To explore the antic.nc.r ac.iv.ty of 2, 4, 5, 6-substituted pyrimidines, sev.ral ethyl 2-(1-aminoc.c.obutyl)-5-(benzoyloxy)-6-hydroxy-pyrimidine-4-c.rboxylate?deriv.tiv.s assoc.ated with the different substituted aromatic.aliphatic.c.rboxamides?and sulfonamides were synthesized. Different groups and position on phenyl ring attac.ed to the c.rboxamide?and sulfonamide of the pyrimidine led to two set of c.mpounds. Their c.emic.l struc.ures were c.nfirmed by IR,1H NMR and Lc.MS analysis. c.totoxic.ty of all the synthesized c.mpounds were examined on human leukemia c.lllines (K562 and c.M). The preliminary results showed most of the deriv.tiv.s exhibited good antitumor ac.iv.ty. c.mpound?with para c.loro substitution among c.rboxamides and c.mpound with meta dic.loro substitution among sulphonamidesexhibited signific.nt antitumor ac.iv.ty with Ic.0 v.lue of 14.0 μM and 15.0 μM respec.iv.ly against K562c.ll line. For c.mparison among elec.ron donating groups between c.rboxamides and sulfonamides, c.mpounds with?para tert-butyl substitution were c.osen for further studies. c.ll c.c.e analysis suggests that both tert-butyl substituted?c.mpounds are able to induc. apoptosis.

Nano phosphors of 2%Dy^(3+)(wt%)doped La_(2)MgTiO_(6) and monov.lent/div.lent/triv.lent c.-doped La_(1.98)Dy_(0.02)MgTiO_(6):x%A^(y+)(A^(y+):Li+,Ba^(2+),Sr^(2+),Bi^(3+),and Sm^(3+);0≤x≤2 wt%)were synthesized by c.mbustion *** the XRD data,it is deduc.d that an inc.ease in the v.lenc. of c.-dopant inc.eases the c.ystallinity of the double perov.kite orthorhombic.nanoc.ystal *** an inc.ease in c.-dopant size,an elev.tion in optic.l bandgap is v.sible with the highest bandgap of 3.835 ev.for Bi^(3+).The photo-absorption is monotonic.lly broadened for Sr^(2+),Sm^(3+),and Li+around 200-450 ***351 nm,Dy^(3+)triggered lattic. shows major c.arac.eristic.emission peaks at 480 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(15/2)),574 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2)),and 670 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(11/2)).leading to near white light emission with c.E c.ordinates(0.341,0.376).Upon c.-doping,the PL intensity is signific.ntly inc.eased with maximum emission for triv.lent Sm^(3+),followed by div.lent Sr^(2+)and monov.lent Li+*** inc.easing exc.tation wav.length,Sr^(2+)shows a dominated output and it is found that div.lent Sr^(2+)is a potential c.dopant that c.uld enhanc. luminesc.nc. intensity up to 6 times with a Sr^(2+)→Dy^(3+)energy transfer effic.enc. of 86%.It is spec.fied that the c.E c.ordinates of Li+c.-doped samples show ideal white emission with c.lor c.ordinates(0.333,0.336).The c.nc.uding outc.mes signify the noblest rare earth Sm^(3+)c.-doping and thus Sm^(3+)→Dy^(3+)energy transfer mec.anism is disc.ssed in detail.

In this paper we emphasize statistic.l links between solar ac.iv.ty and orbital motion with v.rious terrestrial phenomena: terrestrial temperature, sea lev.ls, ic. areas, frequenc.es of v.lc.nic.eruptions, and Oc.anic.Nino Index (ONI). Solar ac.iv.ty links. The solar ac.iv.ty indic.s are expressed through the av.raged sunspot numbers SSN and the summary c.rv. of eigen v.c.ors of the solar bac.ground magnetic.field (SBMF). The terrestrial temperature (GLB dataset), global sea lev.l, and v.lc.nic.eruption frequenc.es are shown from the wav.let analysis to hav. a c.ear link to the SBMF index, whic. has the same signific.nt period of 21.4 years. The ic. and snow areas in the Northern hemisphere are found to v.ry with a period of 10.7 years equal to the usual sunspot ac.iv.ty c.c.e while in the Southern hemispheres, no links to solar ac.iv.ty are detec.ed. Solar orbital motion links. The v.riations of total solar irradianc. (TSI) measured from the abundanc. of 14c.isotope during the Holoc.ne are shown to hav. a similar period of 2200-2300 years (Hallstatt’s c.c.e) as the solar inertial motion (SIM) induc.d by the grav.tation of large planets, In the c.rrent millennium the amount of TSI deposited on Earth in the Marc.-September to Northern hemisphere is ≈1.2% higher than in the September to Marc. in the Southern hemisphere. The wav.let analysis of ONI rev.aled the two signific.nt periods of 4.5 and 12 years. The first one is shown to hav. a link to the lunar perigee period v.riations while the sec.nd period is linked to the Jupiter period of rev.lution about the Sun whose grav.tation seems to trigger terrestrial tec.onic.proc.sses leading to v.lc.nic.eruptions. The ONI v.riation is notic.ably linked to the oc.urrenc. of underwater v.lc.nic.eruptions (c.rrelation of 25%), whic., in turn, are linked to the tidal forc.s of Jupiter, the Moon and the Sun in its inertial motion. Joint effec.s of the solar ac.iv.ty and the solar and planetary orbital motion are likely to gov.rn

Introduc.ion: Primary polydipsia, frequently observ.d in patients with sc.izophrenia, c.n c.use sev.re hyponatremia, leading to serious c.mplic.tions. Objec.iv.: This study rev.ews the management and prev.lenc. of psyc.ogenic.polydipsia, foc.sing on treatments and c.inic.l outc.mes. Methods: Following the PRISMA guidelines, studies on polydipsia in psyc.iatric.patients were inc.uded. Data were extrac.ed from databases suc. as PubMed and Sc.pus, and a meta-analysis was performed. Results: Fifteen studies were analyzed, totaling 586 patients. The use of urea was effec.iv. in c.rrec.ing hyponatremia, while antipsyc.otic. showed mixed results. Heterogeneity between studies was moderate (I2 = 56%). c.nc.usion: Psyc.ogenic.polydipsia is a sev.re c.ndition in sc.izophrenic.patients. The use of urea has shown promise, but further studies are needed to optimize treatments.

Abnormal expression of mic.oRNAs is c.nnec.ed to brain dev.lopment and disease and c.uld prov.de nov.l biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of bipolar disorder. We performed a PubMed searc. for mic.oRNA biomarkers in bipolar disorder and found 18 original researc. artic.es on studies performed with human patients and published from January 2011 to June 2023. These studies inc.uded mic.oRNA profiling in bloodand brain-based materials. From the studies that had v.lidated the preliminary findings,potential c.ndidate biomarkers for bipolar disorder in adults c.uld be miR-140-3p,-30d-5p,-330-5p,-378a-5p,-21-3p,-330-3p,-345-5p in whole blood, miR-19b-3p,-1180-3p,-125a-5p, let-7e-5p in blood plasma, and miR-7-5p,-23b-5p,-142-3p,-221-5p,-370-3p in the blood serum. Two of the studies had inv.stigated the c.anges in mic.oRNA expression of patients with bipolar disorder rec.iv.ng treatment. One showed a signific.nt inc.ease in plasma miR-134 c.mpared to baseline after 4 weeks of treatment whic. inc.uded typic.l antipsyc.otic., atypic.l antipsyc.otic., and benzodiazepines. The other study had assessed the effec.s of presc.ibed medic.tions whic. inc.uded neurotransmitter rec.ptorsite binders(drug c.ass B) and sedativ.s, hypnotic., antic.nv.lsants, and analgesic.(drug c.ass c. on mic.oRNA results. The c.mbined effec.s of the two drug c.asses inc.eased the signific.nc. of the results for miR-219 and-29c.with miR-30e-3p and-526b* ac.uiring signific.nc.. Mic.oRNAs were tested to see if they c.uld serv. as biomarkers of bipolar disorder at different c.inic.l states of mania, depression, and euthymia. One study showed that upregulation in whole blood of miR-9-5p,-29a-3p,-106a-5p,-106b-5p,-107,-125a-3p,-125b-5p and of miR-107,-125a-3p oc.urred in manic.and euthymic.patients c.mpared to c.ntrols, respec.iv.ly, and that upregulation of miR-106a-5p,-107 was found for manic.c.mpared to euthymic.patients. A new method for the synthesis of azo Sc.iff an base ligand in whic. the azo and azomethine groups are c.ordination sites was dev.loped through a Sc.iff base prec.rsor. The prec.rsor, N-4-methoxybenzylidene-3-hydroxyphenylamine （SB） deriv.d from 3-aminophenol was regioselec.iv.ly c.upled with a diazonium ion para to the hydroxyl group of the amine c.mponent of the Sc.iff base. The para selec.iv.ty was c.ntrolled by the direc.ing effec. of the hydroxyl group. The ligand and its nic.el（Ⅱ） c.mplex were c.arac.erized by elemental analyses, IR and Uv.v.s spec.rosc.py. The analytic.l and spec.ral data supported the mononuc.ear formulation of the c.mplex with metal to ligand ratio （M ： L = 1 ： 2） and suggested a square planar geometry for the c.mplex.

Morphology-based studies hav. suggested a v.ry depauperate bee fauna for islands in the South West Pac.fic. and rec.nt genetic.studies sinc. hav. indic.ted an ev.n smaller endemic.fauna with many bee spec.es in this region resulting from human-aided dispersal. These introduc.d spec.es hav. the potential to both disrupt nativ. pollinator suites as well as augment c.op pollination, but for most spec.es the timings of introduc.ion are unknown. We examined the distribution and nesting biology of the long-tongued bee Braunsapis puangensis that was first rec.rded from Fiji in 2007. This bee has now bec.me widespread in Fiji and both its loc.l abundanc. and geographic.l range are likely to inc.ease dramatic.lly. The impac.s of this inv.sion are potentially enormous for agric.lture and nativ. ec.systems, but they also prov.de opportunities for understanding how soc.al insec. spec.es adapt to new env.ronments. We outline the major issues assoc.ated with this rec.nt inv.sion and argue that a long-term monitoring study is needed.
