BACKGROUND family caregivers of cirrhosis patients(CPs)often experience burden,stress,and *** whether these conditions improve following the patient undergoing liver transplantation(LT)is crucial,as it would elucidate the compre-hensive benefits of the procedure and demonstrate the positive impacts not only on the patients but also on their caregivers and *** To compare the levels of burden,stress and depression among family caregivers of cirrhotic and liver transplant *** This cross-sectional observational study evaluated caregivers of CPs and LT recipients at a quaternary Brazilian *** included identification cards,interview scripts,the caregiver burden scale Inventory,Lipp’s Stress Symptom Inventory,and the Beck Depression Inventory-Second *** analyses involved confirmatory factor analysis and calculation of McDonald’s omega and composite *** scores were compared with the Mann-Whitney U test,with effect size as the rank-biserial correlation coefficient(r).Statistical analysis was performed with R software(Pfemale(CP:85.7%vs LT:84.6%)and the patients’spouses(76.6%vs 63.1%).The median age and caregiving duration were 55.4(23.3-76.3)vs 54.6(25.7-82.1)and 3.9(1-20)vs 8(1.5-24)years,respectively(P=0.001).LT caregivers were less likely to be at risk of overload(21.5%vs 49.4%),to be under stress(33.8%vs 36.4%)and to show symptoms of depression(15.4%vs 35.1%).Compared with LT caregivers,CP caregivers had greater median factor scores for burden(general tension,P=0.012;isolation,P=0.014;disappointment,P=0.004),depression(P=0.008),and stress(P=0.047),with small to moderate effect *** disappointment(r=0.240)and depression(r=0.225)dimensions had the largest effect *** family caregivers of LT recipients are less likely to exhibit symptoms of burden,stress,and depression,su

The intricate interplay between natural compounds like curcumin and the gut microbiome has gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential therapeutic implications in various health ***,a polyphenolic compound derived from turmeric,exhibits diverse pharmacological properties,including anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and anticancer *** how curcumin modulates gut microbiota composition and function is crucial for elucidating its therapeutic *** review examines the current literature on the interactions between curcumin and the gut microbiome.A systematic search of relevant databases was conducted to identify studies investigating the effects of curcumin on gut microbial diversity and *** findings from studies exploring curcumin's efficacy in neurological disorders,gastrointestinal diseases,and metabolic dysfunction are synthesized and *** have demonstrated that curcumin supplementation can modulate gut microbiota composition and function,leading to beneficial effects on gut health and *** underlying curcumin's therapeutic effects include immune modulation,neuroprotection,and inflammation ***,challenges such as poor bioavailability and safety concerns remain significant hurdles to *** interactions between curcumin and the gut microbiome hold promise for therapeutic interventions in a diverse range of health *** research is needed to optimize curcumin formulations,improve bioavailability,and address safety concerns.

friction stir welding （fSW） and stationary shoulder friction stir welding （SSfSW） were carried out for the butt joining of dissimilar AA2024-T3 and AA7050-T7651 aluminium alloys with thicknesses of 2 mm. A comparison between the two processes was performed by varying the welding speed while keeping the rotational speed constant, Through the analysis of the force and torque produced during welding and a simple analytical model, it was possible to show that in SSfSW there is more effective coupling with the tool and the heat produced is more efficiently distributed. This process decreases both the welding area and the diffusion at the interface of the two alloys compared with fSW. The minimum microhardness occurred at the advancing side （AS） at the interface between the thermo-mechanically affected zone （TMAZ） and the stir zone （SZ） in both processes, although the decrease was more gradual in SSfSW. This interface is also where all specimens failed for both welding technologies. An increase in tensile strength was measured in SSfSW compared with standard fSW. furthermore, it was possible to establish the mechanical performance of the material in the fracture zone using digital image correlation.

A novel dual-rotation bobbin tool friction stir welding （DBT-fSW） was developed, in which the upper shoulder （US） and lower shoulder （LS） have different rotational speeds. This process was tried to weld 3.2 mm thick alunlinum-lithium alloy sheets. The metallographic analysis and torque measurement were carried out to characterize the weld formabiliW. Experimental results show that compared to conven- tional bobbin tool friction stir welding, the DBT-fSW has an excellent process stability, and can produce the defect-free joints in a wider range of welding parameters. These can be attributed to the significant improvement of material flow caused by the formation of a staggered layer structure and the unbalanced force between the US and LS during the DBT-fSW process.

This study focuses on the bonding interface characteristics and mechanical properties of the bobbin tool friction stir welded dissimilar AA6056 and AA2219 aluminum alloy joints using diff erent welding *** arise solely in the stir zone at the AA2219 side.A distinct boundary with limited material mixing develops at the middle section of the bonding interface,while excellent material mixing with an irregularly jagged pattern forms at the top and bottom sections of the bonding *** the welding speed,the material mixing is rarely changed at the middle section in comparison with the bottom ***,a small diff erence between Guinier–Preston dissolution and Q phase precipitation leads to rare change of hardness in the heat aff ected zone(HAZ)at the AA6056 *** increased hardness of the HAZ at the AA2219 side is attributed to avoidance of the dissolution ofθ’’phase precipitates.A maximum tensile strength of 181 MPa is obtained at 300 mm *** occur at the AA6056 side near the top and bottom surfaces and at the bonding interface in the middle section of the *** regions close to the top and bottom surfaces of the joints show a better ductility.

Crystallographic and microstructural properties of Ho(Ni,Co,Mn)O3±dperovskite-type multiferroic material are *** were synthesized with a modified polymeric precursor *** synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction(SXRPD)technique associated to Rietveld refinement method was used to perform structural *** crystallographic structures,as well as microstructural properties,were studied to determine unit cell parameters and volume,angles and atomic positions,crystallite size and strain.X-ray energies below the absorption edges of the transition metals helped to determine the mean preferred atomic occupancy for the substituent ***,analyzing the degree of distortion of the polyhedra centered at the transitions metal atoms led to understanding the structural model of the synthesized phase.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)was performed to evaluate the valence states of the elements,and the tolerance factor and oxygen *** obtained results indicated a small decrease distortion in structure,close to the HoMnO3 basis *** addition,the substituent atoms showed the same distribution and,on average,preferentially occupied the center of the unit cell.
