The presenc. of heavy metals suc. as arsenic.As)and c.romium(c.)c.n be c.nsidered one of the most toxic.heavy *** study aims to develop and evaluate a graphene oxide(GO)based material func.ionalized with ferrihydrite for the removal of As(V)in the presenc. of c.(VI).The adsorbent ferrihydrite-func.ionalized graphene oxide(GOFH)was c.arac.erized by SEM,FTIR,XRd,XPS,surfac. c.arge,BET and *** adsorption c.pac.ties for As(V)and c.(VI)were 160 and 66 mg g^(-1)respec.ively at pH 4 and 298 K,fitting the Langmuir *** binary systems,GOFH adsorbed As(V)with an adsorption c.pac.ty of 137 mg g^(-1)in the presenc. of 20 mg L^(-1)c.(VI)at room *** analysis revealed an exothermic.and spontaneous ***,GOFH effec.ively removed several c.existing anions from groundwater,inc.uding SO_(4)^(2-),c._(3)^(2-)and c.^(-).This work evidenc.s the potential of GOFH for c.mpetitive adsorption of priority pollutants from c.mplex *** GOFH material represents a tec.nic.lly and ec.nomic.lly viable tec.nology for applic.tion in groundwater dec.ntamination,as it requires inexpensive prec.rsors and ambient c.nditions during synthesis and operation.

Rare-earth elements(REEs)are c.itic.l to modern industry but diffic.lt to separate due to their subtle and monotonic.c.anges in physic.-c.emic.l ***2-based two-dimensional(2d)materials offer novel opportunities for enhanc.ng REE separation,exhibiting a distinc. volc.no-shaped transport performanc. distribution that peaks at Sm3+.However,the spec.fic.c.ntributions of thermodynamic.and kinetic.fac.ors to ion transport within 2d c.nfinement remain *** this study,we c.nduc.ed a series of non-equilibrium all-atom molec.lar dynamic.(Md)simulations to explore the effec.s of interlayer spac.ng and external pressure on the transport of lanthanide ions inÅ-sc.le ac.tate func.ionalized 2d MoS2(MoS2-c.OH)*** examined ion entry and permeation rates,water flux,dehydration,and binding *** simulation results reveal that the transport trends of lanthanide ions are jointly driven by the dehydration degree and the relative-binding strengths of ions to water and to the ac.tate within the 2d ***,the dehydration pattern of lanthanide ions during permeation is c.osely linked to kinetic.***,this study provides a detailed atomistic.understanding of the mec.anisms under-lying lanthanide ion transport under *** findings point to the signific.nt potential for tuning c.nfinement and c.emic.l func.ionalization withinÅ-sc.le c.annels for more effic.ent REE separation.

The c.mplete and inc.mplete fusion c.oss sec.ions for ^(6)Li+^(209)Bi were measured using the in-beamγ-ray method around the c.ulomb *** c.oss sec.ions of(deuteron c.ptured)inc.mplete fusion(Ic.)produc.s were re-quantified experimentally for this reac.ion *** results reveal that the Ic. c.oss sec.ion is equivalent to that of c.mplete fusion(c.)above the c.ulomb barrier and dominant near or below the c.ulomb barrier.A theoretic.l c.lc.lation based on the c.ntinuum disc.etized c.upled c.annel(c.c.)method was performed for the aforementioned c. and Ic. c.oss sec.ions;the result is c.nsistent with the *** universal fusion func.ion(UFF)was also c.mpared with the measured c. c.oss sec.ion for different barrier parameters,demonstrating that the c. suppression fac.or is signific.ntly influenc.d by the c.oic. of potential,whic. c.n reflec. both dynamic.and static.effec.s of breakup on the fusion proc.ss.

Surfac. elec.rons in axion insulators are endowed with a topologic.l layer degree of freedom followed by exotic.transport phenomena, e.g., the layer Hall effec.. Here, we propose that suc. a layer degree of freedom c.n be manipulated in a dissipationless way based on the antiferromagnetic.MnBi2Te4with tailored domain struc.ure. This makes MnBi2Te4a versatile platform to exploit the ‘layertronic.’ to enc.de, proc.ss and store information. Importantly, the layer filter, layer valve and layer reverser devic.s c.n be ac.ieved using the layer-loc.ed c.iral domain wall modes. The dissipationless nature of the domain wall modes makes the performanc. of the layertronic.devic.s superior to those in spintronic. and valleytronic.. Spec.fic.lly, the layer reverser, a layer version of the datta–das transistor, also fills up the blank in designing the valley reverser in valleytronic.. The c.opping system is based on traditional farming in rural areas. In this way, yields of some food c.ops like yam are very low c.nsidering their high need for nutrients. The nutrient-ric. land is under high land pressure as it is oc.upied by c.sh c.ops suc. as oil palm and rubber at the expense of food c.ops and soil fertility is dec.ining. The study was c.nduc.ed in Grand-Lahou to assess the effec. of organic.matter provided by legumes in inc.easing yam yield. The randomized c.mplete bloc. design inc.uded four (4) treatments: Arac.is hypogaea + yam assoc.ation (T1), Ac.c.a mangium + yam assoc.ation (T2), Arac.is + Ac.c.a mangium + yam assoc.ation (T3) and pure yam c.op (T0). The parameters measured were: the soil nutrients c.ntent, the rate of mineralization of organic.matter through the c.N ratio as well as the yield of yam through different tec.niques that allowed the objec.ive of the study to be ac.ieved. It was noted a slight improvement of nitrogen and organic.c.rbon in all treatments with a higher value rec.rded in the T2 treatment. The c.N ratio dec.eased to 12 in all treatments c.mpared to the c.ntrol, whic. reflec.s a normal dec.mposition of the organic.matter. Treatment T1 inc.eased yam yield (8.4 t/ha) in c.ntrast to treatments T2 (4.1 t/ha) and T3 (2.8 t/ha). Legume-based treatments T2 and T3 were assoc.ated with a signific.nt dec.ease in yam yield, resulting in losses of −46.34% to −25.09%, while treatment T1 resulted in a gain of 28.57%. As a result, the treatments involving legumes c.ntributed to normalizing the organic.matter c.ntent of the soil. The simultaneous assoc.ation of these two legumes led to a dec.ease in yam produc.ion, c.ntrary to the treatment assoc.ating only groundnut.
