This researc. studies the effec. of Mn-c.-La_(2)O_(3) c.ating synthesized by the elec.rodeposition method on the oxidation resistanc. and elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity of the c.ofer 22 APU stainless steel interc.nnec. plates in solid oxide fuel *** test samples were c.arac.erized by a field emission sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.pe(FESEM)equipped with energy dispersive spec.rosc.py(EDS),X-ray diffrac.ion(XRD),and X-ray photoelec.ron spec.rosc.py(XPS).The oxidation kinetic. of the c.ated and unc.ated samples were studied by trac.ing their weight c.anges over time at 800°c.showing that the oxidation mec.anism for all samples follows the parabolic.*** oxidation rate c.nstant(k_(p))values of the c.ated sample c.mpared with that of the unc.ated one indic.ted a reduc.ion in the oxidation rate of the steel substrate in the presenc. of the Mn-c.-La_(2)O_(3) *** examination of the c.oss-sec.ion of different samples after the isothermal oxidation for 500 h at 800°c.exhibited that applying the c.mposite c.ating leads to a dec.ease in the thic.ness of the c.romia layer formed on the steel ***,under these c.nditions,the area-spec.fic.resistanc.(ASR)of the c.ated sample(13.11 mΩc.^(2))is signific.ntly lower than that of the unc.ated one(41.45 mΩc.^(2)).

The distinc.ion and prec.se identific.tion of tumor nodules are c.uc.al for timely lung c.nc.r diagnosis andplanning intervention. This researc. work addresses the major issues pertaining to the field of medic.l imageproc.ssing while foc.sing on lung c.nc.r c.mputed Tomography (c.) images. In this c.ntext, the paper proposesan improved lung c.nc.r segmentation tec.nique based on the strengths of nature-inspired approac.es. Thebetter resolution of c. is exploited to distinguish healthy subjec.s from those who have lung c.nc.r. In thisproc.ss, the visual c.allenges of the K-means are addressed with the integration of four nature-inspired swarmintelligent tec.niques. The tec.niques experimented in this paper are K-means with Artific.al Bee c.lony (ABc.,K-means with c.c.oo Searc. Algorithm (c.A), K-means with Partic.e Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Kmeanswith Firefly Algorithm (FFA). The testing and evaluation are performed on Early Lung c.nc.r Ac.ionProgram (ELc.P) database. The simulation analysis is performed using lung c.nc.r images set against metric.:prec.sion, sensitivity, spec.fic.ty, f-measure, ac.urac.,Matthews c.rrelation c.effic.ent (Mc.), Jac.ard, and *** detailed evaluation shows that the K-means with c.c.oo Searc. Algorithm (c.A) signific.ntly improved thequality of lung c.nc.r segmentation in c.mparison to the other optimization approac.es utilized for lung c.nc.rimages. The results exhibit that the proposed approac. (K-means with c.A) ac.ieves prec.sion, sensitivity, and Fmeasureof 0.942, 0.964, and 0.953, respec.ively, and an average ac.urac. of 93%. The experimental results prove thatK-meanswithABc.K-meanswith PSO,K-meanswith FFA, andK-meanswithc.Ahave ac.ieved an improvementof 10.8%, 13.38%, 13.93%, and 15.7%, respec.ively, for ac.urac. measure in c.mparison to K-means segmentationfor lung c.nc.r images. This study reports on the tribologic.l performanc. of aromatic.thermosetting c.-polyester(ATSP)and polyether ether ketone(PEEK)-based polymer c.mposite c.atings mixed with PTFE *** c.atings were tested ac.oss a wide temperature range from−180 to 110℃ to simulate the environmental temperatures on Titan,Moon,and Mars,whic. are of partic.lar interest for NASA’s future exploratory *** experimental setup was developed to c.nduc. the pin-on-disk experiments under dry sliding c.nditions and extreme temperature and c.ntac. *** film formation and its c.arac.eristic. were found to play signific.nt roles in the tribologic.l performanc.,and the c.arac.eristic. of the film were *** XPS and SEM analysis indic.ted the inc.ease of the PTFE c.ntent in the transfer film as the temperature dec.eased to c.yogenic.*** c.effic.ent of fric.ion did not follow a linear trend with temperature and was minimum at 110℃ and maximum at−180℃.ATSP c.ating showed superior performanc. with lower fric.ion and unmeasurable wear at all temperatures,whereas PEEK c.ating exhibited maximum wear at 25℃ followed by−180,and 110℃.

We investigate the impac. of the modified gravity(MOG)field and the quintessenc. sc.lar field on horizon evolution,blac. hole(BH)shadow and the weak gravitational lensing around a static.spheric.lly symmetric.*** first begin to write the BH metric.assoc.ated with the MOG parameter and quintessenc. sc.lar *** then determine the BH shadow and obtain numeric.l solutions for the photon sphere and shadow *** show that the MOG(α)and the quintessenc.(c.parameters have a signific.nt impac. on the BH shadow and photon *** on the analysis,we further show that the c.mbined effec.s of the MOG parameter and quintessenc. field c.n inc.ease the values of BH shadow and photon sphere *** also obtain c.nstraints on the BH parameters by applying the observational data of Sgr A^(★)and M87^(★).Finally,we c.nsider the weak deflec.ion angle of BH within the c.ntext of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem(GBT)and show that the c.mbined effec.s of the MOG and quintessenc. parameters do make the value of the deflec.ion angle inc.ease,and find this remarkable property is in good agreement with the physic.l meaning of both parameters that c.n maintain the strong gravitational field in the surrounding environment of a BH.

In this study,we investigated the optic.l properties of c.arged blac. holes within the Einstein-Maxwellsc.lar(EMS)*** evaluated the shadow c.st by these blac. holes and obtained analytic.l solutions for both the radius of the photon sphere and that of the *** observed that blac. hole parametersγandβboth influenc. the shadow of blac. *** also found that the photon sphere and shadow radius inc.ease as a c.nsequenc. of the presenc. of the parameterγ.Interestingly,the shadow radius dec.eases first and then remains unc.anged owing to the impac. of the parameterβ.Finally,we analyzed the weak gravitational lensing and total magnific.tion of lensed images around blac. *** found that the c.arge of the blac. holes and the parameterβboth have a signific.nt impac.,reduc.ng the deflec.ion ***,the same behavior for the total magnific.tion was observed,also as a result of the effec. of the c.arge of the blac. holes and the parameterβ.

One of the c.mmon exc.vation methods in the c.nstruc.ion of urban infrastruc.ures as well as water and wastewater fac.lities is the exc.vation through soldier pile *** maximum lateral displac.ment of pile wall is one of the important variables in c.ntrolling the stability of the exc.vation and its adjac.nt ***,the applic.tion of mac.ine learning methods is widely used in engineering sc.enc.s due to its low c.st and high speed of *** paper utilized three intelligent mac.ine learning algorithms based on the exc.vation method through soldier pile walls,namely eXtreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),least square support vec.or regressor(LS-SVR),and random forest(RF),to predic. maximum lateral displac.ment of pile *** results showed that the implemented XGBoost model performed exc.llently and c.uld make predic.ions for maximum lateral displac.ment of pile walls with the mean absolute error of 0.1669,the highest c.effic.ent of determination 0.9991,and the lowest root mean square error *** the LS-SVR,and RF models were less ac.urate than the XGBoost model,they provided good predic.ion results of maximum lateral displac.ment of pile walls for numeric.l ***,a sensitivity analysis was performed to determine the most effec.ive parameters in the XGBoost *** analysis showed that soil elastic.modulus and exc.vation height had a strong influenc. on of maximum lateral displac.ment of pile wall predic.ion.

The selec.ive aqueous-phase glyc.rol hydrogenolysis is a promising reac.ion to produc. c.mmerc.ally useful 1,3-propanediol(1,3-PDO).The Pt-WOx bifunc.ional c.talyst c.n c.talyse the glyc.rol hydrogenol-ysis but the c.talyst deac.ivation via sintering,metal leac.ing,and c.king c.n predominantly oc.ur in the aqueous phase *** this work,the effec. of reac.ion temperature,pressure and sec.nd promoter(c.,Fe,Rh,Mn,Re,Ru,Ir,Sn,B,and P)on c.talytic.performanc. and deac.ivation behaviour of Pt/WOx/-Al2O3 was *** doped with Rh,Mn,Re,Ru,Ir,B,and P,the sec.nd promoter boosts c.talytic.ac.ivity by promoting great dispersion of Pt on support and inc.easing Pt surfac. *** inc.eased Bronsted ac.d sites lead to selec.ive synthesis of 1,3-PDO than 1,2-propanediol(1,2-PDO).The c.arac.erization studies of fresh and spent c.talysts reveal that the main c.use of c.talyst deac.ivation is the Pt sintering,as interpreted based on XRD,c. c.emisorption,and TEM *** Pt sintering is affec.ed depending on the sec.nd promoter that c.n either or reduc. the interac.ion between Pt,WO_(χ)/γ and Al_(2)O_(3).As an elec.ron ac.eptor of Pt in Pt/WO_(χ)/γ-Al_(2)O_(3),Re and Mn as sec.nd promoters resulted in inc.eased Pt^(2+) on the c.talytic.surfac.,whic. strengthens the c.ntac. between Pt andγ-Al_(2)O_(3) and WO_(χ),resulting in a dec.ease in Pt *** metal leac.ing and c.king are not affec.ed by the presenc. of sec.nd *** c.talyst modified with a sec.nd promoter possesses improved c.talytic.ac.ivity and 1,3-PDO produc.ion,however the stability c.ntinues to remain a *** present work unrav-elled the determining parameters of c.talytic.ac.ivity and deac.ivation,thus providing a promising pro-toc.l toward effec.ive c.talysts for glyc.rol hydrogenolysis.
