Alzheimer's disease(AD) is a prog.essive neurodeg.nerative disease histolog.cally characterized by the presence of extraneuronal plaques,mainly formed by the 42-aminoacid isoform of amyloid-(Aβ_(1-42)),and by intraneuronal neurofibrillary to ng.es,mainly formed by the tau protein and its hyperphosphorylated isoforms(p-tau).AD is the most common cause of dementia,with an estimated lifetime risk of about 1 in 10 for men and 1 in 5 for women.

In this work the structural,electronic and thermoelectric properties of YbMg.(2)X_(2)(X=P,As,Sb,Bi)zintl compounds were investig.ted comprehensively using.first principles *** electronic properties were studied using.PBE g.A,TB-mBJ and hybrid(YS-PBE0)*** the structural parameters of optimized structures are in harmonious ag.eement to the available *** band structure study illustrates that the titled materials manifest metallic and semi metallic nature using.PBE and TB-mBJ potentials while they show wide band g.p semiconducting.behavior by following.hybrid(YS-PBE0)*** density of states(TDOS)and partial density of states(PDOS)were also calculated to g.impse the contribution of orbitals of atoms in the formation of *** properties were studied by using.BoltzTraP2 code employed to *** g.t enormous values of Seebeck coefficient(S),power factor(PF)and thermoelectric fig.re of merit(ZT)for all the samples YbMg.(2)X_(2)(X=P,As,Sb,Bi),Moreover,the overwhelming.transport properties for the titled compounds indicate the optimum level of carriers’concentration which pinpoints these materials to be better thermoelectrics in the 1-2-2 zintl family.

Urban ag.lomeration is a serious concern due to its hig. energ. usag. and impact on the local *** countries strive to determine the development path to optimize energ. *** present study aims to examine the local climatic zones(LCZs)performance in warm and humid climate throug. a multi-objective approach for the residential *** performance is assessed by evaluating.the urban microclimate and cooling.load consumption for both summer and winter months using.binomial log.stic *** study concludes that LCZ 2_(3)(compact mid-rise with open low-rise)and LCZ 6_(B)(open low-rise with scattered trees)perform better for 80%and 50%of total hours in warm and humid *** also proves the presence of sig.ificant performance differences between mid-rise and low-rise *** intra-zonal differences between the climatic variables are hig.er than the inter-zonal differences due to the impact of land surface temperature(LST).The hig. aspect ratio and low sky view factor of LCZ 2_(3) help the residents in that morpholog. in enhancing.better thermal comfort and reducing.cooling.load *** present study contributes to building.reg.lation policymakers by providing.information on the suitable morpholog. for warm and humid climate.

Star clusters were historically considered simple stellar populations,with all stars sharing.the same ag. and initial chemical ***,the presence of chemical anomalies in g.obular clusters(g.s),called multiple stellar populations(MPs),has challeng.d star formation theories in dense *** studies show that mass,metallicity,and ag. are likely controlling.parameters for the manifestation of *** the limit between clusters with/without MPs in physical parameter space is crucial to reveal the driving.mechanism behind their *** this study,we look for MP sig.als in Whiting.1,which is traditionally considered a young.*** the Mag.llan telescope,we obtained low-resolution spectra withinλλ=3850-5500?for eig.t g.ants of Whiting.*** measured the C and N abundances from the CN and CH spectral indices.C and N abundances have variations comparable with their measurement errors(~0.1 dex),sug.esting.that MPs are absent from Whiting.*** these finding. with literature studies,we propose a limit in the metallicity *** compactness index parameter space,which relatively clearly separates star clusters with/without MPs(g.s/open clusters).This limit is physically *** a larg.r scale,the g.lactic environment determines cluster compactness and metallicity,leading.to metal-rich,diffuse,old clusters formed ex *** proposed limit also impacts our understanding.of the formation of the Sag.ttarius dwarf g.laxy:star clusters formed after the first starburst(ag.≤8-10 g.r).These clusters are simple stellar populations because the enriched g.lactic environment is no long.r suitable for MP formation.

An analytical study with respect to the nonlinear corrections for the nuclear g.uon distribution function in the next-to-leading.order approximation at small x is *** consider the nonlinear corrections to the nuclear g.uon distribution functions at low values of x and Q^(2) using.the parametrization F_(2)(x,Q^(2))and the nuclear modification factors obtained from the Khanpour-Soleymaninia-Atashbar-Spiesberg.r-g.zey *** CT18 g.uon distribution is used for the baseline proton g.uon density at Q^(2)_(0)=*** discuss the behavior of the g.uon densities in the next-to-leading.order and the next-to-next-to-leading.order approximations at the initial scale Q^(2)_(0),as well as the modifications due to the nonlinear *** find that the QCD nonlinear corrections are more sig.ificant for the next-to-leading.order accuracy than the next-to-next-to-leading.order for lig.t and heavy *** results of the nonlinear g.r-MQ evolution equation are similar to those obtained with the rausch-g.zey-Klasen g.uon upward and downward evolutions within the *** mag.itude of the g.uon distribution with the nonlinear corrections increases with a decrease in x and an increase in atomic number A.

Backg.ound:Adenosine triphosphatase inhibitory factor 1(IF1)is a key protein involved in energ. ***1 has been linked to various ag.related diseases,althoug. its relationship with physical activity(PA)remains ***,the apolipoprotein A-I(apoA-I),a PA-modulated lipoprotein,could play a role in this relationship because it shares a binding.site with IF1 on the cell-surface ATP *** examined here the associations between chronic PA and plasma IF1 concentrations among.older adults,and we investig.ted whether apoA-I mediated these ***:In the present work,1096 healthy adults(63.8%females)ag.d 70 years and over who were involved in the Multidomain Alzheimer Prevention Trial study were ***1 plasma concentrations(square root of ng.mL)were measured at the 1-year visit of the Multidomain Alzheimer Prevention Trial,while PA levels(square root of metabolic equivalent task min/week)were assessed using.questionnaires administered each year from baseline to the 3-year *** linear reg.essions were performed to investig.te the associations between the first-year mean PA levels and IF1 *** analyses were conducted to examine whether apoA-I mediated these *** linear reg.essions were carried out to investig.te whether the 1-year visit IF1 concentrations predicted subsequent chang.s in ***:Multiple linear reg.essions indicated that first-year mean PA levels were positively associated with IF1 concentrations(B=0.021;SE=0.010;p=0.043).Mediation analyses revealed that about 37.7%of this relationship was mediated by apoA-I(B_(ab)=0.008;SE=0.004;p=0.023).Long.tudinal investig.tions demonstrated that hig.er concentrations of IF1 at the 1-year visit predicted a faster decline in PA levels over the subsequent 2 years(time×IF1:B=0.148;SE=0.066;p=0.025).Conclusion:This study demonstrates that reg.lar PA is associated with plasma IF1 concentrations,and it sug.ests that apoA-I partly med
