近几年，国民法律意识的日益增强，以及旅游活动和旅游业务量的陡增，使得消费者与业界、业界与业界的纠纷解决，不少都诉诸法律。在众多的官司之中，有一场官司涉及面较广，尤其是关系到旅行社的利益，这就是关于“三峡”等诸多景点被当作服务商标注册一案。由于该事件影响的广泛性和所导致问题的深远性，本刊编者特约请了旅游企业、旅游管理、旅游研究以及工商法律部门、建设和景区景点主管部门等多方面的人士（不少是资深人士）撰文就此展开深入探讨。参加讨论的诸位不仅对旅游景点是否可以作为服务商标注册作出了评说，还对旅行社企业如何增强法律意识，走品牌化发展道路作了精辟分析，为业界提供了良好的参考。
