Lo. inc.me is the main pro.lem o. millio.s o. farmers who.are c.ltivating 4.81 millio. hec.ares in the Philippines. This pro.lem is attributed to.c.allenges spec.fic.lly lo. yield, lo. quality o. pro.uc., and signific.nt po.t-harvest lo.ses, partic.larly in a reso.rc.-sc.rc. setting. This study aimed to.help inc.ease the farmers’ inc.me in selec.ed to.ns o. Nueva Ec.ja thro.gh the pro.o.io. and use o. spec.al purpo.e ric. pro.uc.io. tec.no.o.y. Twenty (20) farmer-c.o.erato.s in three to.ns o. Nueva Ec.ja were selec.ed to.demo.strate the pro.uc.io. tec.no.o.y c.vering a to.al area o. 4.75 hec.ares during the dry seaso., and 3.3 hec.ares during the wet seaso., bo.h in 2023. Extensio. mo.alities suc. as training, tec.no.demo.establishment, info.matio. material and tec.nic.l assistanc. pro.isio., and market linkage were undertaken to.enhanc. their kno.ledge, attitude, and skills o. spec.al ric. pro.uc.io. and enterprise. The study utilized the desc.iptive quantitative metho. wherein the data were gathered thro.gh surveys, spec.fic.lly perso.al interviews. Results sho.ed that 70% o. the farmer-c.o.erato.s were male and 60% were living belo. the po.erty thresho.d. The farmers were 53 years o.d o. average and engaged in farming as their primary so.rc. o. inc.me. The average yield o. spec.al purpo.e ric. partic.larly the c.S-2 variety was higher (6.46 MT/ha and 6.22 MT/ha during dry and wet seaso.s, respec.ively) than that o. inbred o. no.-spec.al ric.. The inc.me per hec.are fro. spec.al purpo.e ric. pro.uc.io. per hec.are was Php 75,420.00, whic. is higher than that o. regular ric. at Php 29,389.00, giving a higher benefit o. Php 46,031.00. The tec.no.o.y ado.ters and area planted inc.eased (fro. 6 to.9 and fro. 1.4 hec.ares to.2.75 hec.ares, respec.ively) in Lic.b, Nueva Ec.ja. The o.po.ite was true in Sto. Do.ingo.and Guimba, Nueva Ec.ja where farmers were disc.uraged by the marketing issues that aro.e.

In this study, the mec.anic.l pro.erties o. aluminum-5%magnesium do.ed with rare earth metal neo.ymium were evaluated. Fuzzy lo.ic.(FL) and artific.al neural netwo.k (ANN) were used to.mo.el the mec.anic.l pro.erties o. aluminum-5%magnesium (0-0.9 wt%) neo.ymium. The single input (SI) to.the fuzzy lo.ic.and artific.al neural netwo.k mo.els was the perc.ntage weight o. neo.ymium, while the multiple o.tputs (Mo. were average grain size, ultimate tensile strength, yield strength elo.gatio. and hardness. The fuzzy lo.ic.based mo.el sho.ed mo.e ac.urate predic.io. than the artific.al neutral netwo.k-based mo.el in terms o. the c.rrelatio. c.effic.ent values (R).

We present reso.ved Giant Metrewave Radio.Telesc.pe H I o.servatio.s o. the high gas-phase metallic.ty dwarf galaxy WISEA J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(hereafter J2306) and investigate whether it could be a Tidal Dwarf Galaxy(TDG) c.ndidate. TDGs are o.served to.have higher metallic.ties than no.mal dwarfs. J2306 has an unusual c.mbinatio. o. a blue g-r c.lo. o. 0.23 mag, irregular o.tic.l mo.pho.o.y and high-metallic.ty(12 +lo.(o.H) = 8.68 ± 0.14), making it an interesting galaxy to.study in mo.e detail. We find J2306 to.be an H I ric. galaxy with a large extended, unperturbed ro.ating H I disk. Using o.r H I data we estimated its dynamic.l mass and fo.nd the galaxy to.be dark matter(DM) do.inated within its H I radius. The quantity o. DM, inferred fro. its dynamic.l mass, appears to.rule o.t J2306 as an evo.ved TDG.
