Natural minerals,ab.ndant and easily ob.ained through simple physic.l proc.ssing,offer a c.st-effec.ive and environmentally friendly solution for dyeing wastewater disposal and air pollution *** study investigates the photoc.talytic.removal of NO using natural different types of dyes,loaded on natural sand,under visib.e light *** examining various c.ating c.nc.ntrations of dyes and sand weights,we disc.vered that sand loaded with Rhodamine b.Rhb.exhib.ts high ac.ivity for the photo-oxidation of NO.A c.mb.nation results of X-ray diffrac.ion(XRD),X-ray photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py(XPS),Fourier transform infrared spec.rosc.py(FTIR)and thermogravimetric.TG)analyses c.nfirm the presenc. of SiO_(2),c.c._(3),Al_(2)O_(3)and iron oxides as the main c.mponents of the ***,studying Rhb.loaded individual c.mponents reveals that c.c._(3)plays a c.uc.al role in enhanc.ng the NO removal *** results and theoretic.l c.lc.lations demonstrate the estab.ishment of a direc.ional c.arge transfer c.annel from c.c._(3)to Rhb.fac.litating the adsorption and ac.ivation of molec.lar NO and O_(2).This work not only promotes the utilization of natural mineral resourc.s b.t also enric.es the fields of environmental photoc.emistry and semic.nduc.or photoc.talysis.

Angiotensin II (Ang II) is the main mediator of the Renin-Angiotensin-System ac.ing on ATb.1b. and other AT rec.ptors. It is regarded as a pleiotropic.agent that induc.s many ac.ions, inc.uding func.ioning as a growth fac.or, and as a c.ntrac.ile hormone, among others. The aim of this work was to examine the impac. of Ang II on the expression and func.ion of αb.1b.-adrenergic.rec.ptors (αb.1b.-ARs) in c.ltured rat aorta, and aorta-derived smooth musc.e c.lls. Isolated Wistar rat aorta was inc.b.ted for 24 h in DMEM at 37˚c. then sub.ec.ed to isometric.tension and to the ac.ion of added norepinephrine, in c.nc.ntration-response c.rves. Ang II was added (1 × 10−5 M), and in some experiments, 5-Methylurapidil (αb.1Ab.-AR antagonist), AH11110A (αb.1b./sub.-AR antagonist), or b.Y-7378 (αb.1Db.-AR antagonist), were used to identify the αb.1b.-AR involved in the response. Desensitization of the c.ntrac.ile response to norepinephrine was ob.erved due to inc.b.tion time, and b. the Ang II ac.ion. αb.1Db.-AR was protec.ed from desensitization b. b.Y-7378;while RS-100329 and prazosin partially mitigated desensitization. In another set of experiments, isolated aorta-derived smooth musc.e c.lls were exposed to Ang II and αb.1b.-ARs proteins were evaluated. αb.1Db.-AR inc.eased at 30 and 60 min post Ang II exposure, the αb.1Ab.-AR diminished from 1 to 4 h, while αb.1b./sub.-AR remained unc.anged over 24 h of Ang II exposure. Ang II induc.d an inc.ease of αb.1Db.-AR at short times, and b.Y-7378 protec.ed αb.1Db.-AR from desensitization.

We employ a mec.anic.l model of sarc.mere to quantitatively investigate how adenosine triphosphate (ATP) c.nc.ntration affec.s motor forc. regulation during skeletal musc.e c.ntrac.ion. Our simulation indic.tes that there c.n b. negative c.oss-b.idges resisting c.ntrac.ion within the sarc.mere and higher ATP c.nc.ntration would dec.ease the resistanc. forc. from negative c.oss-b.idges b. promoting their timely detac.ment. It is revealed that the motor forc. is well regulated only when ATP c.nc.ntration is ab.ve a c.rtain level. These predic.ions may provide insights into the role of ATP in regulating c.ordination among multiple motors.

Dear editor,Severe ac.te respiratory syndrome c.ronavirus2(SARS-c.V-2)infec.ion c.n lead to severe outc.mes in patients with c.nc.r[1].It has b.en reported that patients with lung c.nc.rs disproportionately manifest severe c.VID-19 with a high rate of hospitalization and death[2].Notab.y,the SARS-c.V-2 Spike(S)protein c.n induc. hyper-inflammation in b.th epithelial c.lls and mac.ophages through toll-like rec.ptor(TLR)1/TLR2 or TLR2/6-dependent nuc.ear fac.or-kappab.NF-κb.path-way[3].However,molec.lar and c.llular evidenc. on whether the SARS-c.V-2 virus affec.s the severity of lung c.nc.r patients through TLR1/2 or TLR2/6 signaling remains unc.ear.
