Potassium tungstophosphate is supported on BEA zeolite by in situ synthesis for glyphosate removal. Spectroscopic measurements identified hydrogen bonding as a primal interaction of potassium salt and BEA zeolite. Composites are evaluated for glyphosate herbicide removal and adsorption process is analyzed using two isotherm models. Obtained adsorption capacities for all prepared composites lay between 45.2 and 92.2 mg of glyphosate per gram of investigated composite. Suspension acidity revealed that glyphosate is adsorbed mainly in the zwitter-ion form at the composite surface while the amount of potassium salt in the composites is crucial for the adsorption application. Exceptional adsorption behavior is postulated to come from a high degree of homogeneity among surface active sites which is confirmed by different experimental methods. Temperature programmed desorption of glyphosate coupled with mass spectrometer detected one broad, high-temperature peak which represents overlapped desorption processes from active sights of similar *** of potassium tungstophosphate affects active sites present in BEA zeolite for glyphosate desorption and significantly increases the amount of adsorbed pesticide in comparison to BEA zeolite. Supporting of potassium tungstophosphate on BEA zeolite via in situ synthesis procedure enables the formation of highly efficient adsorbents and revealed their perspective environmental application.

Demand driven growth is rather a common approach in many countries in the short run. Growth in aggregate demand pushes production to higher level, increasing employment and income. But what is the case in small open economies, which are highly import dependable, service-oriented, and have to import most consumers" goods Research is focused on the case of small open economy (Montenegro). Research will be based on statistical data for Montenegro, for period from2000 to2011. Data are processed in Eviews, using Least Square method to estimate equations and models. Research has shown that gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the short run, prior to global financial crisis, was achieved through growth in consumption and investment, which led to growth in import and growth in foreign debt, as consumption was financed significantly borrowing foreign financial resources. After the crisis, financial inflows dropped, leaving Montenegrin economy to struggle with increased debt (both public and private), unfinished investment project to provide value added and low level of domestic production leading to even higher trade deficit. Future growth can be achieved only if it is driven by investments, as growth in consumption will more likely lead to higher trade deficit than production growth.

Identification of regulators of osteoblastogenesis that can be pharmacologically targeted is a major goal in combating osteoporosis,a common disease of the elderly population. Here, unbiased kinome RNAi screening in primary murine osteoblasts identified cyclin-dependent kinase 5(Cdk5) as a suppressor of osteoblast differentiation in both murine and human preosteoblastic cells. Cdk5 knockdown by si RNA, genetic deletion using the Cre-lox P system, or inhibition with the small molecule roscovitine enhanced osteoblastogenesis in vitro. Roscovitine treatment significantly enhanced bone mass by increasing osteoblastogenesis and improved fracture healing in mice. Mechanistically, downregulation of Cdk5 expression increased Erk phosphorylation, resulting in enhanced osteoblast-specific gene expression. Notably, simultaneous Cdk5 and Erk depletion abrogated the osteoblastogenesis conferred by Cdk5 depletion alone, suggesting that Cdk5 regulates osteoblast differentiation through MAPK pathway modulation. We conclude that Cdk5 is a potential therapeutic target to treat osteoporosis and improve fracture healing.

Three major cardiovascular outcome trials(CVOTs)with a new class of antidiabetic drugs-sodium-glucose cotransporter 2(SGLT2)inhibitors(EMPAREG OUTCOME trial with empagliflozin,CANVAS Program with canagliflozin,DECLARE-TIMI 58 with dapagliflozin)unexpectedly showed that cardiovascular outcomes could be improved possibly due to a reduction in heart failure risk,which seems to be the most sensitive outcome of SGLT2 *** other CVOT to date has shown any significant benefit on heart failure *** more impressive findings came recently from the DAPA-HF trial in patients with confirmed and well-treated heart failure:Dapagliflozin was shown to reduce heart failure risk for patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction regardless of diabetes ***,despite their possible wide clinical implications,there is much doubt about the mechanisms of action and a lot of questions to unravel,especially now when their benefits translated to nondiabetic patients,rising doubts about the validity of some current mechanistic *** time frame of their cardiovascular benefits excludes glucoselowering and antiatherosclerotic-mediated effects and multiple other mechanisms,direct cardiac as well as systemic,are suggested to explain their early cardiorenal *** are:Anti-inflammatory,antifibrotic,antioxidative,antiapoptotic properties,then renoprotective and hemodynamic effects,attenuation of glucotoxicity,reduction of uric acid levels and epicardial adipose tissue,modification of neurohumoral system and cardiac fuel energetics,sodiumhydrogen exchange *** most logic explanation seems that SGLT2 inhibitors timely target various mechanisms underpinning heart failure *** the proposed mechanisms of their action could interfere with evolution of heart failure and are discussed separately within the main text.

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the most common endocrinopathy in women of reproductive age associated with long-term metabolic and cardiovascular consequences.A plethora of symptoms and their severity differentiate on an individual level,giving the syndrome numerous *** to menstrual cycle abnormalities,women suffer from irregular menstrual bleeding,difficulty in conception,and ***,the risk of pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes mellitus,hypertensive disorders of pregnancy,and preterm birth are higher in women with PCOS than in the general ***,women with PCOS have comorbidities such as dyslipidemia,obesity,glucose intolerance or diabetes type 2,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,and metabolic syndrome,which all influence the treatment *** insulinsensitizing agents,although good for some of the metabolic derangements,do not offer long-term cardiovascular benefits;therefore,new treatment options are of paramount ***-glucose co-transporter-2(SGLT-2)inhibitors,a new class of antidiabetic agents with beneficial cardiovascular,bodyweight,and antihyperglycemic effects,although not approved for the treatment of PCOS,might be an attractive therapeutic addition in the PCOS ***,recent studies with SGLT-2 inhibitors showed promising improvements in anthropometric parameters and body composition in patients with *** is important to further explore the SGLT-2 inhibitors potential as an early therapeutic option because of the PCOS-related risk of metabolic,reproductive,and psychological consequences.

Through the observation and analysis of the motion trajectory of spiral winding motion for slender legless biological creatures in water,V-REP software is adopted to build a dynamic simulator to study on the mechanism of spiral winding swimming(SWS)*** using the output of spiral function(SF),the dynamic simulation model of slender legless creature(SLC)realizes the SWS motion in *** corresponding experiments under the control of different bending angle of SF to control the dynamic model are also carried out to analyze the water performance of SWS in still *** with the output of two different bending angles of the spiral function,the dynamic model can be used to realize SWS and up/down *** work provides technical reserve and experimental platform for the corresponding study in related fields.

The zoonotic risk of hepatitis E virus(HEV)is well *** HEV seroprevalence rates vary according to geographical region,assays used,and study *** infection is still underdiagnosed,implying the need to evaluate the disease's burden in the general population and specific risk groups,such as professionally *** contact with various animal reservoirs such as pigs,rabbits,sheep,dogs,wild boars,and deer has been associated with higher anti-HEV seroprevalence as a part of occupational *** exact transmission routes remain to be determined,some general preventive measures such as proper hand hygiene,the usage of personal protective equipment,and the thermal processing of food before consumption should be followed.A“One-Health”multisectoral approach should be implemented to achieve optimal health and well-being outcomes,recognizing the interconnections between humans,animals,plants,and their shared environment,in which a vaccine against the zoonotic genotypes 3 and 4 and swine vaccination should be considered as a possible public health *** opinion review comprehensively addresses the HEV burden of professional exposure for butchers,slaughterhouse workers,veterinarians,farmers,hunters,and forestry workers delineates the current limits of protective work measures,and tackles future directions.
