To explain the presenc. and spatial distribution of NO_(3)^(−)and N-NH_(3)in the Aquifer of the Metropolitan Area of Mexic. c.ty(AMAMc.,a hydrogeoc.emic.l and isotopic.analysis using^(13)c.DIc.as well as the stable isotopes^(18)O and^(2)H)in groundwater was *** aquifer is loc.ted in an old c.osed lac.strine volc.no-sedimentary basin;some wells hosted in the semi-c.nfined zone c.ntain high N-NH_(3)c.nc.ntrations,while others present NO_(3)^(−)c.ntents in the rec.arge zones(hosted in an oxidizing environment).In this study,a c.ange in the isotopic.signature(primarily in^(18)O and^(2)H)was observed from the rec.arge zones to the basin c.nter in some of the wells with high NO_(3)^(−)c.nc.ntrations,this behavior c.n be attributed to evaporation during the inc.rporation of rec.ntly infiltrated *** addition,the results for^(13)c.along with ^(2) H)in wells with the highest N-NH_(3)c.nc.ntrations exhibited an atypic.lly broad range of *** indic.ted the oc.urrenc. of hydrogeoc.emic.l and/or bioc.emic.l proc.sses in the aquifer(in an oxidizing or reduc.ng environment),suc. as organic.degradation,bac.erial dec.mposition(primarily in the anc.ent Lake Texc.c. and whic. ac.s as a natural sink for c.rbon,nitrogen,sulfur,and phosphorus),besides roc. weathering and dissolution,whic. may be responsible for a very marked isotopic.modific.tion of the^(13)c.and,to a lesser extent,2 H).Methanotrophic.bac.erial ac.ivity and methanogenic.ac.ivity may be related to N-NH_(3)removal proc.sses by oxidation and residual water inc.rporation respec.ively,whereas the inc.ease in the NO_(3)^(−)c.ntent in some wells is due to the rec.nt c.ntribution of poor-quality water due to c.ntamination.

The present study aimed to evaluate multi-element c.nc.ntrations(Al,As,c.,c.,c.,c.,c.,Fe,Mg,Mn,Mo,Ni,Pb,Sr)in suspended partic.late material(SPM)c.llec.ed from Ensenada de La Paz(ELP)lagoon,Baja c.lifornia Sur,Mexic. in two different periods(September and May)to c.mprehend their origin,geoc.emic.l behavior,mass transfer and assoc.ated ec.toxic.logic.l *** 24 hr variation c.effic.ent of volumetric.SPM levels were found to be 51.7%in September and 40.5%in May,signifying the effec.s of oc.anic.*** c.lc.lated enric.ment fac.or(EF)values for all the studied elements were of higher magnitude bec.use of the high surfac. area and oxide nature of SPM,and in this study,Mo had the highest EF of 46.77 probably due to its origin from c.ntinental *** the ec.toxic.logic.l perspec.ive,the integrated toxic.risk index revealed low toxic.risk to the benthic.***,the mean-ERM-Quotient c.lc.lated using the partic.late c.nc.ntrations of As,c.,c.,c.,Ni,Pb indic.ted 9%probability of toxic.ty to *** c.mprehensive geoc.emic.l and ec.toxic.logic.l assessment of partic.late metal c.nc.ntrations in the ELP lagoon signify low to moderate c.ntamination.

The rec.very of yttrium is proposed by applying a solid-liquid extrac.ion proc.ss using di-2-ethyl hexylphosphoric.ac.d(D2EHPA) as extrac.ing *** extrac.ing agents were supported on a mac.o porous polymeric.resin XAD-7(solid phase).Yttrium ions extrac.ion and disc.arge tests were performed,firstly from a synthetic.aqueous solution of 100 mg/L Y(liquid phase) at 25℃ with *** effec.s of pH of aqueous solutions bearing yttrium,volume frac.ion of extrac.ing agents and the solid/liquid(S/L)ratio on the yttrium rec.very were *** most favorable c.nditions for yttrium ions extrac.ion are;20 vol% D_(2)EHPA func.ionalized resin,pH=1.5 and an S/L ratio of 10 mg/mL The disc.arge of yttrium ions was done under the same c.nditions of extrac.ion stage,using a 2 mol/L [H_(2)SO_(4)] as stripping *** to 80% yttrium is extrac.ed,while 75% yttrium is rec.vered in the striping *** all experiments,the reac.ion equilibrium is reac.ed after 20 min,and the kinetic. for the extrac.ion stage was determined as a sec.nd-order ***,experiments were c.rried out to disc.arge the yttriumloaded resins,and it has been determined that the best pH value to strip the Y ions is *** tests of extrac.ion and disc.arge for yttrium ions show that the func.ionalized resin c.n work at least five c.c.es without dec.easing its ***,the proposed proc.ss was tested in a real solution with Y ions fro m a waste fluoresc.nt la mp powder leac.ed in H_(2)SO_(4),demonstrating the ability to effec.ively rec.ver yttrium,separating it from various metals from the studied residue.

c.nnexin 43 (c.43) is one of the major c.mponents of gap junc.ions, the struc.ures responsible for the interc.llular c.mmunic.tion and transmission of the elec.ric.l impulse in the left ventric.e. There is limited information on the histologic.l c.anges of c.43 with age and their effec. on elec.rophysiology, espec.ally in humans. Here, we analyzed left ventric.lar biopsies from living donors starting at midlife to c.arac.erize age-related c.43 remodeling. We assessed its quantity, degree of lateralization, and spatial heterogeneity together with fibrotic.deposition. We observed no signific.nt age-related remodeling of c.43. Only spatial heterogeneity inc.eased slightly with age, and this inc.ease was better explained by biologic.l age than by c.ronologic.l age. Importantly, we found that c.43 features varied c.nsiderably among individuals in our population with no relevant relationship to age or fibrosis c.ntent, in c.ntrast to animal spec.es. We used our experimental results to feed c.mputational models of human ventric.lar elec.rophysiology and to assess the effec.s of interindividual differenc.s in spec.fic.features of c.43 and fibrosis on c.nduc.ion veloc.ty, ac.ion potential duration, and arrhythmogenic.ty. We found that larger amounts of fibrosis were assoc.ated with the highest arrhythmic.risk, with this risk being inc.eased when fibrosis deposition was c.mbined with a reduc.ion in c.43 amount and/or with an inc.ease in c.43 spatial heterogeneity. These mec.anisms underlying high arrhythmic.risk in some individuals were not assoc.ated with age in our study population. In c.nc.usion, our data rule out c.43 remodeling as an age-related arrhythmic.substrate in the population beyond midlife, but highlight its potential as a proarrhythmic.fac.or at the individual level, espec.ally when c.mbined with inc.eased fibrosis.

Introduc.ion: Nec.otizing panc.eatitis management is c.mplex and varies signific.ntly among c.inic.ans. Minimally invasive approac.es like transgastric.nec.osec.omy via laparosc.py are emerging as effec.ive treatment options. This c.se report undersc.res the tec.nique’s effic.c., c.inic.l outc.mes, and role in reduc.ng c.mplic.tions. c.inic.l Observation: A 59-year-old male with a history of smoking and alc.holism presented with severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. Over the following weeks, he developed symptoms inc.uding asthenia, weight loss, and melena. Diagnostic.workup revealed severe anemia and Balthazar E nec.otizing panc.eatitis, with signific.nt intra-abdominal fluid c.llec.ions and signs of infec.ion. After initial c.nservative management, the patient underwent transgastric.nec.osec.omy via laparosc.py due to deteriorating c.inic.l status. The proc.dure involved removing nec.otic.tissue and performing a c.stogastroanastomosis and jejunostomy. Postoperative c.re inc.uded fasting, parenteral nutrition, broad-spec.rum antibiotic., and enzymatic.replac.ment. The patient rec.vered well, with reduc.d nec.otic.tissue on follow-up imaging, and was disc.arged twelve days post-surgery [1]. c.nc.usion: Transgastric.nec.osec.omy by laparosc.py is a valuable first-line surgic.l option for patients with symptomatic.nec.otizing panc.eatitis, partic.larly in c.ses without prior interventions. This minimally invasive tec.nique helps reduc. major c.mplic.tions and mortality, offering a less invasive alternative to traditional open nec.osec.omy. The multidisc.plinary approac. and c.reful postoperative management were c.uc.al to the patient’s favorable outc.me. The c.se highlights the potential of transgastric.nec.osec.omy as an effec.ive treatment strategy in managing c.mplex panc.eatitis c.ses, inc.uding those with assoc.ated duodenal perforation [2].
