cucr25 alloys containing different Ni content were prepared by vacuum induction melting (VIM). The micro structure and properties were tested. The results show that with the increase of Ni content in cucr25 alloys, the cr phase changed from developed dendrite into nodular grains and was drastically refined; the electrical conductivity significantly decrease, but still reach the level of conventional cucr50 when the Ni content is below 0.5%. The Ni content had little influence on their breakdown strength. The first breakdown sites transferred to the boundary of cu and cr phase for cucr25Ni compared to the cr phase for cucr25 without Ni.

Lattice constants, total energies, and densities of state of transition metals co, Rh, and Ir in the VⅢB group with different crystalline structures were calculated via generalized gradient approximation （GGA） of the total energy plane wave pseudopotential method in first-principles. The lattice stabilities of Rh and Ir are ΔG^ bcc-hcp 〉 Δ G^fcc-hcp 〉 0, agreeing well with those of the projector augmented wave method in first-principles and the cALPHAD method in spite of elemental co. Analyses of the electronic structures to lattice stability show that crystalline Rh and Ir with fcc structures have the obvious characteristic of a stable phase, agreeing with the results of total energy calculations. Analyses of atomic populations show that the transition rate of electrons from the s state to the p or d state for hcp, fcc, and bcc crystals of co and Rh increases with the elemental period number to form a stronger cohesion, a higher cohesive energy, or a more stable lattice between atoms in heavier metals.

Exclusive responsiveness to ultraviolet light (~3.2 eV) and high photogenerated charge recombination rate are the two primary drawbacks of pure TiO_(2). We combined N-doped graphene quantum dots (N-GQDs), morphology regulation, and heterojunction construction strategies to synthesize N-GQD/N-doped TiO_(2)/P-doped porous hollow g-c_(3)N_(4) nanotube (PcN) composite photocatalysts (denoted as G-TPcN). The optimal sample (G-TPcN doped with 0.1wt% N-GQD, denoted as 0.1% G-TPcN) exhibits significantly enhanced photoabsorption, which is attributed to the change in bandgap caused by elemental doping (P and N), the improved light-harvesting resulting from the tube structure, and the upconversion effect of N-GQDs. In addition, the internal charge separation and transfer capability of0.1% G-TPcN are dramatically boosted, and its carrier concentration is 3.7, 2.3, and 1.9 times that of N-TiO_(2), PcN, and N-TiO_(2)/PcN(TPcN-1), respectively. This phenomenon is attributed to the formation of Z-scheme heterojunction between N-TiO_(2) and PcNs, the excellent electron conduction ability of N-GQDs, and the short transfer distance caused by the porous nanotube structure. compared with those of N-TiO_(2), PcNs, and TPcN-1, the H2 production activity of 0.1%G-TPcN under visible light is enhanced by 12.4, 2.3, and 1.4times, respectively, and its ciprofloxacin (cIP) degradation rate is increased by 7.9, 5.7, and 2.9 times, respectively. The optimized performance benefits from excellent photoresponsiveness and improved carrier separation and migration efficiencies. Finally, the photocatalytic mechanism of 0.1% G-TPcN and five possible degradation pathways of cIP are proposed. This study clarifies the mechanism of multiple modification strategies to synergistically improve the photocatalytic performance of 0.1% G-TPcN and provides a potential strategy for rationally designing novel photocatalysts for environmental remediation and solar energy conversion.

A boundary mode localized on one side of a finite-size lattice can tunnel to the opposite side which results in unwanted *** wisdom tells that the tunneling probability decays exponentially with the size of the system which thus requires many lattice sites before eventually becoming negligibly *** we show that the tunneling probability for some boundary modes can apparently vanish at specific ***,similar to bound states in the continuum,a boundary mode can be completely trapped within very few lattice sites where the bulk bandgap is not even *** intriguingly,the number of trapped states equals the number of lattice sites along the normal direction of the *** provide two configurations and validate the existence of this peculiar finite barrier-bound state experimentally in a dielectric photonic crystal at microwave *** work offers extreme flexibility in tuning the coupling between localized states and channels as well as a new mechanism that facilitates unprecedented manipulation of light.

Adoptive transfer cell therapies are a type of immunotherapy that attempts to train the patient’s intrinsic immune,resulting in cell-mediated responses on specific antigens to cure *** type of immunotherapy is much more effective and is proved to have greater efficacy and less adverse reactions,as compared to traditional ***,there are 3 major types of cell immunotherapies in research or in the clinic:dendritic cell（Dc） mediated,such as Provenge（?）（Dendreon/Valeant）,the only US FDA approved cell-based specific active immunotherapy medicine;B lymphocyte（Bc） mediated;and cAR-T *** adoptive transfer cell immunotherapy is considered less toxic than chemotherapy,major and serious adverse effects（SAEs）,such as cytokine release syndrome and virus infections are still existed in many clinical *** presentation tries to compare the major toxicities of these 3 types of adoptive transfer cell therapy and elucidates possibly mechanisms underlined these adverse effects.

ATP-binding cassette(ABc) transporters are found in all forms of life from microbes to humans, and transport a wide variety of substrates across the cell membrane using the energy released from ATP hydrolysis and an alternating-access mechanism. Msb A is a homodimeric ABc exporter from Gramnegative bacteria, and transports amphipathic substrates including precursors of lipopolysaccharides from the inner leaflet to the outer leaflet of the cytoplasmic membrane. Despite extensive structural and functional studies, controversies remain regarding the dynamic properties of the conformational changes of Msb A during its transport cycle in the lipid environment. Here, we used single-molecule fluorescence resonance energy transfer(sm FRET) to explore the dynamic behaviors of Msb A in detergent micelles, nanodiscs, and proteoliposomes. Msb A reconstituted into liposomes showed higher transition frequency between different states on the cytoplasmic side, whereas detergent-solubilized Msb A showed higher transition frequency on the periplasmic side. Three major states were identified from this sm FRET study in the functional cycle of Msb A, including an intermediate conformation between the fully opened and fully closed cytoplasmic conformations, associated with both ATP binding and hydrolysis.

The dislocation ledges at the α2/7 intedece in a hot-dejormed Ti-45Al-10N alloywere analyzed by high-resolution tmnsmission electron microscopy. A new type ofdislocation ledge containing 1/3[111] Frank partial was found. The height of the ledgestDas always three [111]γplanes. The Burpers vectore of these diBlocation ledges weredetermined to be 1/2[110] and 1/2corresponding to the 90 dey. and 30 *** partials at noral ledges, i.e. 90 dep. ShockIey Partial dislocation +1/3[111]Frank partial dislocation; and 30 deg. Shockley partial dislocation + 1/3[111] Frankparfial dislocations. The jormation mechanism of this new tare of dislocation ledgewas discussed.
