GPSPiChain-Blockchain and AI based Self-Contained Anomaly Detection Family Security System in Smart home

With advancements in technology, personal computing devices are better adapted for and further integrated into people’s lives and homes. The integration of technology into society also results in an increasing desire to control who and what has access to sensitive information, especially for vulnerable people including children and the elderly. With blockchain rise as a technology that can revolutionize the world, it is now possible to have an immutable audit trail of locational data over time. By controlling the process through inexpensive equipment in the home, it is possible to control whom has access to such personal data. This paper presents a block-chain based family security system for outdoor tracking and in-house monitoring of users’ activities via sensors to detect anomalies in users’ daily activities with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). For outdoor tracking the locations of the consenting family members’ smart phones are logged and stored in a private blockchain which can be accessed through a node installed in the family home on a computer. The data for the whereabouts and daily activities of family members stays securely within the family unit and does not go to any third-party organizations. A Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) based smart contract is used for anomaly detection in users’ daily activities in a smart home, which notifies emergency contact or other family members in case of anomaly detection. The approach described in this paper contributes to the development of in-house data processing for outdoor tracking, and daily activities monitoring and prediction without any third-party hardware or software. The system is implemented at a small scale with one miner, two user nodes and several device nodes, as a proof of concept;the technical feasibility is discussed along with the limitations of the system. Case-Based Learning （CBL） has become an effective pedagogy for student-centered learning in medical education, which is founded on persistent patient cases. Flippped learning and Internet of Things （IoTs） concepts have gained significant attention in recent years. Using these concepts in conjunction with CBL can improve learning ability by providing real evolutionary medical eases. It also enables students to build confidence in their decision making, and efficiently enhances teamwork in the learning environment. We propose an IoT-based Flip Learning Platform, called IoTFLiP, where an IoT infrastrneture is exploited to support flipped case-based learning in a cloud environment with state of the art security and privacy measures for personalized medical data. It also provides support for application delivery in private, public, and hybrid approaches. The proposed platform is an extension of our Interactive Case-Based Flipped Learning Tool （ICBFLT）, which has been developed based on current CBL practices. ICBFLT formulates summaries of CBL cases through synergy between students＇ and medical expert knowledge. The low cost and reduced size of sensor device, support of IoTs, and recent flipped learning advancements can enhance medical students＇ academic and practical experiences. In order to demonstrate a working scenario for the proposed IoTFLiP platform, real-time data from IoTs gadgets is collected to generate a real-world case for a medical student using ICBFLT.

Dual ion storage hybrid supercapacitors(HsCs)are considered as a promising device to overcome the limited energy density of existing supercapacitors while preserving high power and long ***,the development of high-capacity anion-storing materials,which can be paired with fast charg-ing capacitive electrodes,lags behind cation-storing ***,we demonstrate the surface faradaic OH-storage mechanism of anion storing perovskite oxide composites and their application in high-performance dual ion *** oxygen vacancy and nanoparticle size of the reduced LaMnO_(3)(r-LaMnO_(3))were controlled,while r-LaMnO_(3) was chemically coupled with ozonated carbon nanotubes(oCNTs)for the improved anion storing capacity and cycle *** taken by in-situ and ex-situ spectroscopic and computational analyses,OH-ions are inserted into the oxygen vacancies coordi-nating with octahedral Mn with the increase in the oxidation state of Mn during the charging process or vice *** OH-storing r-LaMnO_(3)/oCNT composite with Na*storing MXene,the as-fabricated aqueous dual ion HSCs achieved the cycle performance of 73.3%over 10,000 cycles,delivering the max-imum energy and power densities of 47.5 w h kg^(-1) and 8 kw kg^(-1),respectively,far exceeding those of previously reported aqueous anion and dual ion storage *** research establishes a foundation for the unique anion storage mechanism of the defect engineered perovskite oxides and the advancement of dual ion hybrid energy storage devices with high energy and power densities.

Magnesium-ion batteries(MIBs)have promising applications because of their high theoretical capacity and the natural abundance of magnesium ***,the kinetic performance and cyclic stability of cathode materials are limited by the strong interactions between Mg ions and the crystal ***,we demonstrate the unique Mg^(2+)-ion storage mechanism of a hierarchical accordion-like vanadium oxide/carbon heterointerface(V2O3@C),where the V2O3 crystalline structure is reconstructed into a MgV_(3)O_(7)·H_(2)O phase through an anodic hydration reaction upon first cycle,for the improved kinetic and cyclic *** verified by in situ/ex situ spectroscopic and electrochemical analyses,the fast charge transfer kinetics of the V2O3@C cathode were due to the crystal-reconstruction and chemically coupled *** V2O3@C demonstrated an ultrahigh rate capacity of 130.4 mAh g^(-1)at 50000 mA g^(-1)and 1000 cycles,achieving a Coulombic efficiency of 99.6%.The high capacity of 381.0 mA h g^(-1)can be attributed to the reversible Mg^(2+)-ion intercalation mechanism observed in the MgV_(3)O_(7)·H_(2)O phase using a 0.3 M Mg(TFSI)2/ACN(H_(2)O)***,within the voltage range of 2.25 V versus Mg/Mg^(2+),the V2O3@C exhibited a capacity of 245.1 mAh g^(-1)when evaluated with magnesium metal in a 0.3 M Mg(TFSI)^(2+)0.25 M MgCl_(2)/DME *** research findings have important implications for understanding the relationship between the Mg-ion storage mechanism and reconstructed crystal phase of vanadium oxides as well as the heterointerface reconstruction for the rational design of MIB cathode materials.

The increasing demand for hydrogen energy to address environmental issues and achieve carbon neutrality has elevated interest in green hydrogen production,which does not rely on fossil *** various hydrogen production technologies,anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer(AEMWE)has emerged as a next-generation technology known for its high hydrogen production efficiency and its ability to use non-metal ***,this technology faces significant challenges,particularly in terms of the membrane durability and low ionic *** address these challenges,research efforts have focused on developing membranes with a new backbone structure and anion exchange groups to enhance durability and ionic ***,the super-acid-catalyzed condensation(SACC)synthesis method stands out due to its user convenience,the ability to create high molecular weight(MW)polymers,and the use of oxygen-tolerant organic *** the synthesis of anion exchange membranes(AEMs)using the SACC method began in 2015,and despite growing interest in this synthesis approach,there remains a scarcity of review papers focusing on AEMs synthesized using the SACC *** review covers the basics of SACC synthesis,presents various polymers synthesized using this method,and summarizes the development of these polymers,particularly their building blocks including aryl,ketone,and anion exchange *** systematically describe the effects of changes in the molecular structure of each polymer component,conducted by various research groups,on the mechanical properties,conductivity,and operational stability of the *** review will provide insights into the development of AEMs with superior performance and operational stability suitable for water electrolysis applications.

A Cu-Pd alloy catalyst with partial phase separation for the electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction

Cu catalysts can convert CO_(2) through an electrochemical reduction reaction into a variety of useful carbon-based ***,this capability provides an obstacle to increasing the selectivity for a single ***,we report a simple fabrication method for a Cu-Pd alloy catalyst for use in a membrane electrode assembly(MEA)-based CO_(2) electrolyzer for the electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(ECRR)with high selectivity for CO *** the composition of the Cu-Pd alloy catalyst was fabricated at 6:4,the selectivity for CO increased and the production of multi-carbon compounds and hydrogen is *** a Cu-Pd alloy catalyst with 6:4 ratio as the cathode of the MEAbased CO_(2) electrolyzer showed a CO faradaic efficiency of 92.8%at 2.4 V_(cell).We assumed that these results contributed from the crystal planes on the surface of the Cu-Pd *** phases of the Cu-Pd alloy catalyst were partially separated through annealing to fabricate a catalyst with high selectivity for CO at low voltage and C_(2)H_4 at high *** results of CO-stripping testing confirmed that when Cu partially separates from the lattice of the Cu-Pd alloy,the desorption of~*CO is suppressed,suggesting that C-C coupling reaction is favored.

Ag-GST/HfO_(x)-based unidirectional threshold switching selector with low leakage current and threshold voltage distribution for high-density cross-point arrays

The use of electrochemical-metallization-based volatile threshold switching selectors in cross-point arrays has been widely explored owing to their high on-off ratios and simple ***,these devices are unsuitable for cross-point architectures because of the difficulty in controlling the random filament formation that results in large fluctuations in the threshold voltage during *** this study,we investigated the unidirectional threshold transition characteristics associated with an Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt-based bilayer selector and demonstrated the occurrence of a low leakage current(hold voltage(Δ0.11 V).The bilayer structure could control the filament formation in the intermediate state through the insertion of an HfO_(x) tunneling *** stacking a bilayer selector with NiO_(x)based resistive random-access memory,the leakage and programming currents of the device could be significantly *** the crossbar array configuration,we performed equivalent circuit analysis of a one-selector oneresistor(1S1R) devices and estimated the optimal array size to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed *** maximum acceptable crossbar array size of the 1S1R device with the Ag/GST/HfO_(x)/Pt/Ti/NiO_(x)/Pt structure was 5.29×10^(14)(N^(2),N=2.3×10^(7)).

The polymeric gel electrolytes are attractive owing to their higher ionic conductivities than those of dry polymer electrolytes and lowered water activity for enlarged potential ***,the ionic conductivity and mechanical strength of the Na-ion conducting polymeric gel electrolytes are limited by below 20 mS cm−1 and 2.2 ***,we demonstrate Na-ion conducting and flexible polymeric hydrogel electrolytes of the chemically coupled poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride)-dextrin-N,N′-methylene-bisacrylamide film immersed in NaClO_(4) solution(ex-DDA-Dex+NaClO_(4))for flexible sodium-ion hybrid capacitors(f-NIHC).In particular,the anion exchange reaction and synergistic interaction of ex-DDA-Dex with the optimum ClO_(4)−enable to greatly improve the ionic conductivity up to 27.63 mS cm−1 at 25◦C and electrochemical stability window up to 2.6 V,whereas the double networking structure leads to achieve both the mechanical strength(7.48 MPa)and softness of hydrogel ***,the f-NIHCs with the ex-DDA-Dex+NaClO_(4) achieved high specific and high-rate capacities of 192.04 F g^(−1)at 500 mA g^(−1)and 116.06 F g^(−1)at 10000 mA g^(−1),respectively,delivering a large energy density of 120.03Wh kg^(−1)at 906Wkg^(−1)and long cyclability of 70%over 500 cycles as well as demonstrating functional operation under mechanical stresses.

Background:Apolipoprotein B mRNA editing catalytic polypeptide(APOBEC),an endogenous mutator,induces DNA damage and activates the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related(ATR)-checkpoint kinase 1(Chk1)*** cisplatin-based therapy is the mainstay for muscle-invasive bladder cancer(MIBC),it has a poor survival ***,this study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of an ATR inhibitor combined with cisplatin in the treatment of APOBEC catalytic subunit 3B(APOBEC3B)expressing ***:Immunohistochemical staining was performed to analyze an association between APOBEC3B and ATR in patients with *** APOBEC3B expression in MIBC cell lines was assessed using real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blot *** blot analysis was performed to confirm differences in phosphorylated Chk1(pChk1)expression according to the APOBEC3B *** viability and apoptosis analyses were performed to examine the anti-tumor activity of ATR inhibitors combined with ***:There was a significant association between APOBEC3B and ATR expression in the tumor tissues obtained from patients with *** with higher APOBEC3B expression showed higher pChk1 expression than cells expressing low APOBEC3B *** treatment of ATR inhibitor and cisplatin inhibited cell growth in MIBC cells with a higher APOBEC3B *** to cisplatin single treatment,combination treatment induced more apoptotic cell death in the cells with higher APOBEC3B ***:Our study shows that APOBEC3B’s higher expression status can enhance the sensitivity of MIBC to cisplatin upon ATR *** result provides new insight into appropriate patient selection for the effective application of ATR inhibitors in MIBC.
