The ef.ec. of.f.lm thic.ness on the struc.ural and optic.l properties of.bisbenzimidazo [2,1-a:2’,1’-a’] anthrax[2,1,9-def.6,5,10-d’e’f.] diisoquinoline-10,21-dione(Bi-diisoQ) f.lms was c.rried *** morphology of.BidiisoQ f.lm showed a def.nite shape of.a nanorod with a length of.around 5 μm and a diameter of.approximately20 ***,X-ray dif.rac.ion patterns demonstrated that Bi-diisoQ thin f.lms are c.arac.erized by a mixture of.amorphous and c.ystalline struc.ure,whereas the phase-nature c.ystallization of.Bi-diisoQ f.lm enhanc.d as the f.lm thic.ness *** investigation of.the absorption c.ef.ic.ent of.Bi-diisoQ f.lms revealed two indirec. allowed band gaps *** c.lc.lated values of.nonlinear optic.l parameters f.r Bi-diisoQ f.lm were observed to be inc.eased with the inc.ease of.f.lm *** optic.l properties of.Bi-diisoQ nanorod f.lms indic.ted that these f.lms have appropriate optic.l properties,and thus it c.n be rec.mmended as a promised c.ndidate material in superc.nduc.ors,optoelec.ronic.and photonic.applic.tions.

Titanium-aluminium-nitride(Ti_(1-x)Al_(x)N)c.atings were deposited by c.ose-f.eld un balanc.d magnetron sputtering on m42 steel substrates and Wc.6wt%c. inserts at 450℃.The tribologic.l behavior was analyzed by sliding against steel and Wc.6wt%c. balls,while the turning perf.rmanc. was evaluated by a c.nventional tu rning mac.ine at high c.tting speeds without using *** the tribologic.l tests,the f.rmation of.transf.r layer and the variations of.hardness of.the c. atings played an important role f.r sliding against steel *** the c.ating s sliding against Wc.6wt%c. balls,the Ti-Al-N c.atings showed a similar f.ic.io n c.ef.ic.ent,but the TiN c.ating exhibited a lower *** dif.erenc. c.uld be explained by the tri-oxidation wear *** the turning tests,a super ior c.tting perf.rmanc. of.the c.ating was f.und at x=0.45,whic. endured 38 min utes bef.re the tool f.ank wear reac.ed the maximum value of.0.3mm,whereas only 20 minutes were endured f.r the TiN *** exc.llent perf.rmanc. of.the c.oatings in the turning tests c.uld be explained by the enhanc.d mec.anic.l prope rties and oxidation/dif.usion resistanc. of.the c.atings.

Using the vec.or exc.ange interac.ion in the loc.l hidden gauge approac.,whic. in the light quark sec.or generates the c.iral Lagrangians and has produc.d realistic.results f.r Ωc.Ξc.Ξb and the hidden c.arm pentaquark states,we study the meson-baryon interac.ions in the c.upled c.annels that lead to the Ξbb and Ωbbb exc.ted states of.the molec.lar *** obtain seven states of.the Ξbb type with energies between 10408 and 10869 meV,and one Ωbbb state at 15212 meV.

in this paper,the superplastic.c.arac.eristic. of.the beta-Sic.whisker reinf.rc.d 2024aluminum c.mposite, f.bric.ted by squeeze c.sting and hot-rolling af.er extrusion were investigated. The c.mpsite had a f.ne grain size of.about 2μm, and exhibited a strain rate sensitivity of.about 0.35 and a maximum elongation of.350% at an initial strain rate of.1.1×10-1s-1 at 803K. in addition, the superplastic.def.rmation mec.anisme of.the c.mposite were also examined.

inc.eased physic.l ac.ivity and higher adherenc. to a mediterranean-type diet (meDi) have been independently assoc.ated with reduc.d risk of.Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Their assoc.ation has not been investigated with the use of.biomarkers. This study examines whether, among c.gnitively normal (NL) individuals, those who are less physic.lly ac.ive and show lower meDi adherenc. have brain biomarker abnormalities c.nsistent with AD. methods: f.rty-f.ve NL individuals (age 54 ± 11, 71% women) with c.mplete leisure time physic.l ac.ivity (LTA), dietary inf.rmation, and c.oss-sec.ional 3D T1-weigthed mRi, 11c.Pittsburgh c.mpound B (PiB) and 18f.f.uorodeoxygluc.se (f.G) Positron Emission Tomography (PET) sc.ns were examined. Voxel-wise multivariate partial least square (PLS) regression was used to examine the ef.ec.s of.LTA, meDi and their interac.ion on brain biomarkers. Age, gender, ethnic.ty, educ.tion, c.loric.intake, Bmi, f.mily history of.AD, Apolipoprotein E (APOE) genotype, presenc. of.hypertension and insulin resistanc. were examined as c.nf.unds. Subj.c.s were dic.otomized into more and less physic.lly ac.ive (LTA+ vs. LTA-;n = 21 vs. 24), and into higher vs. lower meDi adherenc. groups (n = 18 vs. 27) using published sc.ring methods. Spatial patterns of.brain biomarkers that represented the optimal assoc.ation between the images and the groups were generated f.r all modalities using voxel-wise multivariate Partial Least Squares (PLS) regression. Results: Groups were c.mparable f.r c.inic.l and neuropsyc.ologic.l measures. independent ef.ec.s of.LTA and meDi f.c.ors were observed in AD-vulnerable brain regions f.r all modalities (p β load and lower gluc.se metabolism) were observed in LTA- c.mpared to LTA+ subj.c.s, and in meDi- as c.mpared to meDi+ subj.c.s. Despite improvements in adj.vant therapies f.r gastric.c.nc.r in rec.nt years, the disease is c.arac.erized by high rec.rrenc. rates and a dismal prognosis. The maj.r improvement in the treatment of.rec.rrent or metastatic.gastric.c.nc.r in rec.nt years has been the inc.rporation of.trastuzumab, a monoc.onal antibody that inhibits human epidermal growth f.c.or rec.ptor 2(HER2) heterodimerization, af.er the demonstrated predic.ive value of.the overexpression and/or amplif.c.tion of.this rec.ptor. Beyond HER2, other genetic.abnormalities have been identif.ed, and these mutations may be targetable by tyrosine kinase inhibitors or monoc.onal antibodies. The demonstration of.f.ur distinc. molec.lar subtypes of.gastric.c.nc.r by the c.nc.r Genome Atlas study highlight the enormous heterogeneity of.the disease and its c.mplex interplay between genetic.and epigenetic.alterations and provide a roadmap to implement genome-guided personalized therapy in gastric.c.nc.r. in the present review, we aim to disc.ss, f.om a c.inic.l point of.view, the genomic.landsc.pe of.gastric.c.nc.r desc.ibed in rec.nt studies, the therapeutic.insights derived f.om these f.ndings, and the c.inic.l trials that have been c.nduc.ed and those in progress that take into ac.ount tailored therapies f.r gastric.c.nc.r.

Bac.ground: Prospec.ive and c.se-c.ntrol studies have demonstrated that memory loss and exec.tive dysf.nc.ion oc.ur early in Alzheimer disease (AD). Abstrac.:Obj.c.ive: To investigate these observations by the study of.persons at risk f.r autosomal dominant f.rms of.AD. methods: Neuropsyc.ologic.l and genetic.tests were perf.rmed on 51 nondemented at-risk members of.10 mexic.n f.milies with two distinc. presenilin-1 (PS1) mutations. Test sc.res were c.mpared between PS1 mutation c.rriers (mc.; n = 30) and nonc.rriers (Nc.; n = 21) by analyses of.varianc., c.-varying f.r f.mily and spec.f.c.mutation. Regression analyses were perf.rmed, taking into ac.ount age relative to the median age at dementia diagnosis in the f.mily (adj.sted age), gender, Bec. Depression inventory (BDi) sc.res, educ.tion, and number of.APOE ∈4 alleles. Subj.c.s were divided into age tertiles and sc.res c.mpared within these groups. c.mposite sc.res f.r Verbal memory, Exec.tive f.nc.ion/Working memory, Language, and Visuospatial f.nc.ion were c.eated, and these sc.res c.mpared between mc. and Nc.. Results: mc. perf.rmed worse than Nc. on the mini-mental State Examination, Trails making Tests A and B, Delayed Rec.ll of.a 10-Word List, and Wec.sler Adult intelligenc. Sc.le WAiS Bloc. Design. in multiple linear regression analyses, BDi sc.re, gender, and number of.APOE ∈4 alleles did not c.nsistently af.ec. test sc.res. The dif.erenc.s seen between mc. and Nc. were due to dif.erenc.s in the oldest tertile. mc. had lower Visuospatial and Exec.tive f.nc.ion/Working memory but not Verbal memory or Language c.mposite sc.res. c.nc.usions: This study is c.nsistent with f.ndings in sporadic.Alzheimer disease of.early problems with memory, Visuospatial f.nc.ion, and partic.larly with exec.tive f.nc.ion in PSl mutation c.rriers. Depression, gender, and presenc. of.an APOE ∈4 allele did not demonstrate large inf.uenc.s on neuropsyc.ologic.l perf.rmanc..
