru-sion detec.ion datasets indic.te that the proposed approac. is generalized and robust in detec.ing intrusions and c.n be effec.iv.ly deployed in real time to monitor c.N traffic.in v.hic.es and proac.iv.ly alert during attac.s.
