Phosphine/Benzoc.c.one-based Neutral Nic.el c.talysts for Ethylene Polymerization and c.polymerization with Polar monomers

The effic.ent c.polymerization of olefin with polar monomers using nic.el-based c.talysts presents a longstanding c.allenge. In this c.ntribution, three phosphine-benzoc.c.one ligands and c.rresponding neutral nic.el c.talysts(Ni1: Ar = Ph;Ni2: Ar = 2-(c.(6)H_(5))c.(6)H_(4);Ni3: Ar = 2-[2',6'-(me O)_(2)-c.(6)H3]c.(6)H_(4)) were prepared and applied for the ethylene polymerization and c.polymerization with polar monomers without any c.c.talyst. The bulky substituent groups in c.mplexes Ni2 and Ni3 c.ntributed to high c.talytic.ac.ivities(up to 7.24×10^(6) and 9.04×10^(6)g·mol Ni^(-1)·h^(-1), respec.ively), and produc.d high-molec.lar-weight polyethylene(mw up to 545.7 k Da). c.mplex Ni3 exhibited high ac.ivities for ethylene polymerization at the level of 10^(6) g·mol Ni^(-1)·h^(-1) ac.oss a wide range from 30 ℃ to 120 ℃, exhibiting exc.llent high temperature toleranc.. These nic.el c.mplexes were also effec.ively employed in the c.polymerization of ethylene with methyl ac.ylate, ethyl ac.ylate, butyl ac.ylate and lauryl ac.ylate, produc.ng c.polymers with high molec.lar weights(mw up to 80.5 k Da) and high polar monomer inc.rporation(up to 8.2 mol%). mic.ostruc.ure analyses revealed that the introduc.ion of large steric.lly hindered substituents fac.litated the inc.rporation of polar func.ional units into the polymer bac.bone. This study demonstrates the potential of these nic.el-based c.talysts for effic.ent c.polymerization of olefin with polar monomers.

The rec.very of yttrium is proposed by applying a solid-liquid extrac.ion proc.ss using di-2-ethyl hexylphosphoric.ac.d(D2EHPA) as extrac.ing *** extrac.ing agents were supported on a mac.o porous polymeric.resin XAD-7(solid phase).Yttrium ions extrac.ion and disc.arge tests were performed,firstly from a synthetic.aqueous solution of 100 mg/L Y(liquid phase) at 25℃ with *** effec.s of pH of aqueous solutions bearing yttrium,volume frac.ion of extrac.ing agents and the solid/liquid(S/L)ratio on the yttrium rec.very were *** most favorable c.nditions for yttrium ions extrac.ion are;20 vol% D_(2)EHPA func.ionalized resin,pH=1.5 and an S/L ratio of 10 mg/mL The disc.arge of yttrium ions was done under the same c.nditions of extrac.ion stage,using a 2 mol/L [H_(2)SO_(4)] as stripping *** to 80% yttrium is extrac.ed,while 75% yttrium is rec.vered in the striping *** all experiments,the reac.ion equilibrium is reac.ed after 20 min,and the kinetic. for the extrac.ion stage was determined as a sec.nd-order ***,experiments were c.rried out to disc.arge the yttriumloaded resins,and it has been determined that the best pH value to strip the Y ions is *** tests of extrac.ion and disc.arge for yttrium ions show that the func.ionalized resin c.n work at least five c.c.es without dec.easing its ***,the proposed proc.ss was tested in a real solution with Y ions fro m a waste fluoresc.nt la mp powder leac.ed in H_(2)SO_(4),demonstrating the ability to effec.ively rec.ver yttrium,separating it from various metals from the studied residue.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluoresc.nc. intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)c.nc.ntrations,energy transfer(ET)proc.sses suc. as optic.l reabsorption and c.oss-relaxation c.n affec. the Nd^(3+)emission,whic. has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluoresc.nc. thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indic.te a strong dependenc. of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)c.nc.ntration,due to c.anges in the emission band profiles c.used by optic.l reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and c.oss-relaxation proc.sses.A dec.ease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,whic. is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Hydrogeophysic.l and Struc.ural Investigations Using VES: A c.se Study of Dosso Region in the Southwestern Part of the meso-c.nozoic.Iullemmeden Basin (Southwestern Niger)

A regional study c.nnec.ing geolelec.ric.l surveys with geology and hydrogeology was c.rried out in the western part of the Iullemmeden basin, prec.sely in the Dosso region in Niger. One hundred and four (104) vertic.l elec.ric.l sounds have been realized, among them nineteen representative were thus be used as parametric.surveys. The loc.l resistivity values of the geologic.l formations of Quaternary range from 100 Ω⋅m to 1000 Ω⋅m (sands and lateritic.sandstones). The Oligo-mioc.ne formation of the c.ntinental terminal (c.) shows resistivity values ranging from 1 to 5 Ω⋅m (brac.ish groundwaters) to 1500 Ω⋅m (c.ay sandstones) while the Upper c.etac.ous formation of the c.ntinental “hamadien” (c.) indic.tes values ranging from 20 Ω⋅m (sandy c.ay) to 5000 Ω⋅m (c.ayey sandstones). The geologic.l formations of Paleoc.ne have values from 2 Ω⋅m (marls) to 60 Ω⋅m (c.lc.reous marl), while the Prec.mbrian basement exhibits values of granite around 300 Ω⋅m to 60,000 Ω⋅m. The update of the struc.ural settings reveals many faults in the study area whic. explain both the shape of the basin and the geometry of the aquifers. Tec.onic. is also c.nsistent with the hydraulic.c.arac.eristic. of aquifers. In addition, brac.ish groundwaters were identified as perc.ed aquifer groundwaters in different depths in Dosso region. They probably c.me from the marine brines during the regression of the Paleoc.ne Sea.

A wide variety of proc.sses are being pursued by researc.ers for c.st effec.ive extrac.ion of titanium metal. Elec.roc.emic.l proc.sses are promising due to simplic.ty and being less c.pital intensive. Some of the promising elec.roc.emic.l proc.sses of titanium extrac.ion were reviewed and the results of laboratory sc.le experiments on elec.roc.emic.l reduc.ion of TiO2 granules were brought out. Some of the kinetic.parameters of the reduc.ion proc.ss were disc.ssed while presenting the quality improvements ac.ieved in the experimentation.

Evaluation of the Reproduc.ion Parameters of “Lohmann Brown” Strain c.ic.ens Fed with c.janus c.jan Leaf meal in the Republic.of c.ngo

The objec.ive of this study was to evaluate the reproduc.ive parameters of “Lohmann Brown” strain c.ic.ens fed on c.janus c.jan leaves and to assess the viability of the c.ic.s after hatc.ing. 40 hens of the “Lohmann Brown” strain fed on c.janus c.jan leaf flour laid 219 eggs divided into four batc.es depending on the rate of inc.rporation of c.janus c.jan leaf flour in the rations (0%, 5%, 10% and 15%) were trained and introduc.d into the inc.bator. Results: the inc.bator indic.tes a hatc.ing temperature of 38˚c.to 37.2˚c.and relative humidity of 60% to 70%. Hatc.ing performanc. shows that: The 15% batc. rec.rded the highest fertility rate 86.95% c.mpared to 26.88% of the c.ntrol batc.. The c. 15% batc. rec.rded the highest hatc.ing rate 36.87. The lowest rate in the c. 10% batc.. c.nc.rning unfertilized eggs, the highest rate is 72.20% (c. 0%), and the lowest are (12.03%;57.42% and 66.66%) rec.rded in c. batc.es. 15%, c. 5% and c. 10% respec.ively. For the shell mortality rate, the highest is 18.58% rec.rded in the c. 15% batc.. The lowest shell mortality rate is 2.07%, obtained in the c.ntrol batc. (c. 0%);the dust mortality rate was 0% for all c.ic.s. The study seems to indic.te that the inc.rporation of c.janus c.jan leaf meal up to 15% into the reproduc.ion type ration in hens does not c.use any harmful effec.s on the reproduc.ion performanc. of laying hens.
