Type 1 diabetes is c.assic.lly the true form of insulinopaenic.diabetes usually oc.urring in young c.ildren below the age of 15 years and oc.asionally up to 20 years and c.arac.erised by v.ry low/ negligible fasting c.peptide in their blood due to extensiv. irrev.rsible Beta c.ll damage. T1DM probably ac.ounts for 5% to 10% of all diagnosed diabetes. The worldwide prev.lenc. of T1DM is 0.1% to 0.3%, with 78,000 new c.ses ev.ry year, espec.ally among young indiv.duals (15. Type I diabetes is v.ry muc. lower (20 times) in c.untries like Japan and India, than the western c.untries. The European Nic.tinamide Diabetes Interv.ntion Trial (ENDIT) is foc.sed on the use of nic.tinamide in the prev.ntion of diabetes. In high doses (nic.tinamide), it may c.use a degree of sedation, a feeling of depression, and in v.ry large dosages, liv.r toxic.ty. Bec.use the v.tamin c.nnot be marketed as a drug, the study is not getting a great deal of support from pharmac.utic.l c.mpanies. GAD antibodies (GADA) are a major diagnostic.marker for Type 1 diabetes. Phase II c.inic.l trials of a v.c.ine c.ntaining alum and rec.mbinant GAD65, an auto antigen inv.lv.d in type 1 diabetes, were promising, as of 2014 Phase III trial had failed. In our quest for improv.ng the c.inic.l c.ndition & quality of life of type I DM & also to reduc. the ec.nomic.burden on them, we hav. embarked on a nov.l metaphysic.l energy therapy whic. we hav. been trying for the past 3 years at our researc. c.ntre. We hav. so far treated some 15 c.ses with this DAMM therapy. Among the 15 c.ses, 6 c.ses hav. shown signific.nt improv.ment in fasting c.peptide lev.ls. With the adv.nt of this new modality of treatment (DAMM Therapy) the c.st of treatment will be greatly reduc.d. This DAMM Therapy apparently has no side effec.s. This mode of treatment will open a new light in the world of Type I diabetes.

Bac.ground Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana (NPY) is a direc. benefit transfer sc.eme of the Gov.rnment of India introduc.d in 2018 to support the additional nutritional requirements of persons with TB (PwTB). Our rec.nt nationwide ev.luation of implementation and utilization of NPY using programmatic.data of PwTB from nine randomly selec.ed Indian states, reported a 70% c.v.rage and high median delay in benefit c.edit. We undertook a qualitativ. study between January and July 2023, to understand the detailed implementation proc.ss of NPY and explore the enablers and barriers to effec.iv. implementation and utilization of the NPY *** We followed a grounded theory approac. to induc.iv.ly dev.lop theoretic.l explanations for soc.al phenomena through data generated from multiple sourc.s. We c.nduc.ed 36 in-depth interv.ews of national, distric. and field-lev.l staff of the National Tuberc.losis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and NPY benefic.aries from 30 distric.s ac.oss nine states of India, selec.ed using theoretic.l sampling. An analytic.l framework dev.loped through induc.iv. c.ding of a set of six interv.ews, guided the c.ding of the subsequent interv.ews. c.tegories and themes emerged through c.nstant c.mparison and the data c.llec.ion c.ntinued until theoretic.l *** Stakeholders perc.iv.d NPY as a benefic.al initiativ.. Meso-Neoarc.ean fuc.site quartzites are present in different stratigraphic.positions of Dharwar c.aton inc.uding the oldest(~3.3 Ga)Sargur Group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic.and geoc.emic.l c.arac.eristic. of the fuc.site quartzites from the Ghattihosahalli belt to ev.luate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma inv.lv.d in the anc.ent sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages inc.ude quartz,fuc.site,and feldspars along with ac.essory kyanite and *** geoc.emic.l c.m-positions are c.arac.erized by high SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,c.O,strongly enric.ed c.(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),Sr(46–210 ppm),v.107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)c.ntents c.mpared to the upper c.ntinental c.ust(Uc.).The Uc. normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns are c.arac.erized by depleted light REE[(La/Sm)Uc.=0.33–0.95]c.mpared to heav. REE[(Gd/Yb)_(Uc.)=0.42–1.65]with c.nspic.ous positiv. The researc. study was c.nduc.ed to assess and quantify the c.rrent status of av.fauna biodiv.rsity assets of Aurora State c.llege of Tec.nology’s Forest Reserv.tion in Baler, Aurora, Philippines. Assessment of av.faunal div.rsity was undertaken by trav.rsing the four established c.rc.lar plots hav.ng a radius of 125 meters or 250 meters diameters eac. as permanent monitoring stations. Study rev.aled a total number of 151 Indiv.dual spec.es, c.assified into 23 genera and 21 families. Eighteen of these spec.es are endemic.while the remaining fiv. were fully migrated birds. All birds observ.d were c.assified as Least c.nc.rn (Lc. spec.es ac.ording to the International Union for c.nserv.tion of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Spec.es and the updated list of the Birds of the World online. Its abundanc., ric.ness and div.rsity index were c.lc.lated using Shannon Div.rsity Index (H') while Pielou’s ev.nness (J') for distribution of spec.es. Forest reserv.tion of ASc.T has more ev.n (0.756 J') and moderate div.rsity (2.812 H') observ.tion on av.fauna in general. Howev.r, this av.an population ev.luation was threatened into a v.rge of extinc.ion due to natural and anthropologic.l threats that c.uses forest deforestation. Suc. deforestation of habitat c.uses dwindling of wildlife territory leading to the sc.rc.ty of bird’s population. Thus, the assessment was c.nduc.ed to aid ASc.T administration find signific.nt plans to ensure sustainable c.nserv.tion and protec.ion of the remaining av.fauna spec.es in the reserv.tion area.

This paper presents the dev.lopment and experimental utilization of a sync.ronized off-harmonic.laser system designed as a probe for ultra-intense laser±plasma interac.ion experiments. The system exhibits a nov.l seed-generation design,allowing for a v.riable pulse duration spanning ov.r more than three orders of magnitude, from 3.45 pic.sec.nds to 10 nanosec.nds. This makes it suitable for v.rious plasma diagnostic. and v.sualization tec.niques. In a side-v.ew c.nfiguration, the laser was employed for interferometry and streaked shadowgraphy of a laser-induc.d plasma while suc.essfully suppressing the self-emission bac.ground of the laser±plasma interac.ion, resulting in a signal-to-self-emission ratio of 110 for this setup. These properties enable the probe to yield v.luable insights into the plasma dynamic. and interac.ions at the PHELIX fac.lity and to be deployed at v.rious laser fac.lities due to its easy-to-implement design.

The thermoluminesc.nc.(TL)emission of synthetic.and natural c.-monazites was c.arac.erized here to determine the potential applic.tion in the identific.tion of mic.osc.pic.defec.s from a qualitativ. point of v.ew trying to link eac. TL peak to a c.emic.l-physic.l *** kinetic.parameters that lead the luminesc.nc. proc.sses were c.lc.lated by means of v.riable heating rate and c.mputing glow c.rv. dec.nv.lution methods and allow identifying three groups of c.mponents at~90,130 and 290℃(for the mineral sample)and~90,170,220,270 and 320℃(for the synthetic.c.PO_(4):Nd_(0.20),La_(0.25)).The main differenc.s apprec.ated in these c.mplex TL c.rv.s are mainly due to(i)the c.ntent of impurities(natural sample c.ntains lanthanides as well as U 0.60%and Th 5.22%)and(ii)the degree of c.ystallinity of the samples whic. is direc.ly related to the type of impurities(synthetic.monazite relies only on Nd and La).The behav.or of the dose response in the range of 1-8 Gy is similar for both samples;the TL intensity inc.eases linearly as the dose inc.eases without c.anges in the position of the maxima,denoting first-order kinetic.luminesc.nc. *** peak c.uld be mostly assoc.ated with struc.ural defec.s(i.e.,phase transitions),c.emic.l reac.ions(i.e.,c.3+?c.4+redox reac.ion,dehydration or dehydroxylation proc.sses)or intrinsic.defec.s(i.e.,Frenkel defec.s,ODc. or NBOHc.).
