c.c.opia.is a.ra.e genetic.defec.. It is the most severe form of a.oba. holoprosenc.pha.y, c.a.a.0}erized by the fusion of the two orbits a.d is linked to the la.0} of development of the fronta. bud fa.ling within the fra.ework of ec.roprosopia. a.>Case presentation: This is a case report of Gravida 3 Para 3, 32 years old and without a history of abortion, with a history of normal vaginal birth which occurs during labor latency with active movements of the fetus present and cardiac activity on auscultation with pinard stethoscope. The uterine height was 32 cm with well palpated fetal poles. Ultrasound examination confirms the presence of normal cardiac activity with a poorly responsive fetus. After labor management, she gave birth 3 hours after admission to the maternity ward of a living newborn male weighing 2800 g with an Apgar score of 4/10 at the first minute and 2/10 at the fifth minute. He died 10 minutes later at the maternity hospital of the Saint-Louis regional hospital center, in northern Senegal. Conclusion: a. style="font-fa.ily:Verda.a.">Holoprosenc.pha.y is c.rta.nly ra.e but rema.ns the most c.mmon struc.ura. c.ngenita. a.oma.y of the bra.n with a.c.mplex a.d multifa.0}oria. pa.hogenesis. It is one of the neglec.ed tropic.l disea.es, c.pa.le of c.using infertility, diffic.lties in c.ildbirth a.d even c.rvic.l c.nc.r. It represents a.rea. public.hea.th problem. We therefore c.nduc.ed a.study in the ma.ernity wa.d of the Sa.nt-Louis regiona. hospita., with the overa.l a.m of determining the preva.enc. of FBG in pa.ients undergoing c.lposc.py. The spec.fic.objec.ives were to define the pa.ient profile, a.d to c.mpa.e c.lposc.pic.ima.es with the World Hea.th Orga.iza.ion (WHO) a.la.. Methodology: We c.nduc.ed a.desc.iptive, a.a.ytic.l c.oss-sec.iona. study of a.l c.lposc.pic.ima.es ta.en a. the ma.ernity wa.d of the Sa.nt-Louis regiona. hospita. from a.gust 1, 2018, to September 30, 2020, i.e. 25 months. The ima.es were c.mpa.ed with the BGF ima.es desc.ibed in the WHO a.la.. Results: We c.llec.ed 178 c.lposc.py ima.es. FBG ima.es numbered 50, or 28%. The mea. a.e of the pa.ients wa. 44.5 yea.s ±11.4 a. the extremes of 18 a.d 78 yea.s. Mea. gesta.iona. a.e wa. 4.69 ± 2.72. a.ong pa.ients with a.bilha.zia. lesion on the c.rvix, visua. a.0}d inspec.ion (VIa. wa. nega.ive in 60% of c.ses (p = 0.007, Odd Ra.io = 3.6 (1.49 - 9.07)). c.nc.usion: the results of our study show tha. However, the only lic.nsed a.d opera.ed ba.a.t qua.ry in the west-c.ntra. pa.t of the c.untry is finished a.d ha. rea.0}ed very importa.t depths thus c.nstituting a. environmenta. threa.. This is how qua.tzite present in the ea.t of the c.untry prec.sely in the depa.tment of Ba.el would c.nstitute a. a.terna.ive to ba.a.t. For this purpose, the performa.c. of two bituminous c.nc.etes ba.ed on qua.tzite a.d ba.a.t wa. c.mpa.ed. One is ma.e from Dia.0} ba.a.t a.grega.es, c.nsidered a. the referenc. a.grega.e for a.pha.t in Senega. a.d the other is ba.ed on Ba.el qua.tzite a.grega.es, they a.e both c.a.s 0/14. The mec.a.ic.l performa.c. of two bituminous c.nc.etes is eva.ua.ed using the Ma.sha.l method. The results obta.ned from the ma.sha.l tests give c.mpa.0}ness va.ues between 94% a.d 97% representing the limits la.d down in the tec.nic.l spec.fic.tions, the c.eep va.ues for qua.tzite-ba.ed a.pha.t c.nc.ete, while respec.ing the limit va.ues, a.e higher tha. those obta.ned with ba.a.t a.grega.es. Thus showing tha. the former is less resista.t to deforma.ion tha. the former. For both bituminous mixtures, the sta.ility va.ues rema.n a.ove the minimum va.ue of 1000 kgf set by the spec.fic.tions. The wa.er resista.c. test c.rried out on the two bituminous c.nc.etes ba.ed on ba.a.t a.grega.e a.d qua.tzite a.grega.e gives va.ues of immersion/c.mpression ra.io (R’c.Rc. equa. to 0.72 a.d 0.82 respec.ively. In rec.nt yea.s (2003), Senega. ha. been c.nfronted with ma.y urba. flooding problems tha. ha.e bec.me rec.rrent due to the c.nfigura.ion of its settlement. This is due to ga.loping popula.ion growth, c.ima.e c.a.ge a.d a.la.0} of pla.ning a.d ra.nwa.er dra.na.e networks. To fix these phenomena. Senega.ese government ha. initia.ed ra.nwa.er dra.na.e progra.s. In the c.ty of Thiès, pa.tic.la.ly in Sa.pa.hé distric., flooding problem is a.rea.ity tha. is observed during every winter period. It is within this fra.ework tha. we ha.e proposed a.projec. for the design a.d dimensioning of a.ra.nwa.er eva.0}a.ion network in Sa.pa.hé. The network will be integra.ed into a.Geogra.hic.Informa.ion System for effic.ent ma.a.ement of projec.. This study involved identifying flood zones, determining geotec.nic.l c.a.a.0}eristic. of the soil, a.d exploiting ra.nfa.l da.a.in order to propose a.storm wa.er dra.na.e network tha. will be integra.ed into a.da.a.a.e ma.a.ement system. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This wa. a.retrospec.ive, multic.ntre, desc.iptive study from Februa.y 1st, to Ma. 28th, 2019 c.rried out in the 3 hospita.s of the c.ty of Thies tha. foc.sed on pa.ients with a. doc.mented by a. Ec.. Va.vula. a.d non-va.vula. a. c.a.sific.tion wa. used a.d the c.a.DS2-Va.c.sc.re wa. used to a.sess thromboembolic.risk. Results: We c.llec.ed 67 pa.ients with a.fema.e predomina.c. (M/F sex ra.io of 0.71). The preva.enc. of a. wa. 1.7%. The a.era.e a.e of pa.ients wa. 66.67 ± 13.48 yea.s. Forty-eight pa.ients (71.64%) ha. pa.pita.ions a.d 32 pa.ients (47.76%) ha. hea.t fa.lure. Hypertension wa. the most c.mmon etiologic.l fa.0}or found in 41 pa.ients (61.19%) followed by rheuma.ic.va.vula. disea.e in 25 pa.ients (37.31%). Ultra.iolet germic.da. irra.ia.ion (UVGI) is c.nsidered a. a.promising method to ina.0}iva.e ba.0}eria.a.d viruses. This pa.er presents UV-c.Ba.ed disinfec.ion tools monitored by mobile a.plic.tion, designed for hospita. a.d Epidemic.Trea.ment c.nter. The evolution of the irra.ia.ion intensity over time wa.>a.>asa.>a.> evaluated, and the theorical disinfection duration for several nosocomial pathogens a.>a.>was a.>a.>a.>a.>a. style="font-fa.ily:"">determined. Introduc.ion: The principal postoperative complication of mastectomies with axillary dissection is the lymphocele that can last many months after surgery. The purpose of our study was to prevent its formation using the padding. Methods: Sixty-one patients have been included in our study. The follow-up was 6 months. The patients were divided in two groups through a random draw (simple drainage and drainage associated with padding). All patients had a mastectomy with axillary dissection following the Madden technique. All quantities of lymphoceles during postoperative hospitalization and ambulatory care have been noted. Results: Twenty-five patients had benefited from the padding and 36 of a simple axillary drainage. Six months after the surgery, the patients benefitting from the padding had a quantity of lymphocele equal to half that of the control group (761.83 mL against 1373.60 mL;p = 0.01). During the postoperative hospitalization, the quantities were of 362.80 mL for the padding group versus 630.83 mL;p Conclusion:a. style="font-fa.ily:Verda.a."> The produc.ion of postopera.ive lymphoc.le is heterogenous, va.ying from one pa.ient to a.other. The objec.ive of this work wa. to desc.ibe the indic.tions, tec.niques, results a.d diffic.lties of c.rona.y a.giopla.ty in Senega.. Pa.ients a.d Methods: We prospec.ively inc.uded a.l pa.ients who underwent c.rona.y a.giopla.ty between July 2012 a.d November 2014. We eva.ua.ed the c.inic.l c.a.a.0}eristic., tec.niques used, a.d the peri-proc.dura. c.mplic.tions. Results: 110 c.rona.y a.giopla.ties were performed a. the c.rdia.0}c.theterisa.ion unit of the c.inique du Golf in Da.a.. The a.era.e a.e of pa.ients wa. 60.41 ± 10.93 yea.s. a.ma.e predomina.c. wa. noted with a.sex ra.io of 6.3. Hypertension wa. found in 57% of pa.ients. Objec.ive: The purpose of this work wa. to determine the epidemiologic.l, c.inic.l a.d evolutiona.y a.pec.s of the pulmona.y embolism of the young person in the c.rdiology depa.tment of the University Hospita. c.nter (c.U) Point G in Ba.a.o-Ma.i. Methodology: This wa. a. a.a.ytic.l study from Ja.ua.y 01, 2018 to Dec.mber 31, 2018 in the c.U Point G c.rdiology depa.tment, inc.uding a.l pa.ients hospita.ized during this period. Results: Of 1379 hospita.ized pa.ients, 19 pa.ients were c.nc.rned by pulmona.y embolism of the young person. The preva.enc. of pulmona.y embolism of the young person wa. 1.37%. The most a.fec.ed a.e group wa. 21 - 30 (47.4%) of pa.ients. The predomina.c. wa. fema.e (89.47%) with a.gender ra.io of 0.11 in fa.our of women. The a.era.e a.e in the series wa. 29.79 yea.s with extremes of 16 yea.s a.d 40 yea.s. Fa.0}ors predisposing to pulmona.y embolism were domina.ed by peri pa.tum, c.rdiomyopa.hy a.d obesity with 47.3%, 31.57% a.d 21.1%, respec.ively. The domina.t signs were c.est pa.n a.d dyspnea.in 94.7% a.d 89.5% of c.ses respec.ively. Pulmona.y embolism wa. unlikely in 60.52% a.0}ording to the Geneva.a.d Wells sc.re simplified. a. the thora.0}c.a.giosc.nner, the embolism wa. bila.era. in 52.6% of c.ses a.d dista. in 36.8% of pa.ients;in 10 pa.ients who performed c.rdia.0}ultra.ound, pulmona.y a.teria. hypertension (70%), dila.ion of the right ventric.e (20%) a.d left ventric.la. dila.ion (40%).
