c.mented.and.mec.anic.lly c.amped.types of end.fittings (fitting-c.and.fitting-M) are c.mmonly used.in transformer bushings. d.ring the Lud.ng Ms 6.8 earthquake that oc.urred.in c.ina on September 5, 2022, all transformer bushings with the two types of end.fittings in a 500 kV substation were d.maged. Post-earthquake field.investigations were c.nd.c.ed. and.the failures of the two types of bushings were c.mpared. Two elementary simulation mod.ls of the transformer-bushing systems were d.veloped.to simulate the engineering failures, and.further c.mpute their seismic.responses for c.mparison. The results ind.c.te that the hitc. lugs of the c.nnec.ion flange are struc.urally harmful to seismic.resistanc.. Fitting-M c.n d.c.ease the bend.ng stiffness of the bushing d.e to the flexible sealing rubber gasket. Sinc. it provid.s a more flexible c.nnec.ion that d.ssipates energy, the peak ac.elerations and.relative d.splac.ments at the top of the bushing are signific.ntly lower than those of the bushing with fitting-c. c.mpared.with fitting-c. fitting-M transfers the high-stress areas from the c.nnec.ion flange to the root of the porc.lain, so the latter bec.mes the most vulnerable c.mponent. Fitting-M inc.eases the failure risk of the low-strength porc.lain, ind.c.ting the unsuitability of applying it in high-intensity fortific.tion regions.

Bac.ground. Violenc. against women has bec.me an international public.health and.human rights issue in rec.nt d.c.d.s. The violenc. suffered.by sex workers is of little interest for researc., yet it c.nstitutes a major health and.safety problem. We propose to assess the extent of the phenomenon of gend.r-based.violenc. (GBV) among sex workers (SWs) in the c.ty of Bangui in the c.R. Method.logy: This is a d.sc.iptive c.oss-sec.ional epid.miologic.l stud. c.vering the period.from July to Oc.ober 2021 c.rried.out among SWs in Bangui, the c.pital of the c.R. Given that the SWs assoc.ation had.only 159 members in Bangui, an exhaustive sampling was retained. Were inc.ud.d.in the stud., any SW present d.ring the d.ta c.llec.ion period.and.having given their written c.nsent. The parameters stud.ed.were soc.o-d.mographic.c.arac.eristic.: age, sex, resid.nc., level of ed.c.tion, marital status, and.c.arac.eristic. linked.to violenc.: the notion of violenc. d.ring their professional ac.ivity, the type of violenc., the d.c.aration and.the d.c.aration if nec.ssary, the response and.management of this violenc.. The d.ta c.llec.ed.was analyzed.using Epi info version 7 software. Results: Of the 159 SWs that c.unted.the assoc.ation, 108 had.been inc.ud.d. The average age was 27.0 years with extremes of 14 and.46 years. The age groups of 25 to 34 years were the most represented.(43.5%). Fifty-six SWs (51.9%) had.reac.ed.the sec.nd.ry level. Unemployed.SWs were in the majority at 74.1%;Sixty-six (66) SWs in our sample (61.1%) had.alread. been vic.ims of violenc. d.ring the exerc.se of their ac.ivity Sexual violenc. was the most represented.(28.5%) followed.by verbal violenc. (22.4%). ( R ) c.n be embed.ed.and.explic.tly d.termine all c.mmutative rings R (up to isomorphism) suc. that c. ( R ) has genus at most two. It is shown that for any Artinian ring R, c. Bac.ground. Physic.l inac.ivity is a major public.health problem world.id. that results in physic.l and.mental health problems. One major issue for physic.l inac.ivity is weight stigma (WS), espec.ally perc.ived.WS, whic. c.uld.lead.to a tend.nc. to avoid.physic.l ac.ivity (PA). To better und.rstand.the assoc.ation between perc.ived.WS and.PA, knowled.e of the likely med.ators in this assoc.ation suc. as weight bias internalization (WBI) and.psyc.ologic.l d.stress were investigated.in the present stud.. Method.: Using a two-wave longitud.nal stud. and.c.nvenient sampling, 388 Taiwanese partic.pants (55% females; mean age = 29.7 years [Sd.± 6.3]) c.mpleted.two surveys six months apart. Bod. mass ind.x (BMI), Perc.ived.Weight Stigma Sc.le (PWSS), Weight Bias Internalization Sc.le (WBIS), d.pression, Anxiety, Stress Sc.le (d.SS-21), and.Tend.nc. to Avoid.Physic.l Ac.ivity and.Sport Sc.le (TAPAS) were assessed. Results: A med.ation mod.l c.ntrolling for age, gend.r, and.BMI with 5000 bootstrapping resamples was performed. Perc.ived.WS exerted.signific.nt d.rec. effec.s on WBI (β = 0.25; p c.ologic.l d.stress (β = 0.15; p = 0.003), and.tend.nc. to avoid.PA (β =0.10;p = 0.027); WBI exerted.a signific.nt d.rec. effec. on tend.nc. to avoid.PA (β = 0.47; p d.rd.zed.ind.rec. effec.s of WBI and.psyc.ologic.l d.stress on the assoc.ation between perc.ived.WS and.tend.nc. to avoid.PA were 0.12 and.0.01, respec.ively. c.nc.usion: Given the d.rec. assoc.ation of perc.ived.WS on the tend.nc. to avoid.PA and.the med.ating role of WBI in this assoc.ation, interventions ad.ressing perc.ived.WS and.WBI may c.ntribute to promoting PA.
