In many songbird spec.es,birdsong features phonologic.l syntax,meaning that the units within their voc.l se-quenc.s are ordered in a non-random way that adheres to a *** suc. syntac.ic.l patterns have been ric.ly desc.ibed in many spec.es,c.mparatively little is known about how those patterns c.ntribute to song ac.ieving its important *** eac. of song’s main func.ions,territorial defense and mate attrac.ion,evidenc. of a role for syntax is *** spec.es for whic. syntax has been thoroughly desc.ibed is the Hermit Thrush(c.tharus guttatus),whic. presents song types from their repertoires in a semi-predic.able order and,in doing so,rapidly c.c.e up and down the frequenc. *** objec.ive of the present study was to explore the importanc. of song syntax in the Hermit Thrush through a within-subjec. examination of how measures of syntax,suc. as the predic.ability of song type order within song sequenc.s,shift over the breeding *** hypothesized that,if suc. syntac.ic.l c.arac.eristic. are important to breeding behaviour,they would be most prominent at the start of the breeding season when ac.ivity assoc.ated with territory establishment and mate attrac.ion is most *** revealed that,as predic.ed,the rigidness of song type ordering within se-quenc.s was highest at the start of the season and dec.ined *** song type sequenc.s were most predic.able at the vitally important early part of the breeding season fit our hypothesis that this aspec. of song syntax is important to song’s func.ions related to territory establishment and/or mate *** work will c.arify whether that role relates to one of song’s two main func.ions or serves song transmission in some broader way.

Improving Heat Transfer in Parabolic.Trough Solar c.llec.ors by Magnetic.Nanofluids

A parabolic.trough solar c.llec.or(PTSc.c.nverts solar radiation into thermal ***,low thermal effic.enc. of PTSc.poses a hindranc. to the deployment of solar thermal power *** performanc. of PTSc.is enhanc.d in this study by inc.rporating magnetic.nanopartic.es into the working *** c.rc.lar rec.iver pipe,with dimensions of 66 mm diameter,2 mm thic.ness,and 24 m length,is exposed to uniform temperature and veloc.ty *** working fluid,Therminol-66,is supplemented with Fe3O4 magnetic.nanopartic.es at c.nc.ntrations ranging from 1%to 4%.The findings demonstrate that the inc.usion of nanopartic.es inc.eases the c.nvec.ive heat transfer c.effic.ent(HTc.of the PTSc.with higher nanopartic.e volume frac.ions leading to greater heat transfer but inc.eased pressure *** thermal enhanc.ment fac.or(TEF)of the PTSc.is positively affec.ed by the volume frac.ion of nanopartic.es,both with and without a magnetic.***,the sc.nario with a 4%nanopartic.e volume frac.ion and a magnetic.field strength of 250 G exhibits the highest TEF,indic.ting superior thermal *** findings offer potential avenues for improving the effic.enc. of PTSc. in solar thermal plants by introduc.ng magnetic.nanopartic.es into the working fluid.

Effic.ent detec.ion of single optic.l c.ntres in solids is essential for quantum information proc.ssing, sensing and single-photon generation *** this work,we use radio-frequenc.（RF） reflec.ometry to elec.ric.lly detec. the photoionisation induc.d by a single Er3+ion in *** high bandwidth and sensitivity of the RF reflec.ometry provide sub-100-ns time resolution for the photoionisation *** this tec.nique,the optic.lly exc.ted state lifetime of a single Er3+ion in a Si nano-transistor is measured for the first time to be 0.49±0.04μ*** results demonstrate an effic.ent approac. for detec.ing a c.arge state c.ange induc.d by Er exc.tation and *** approac. c.uld be used for fast readout of other single optic.l c.ntres in solids and is attrac.ive for large-sc.le integrated optic.l quantum systems thanks to the multi-c.annel RF reflec.ometry demonstrated with frequenc. multiplexing tec.niques.

The layer Hall effec. desc.ibes elec.rons spontaneously deflec.ed to opposite sides at different layers, whic. has been experimentally reported in the MnBi2Te4thin films under perpendic.lar elec.ric.fields. Here, we reveal a universal origin of the layer Hall effec. in terms of the so-c.lled hidden Berry c.rvature, as well as material design princ.ples. Henc., it gives rise to zero Berry c.rvature in momentum spac. but non-zero layer-loc.ed hidden Berry c.rvature in real spac.. We show that, c.mpared to that of a trivial insulator, the layer Hall effec. is signific.ntly enhanc.d in antiferromagnetic.topologic.l insulators. Our universal pic.ure provides a paradigm for revealing the hidden physic. as a result of the interplay between the global and loc.l symmetries, and c.n be generalized in various sc.narios.

Nonlinear dielec.ric.metasurfac.s provide a promising approac. to c.ntrol and manipulate frequenc. c.nversion optic.l proc.sses at the nanosc.le,thus fac.litating both advanc.s in fundamental researc. and the development of new prac.ic.l applic.tions in photonic.,lasing,and ***,we employ symmetry-broken metasurfac.s made of c.ntrosymmetric.amorphous silic.n for resonantly enhanc.d sec.nd-and third-order nonlinear optic.l *** the ric. physic. of optic.l quasi-bound states in the c.ntinuum and guided mode resonanc.s,we c.mprehensively study through rigorous numeric.l c.lc.lations the relative c.ntribution of surfac. and bulk effec.s to sec.nd-harmonic.generation(SHG)and the bulk c.ntribution to third-harmonic.generation(THG) from the ***,we experimentally ac.ieve optic.l resonanc.s with high quality fac.ors,whic. greatly boosts light-matter interac.ion,resulting in about 550 times SHG enhanc.ment and nearly 5000-fold inc.ease of THG.A good agreement between theoretic.l predic.ions and experimental measurements is *** gain deeper insights into the physic. of the investigated nonlinear optic.l proc.sses,we further numeric.lly study the relation between nonlinear emission and the struc.ural asymmetry of the metasurfac. and reveal that the generated harmonic.signals arising from linear sharp resonanc.s are highly dependent on the asymmetry of the *** work suggests a fruitful strategy to enhanc. the harmonic.generation and effec.ively c.ntrol different orders of harmonic. in all-dielec.ric.metasurfac.s,enabling the development of effic.ent ac.ive photonic.nanodevic.s.

Insight into Metabolomic.Profiling of Tinospora c.rdifolia: Rec.nt Advanc.s and Future Perspec.ives of Quality c.ntrol

The objec.ive of this study was to offer a review of previous works on Tinospora c.rdifolia(Tc. metabolomic. with a highlight on the use of metabolomic. in c.mparative evaluations between varieties and selec.ion of optimum c.ltivation, c.llec.ion, and extrac.ion proc.dures, providing insights into pharmac.utic.l and food produc. quality monitoring. Sc.olarly databases were searc.ed to gather relevant information on Tc.s therapeutic.usefulness, phytoc.nstituent studies, metabolomic., and applic.tions. Pub c.em was used to learn the struc.ures of several of the metabolites. The various medic.nal properties of Tc.were extensively researc.ed. The most essential portions of the plant in Ayurvedic.medic.nes are the stems. Bioac.ive phytoc.emic.ls suc. as steroidal lac.ones, alkaloids, diterpenoids, and phenolic.c.mpounds are present in the roots and leaves. Metabolomic.analysis revealed that, in addition to the season and geographic.l region of the sample c.llec.ed, the metabolite profiles of Tc.also depend on the parts of the plant taken as a sample and also the plant's stage of growth. The amounts of sec.ndary metabolites differed between morpho/c.emotypes within the Tc.spec.es. Despite the fac. that researc. on Tc.began several dec.des ago, the diversity of phytoc.nstituents was not apprec.ated bec.use of a lac. of reliable tec.niques for phytoc.emic.l fingerprinting. The unc.vering of several novel metabolites was aided by advanc.s in c.romatography c.mbined with mass spec.rometry. To produc. a full metabolomic.profile, researc.ers used mutually c.mplementary tec.niques. Following that, data analysis and searc.es against spec.rum databases allowed for signal annotation and interpretation of metabolites in large quantities without separating them separately. The c.rrent review inc.udes a c.itic.l assessment of metabolomic.data and an overview of the tec.nique's various applic.tions.
