很多个人护理用品消费者相信自己为敏感性皮肤,而准确评价皮肤刺激作用对研制敏感性皮肤消费者特用的化妆品尤其重要。目前尚缺少既有效又无刺激/致敏作用且适用于所有类型配方的理想防腐剂。本研究首先利用EpiOcular体外模型预测一种或多种化妆品防腐剂的组合的眼刺激作用。这是我们检测眼部及其周围使用化妆品刺激性强度的标准方法。EpiOcular体外模型人上皮器官型培养模型,因无角质层保护,故而成为动物替代试验中测定受拭物眼刺激性的较好选择。本研究还观察了这些防腐剂在敏感皮肤者体内的感觉性刺激作用。研究结果显示,苯甲醇与碘丙炔醇丁基氨甲酸酯（glycacil）或氯苯组合的感觉性刺激分值最低,而苯氧乙醇与4基苯甲酸烷基酯（4-hydroxy benzoic acid alkyl esters）组合引起的感觉性刺激分值最高。由EpiOcular试验测得的ET5O值这些结果明显相关。因此,尽管测定终点不同,联合使用这两种方法在新型防腐剂及化妆品的研制过程中选择较温和的原料或配方可能具有重要应用价值。

确定眼刺激作用的强弱是眼/面部化妆品安全性评价中的重要一环,而近年来体外替代模型在这一领域的应用愈加普及。作为一种眼刺激试验的体外替代方法,EpiOcularTM模型在区分刺激性较弱的受试物时具有独特的优势。包括EpiOcularTM试验在内,目前已建立并被广泛应用的多种体外替代方法只预测传统的客观性眼刺激作用,而眼部周围皮肤和粘膜感觉上的舒适度也是决定消费者是否接受这些产品的一个重要因素。本研究利用EpiOcularTM体外模型在不同浓度下对两种表面活性剂洗面乳配方（Fd和Fm）的眼刺激作用进行预测,并结合临床及消费者试验加以比较和验证,旨在探讨不同检测浓度对EpiOcularTM模型预测化妆品眼刺激作用的影响。体外实验结果表明,在检测浓度为10%时,两种配方的ET50（引起组织存活率降低50%所需时间）未见明显差异。而当检测浓度为3%时,Fm的ET50较Fd明显缩短,显示该配方的眼刺激作用可能强于后者。本研究进一步采用人眼直接滴入法对两种配方（1%水溶液）的眼刺激强度进行临床评价。结果表明,Fm可引起明显的感觉性眼刺激,其发生率和强度显著高于Fd。与之相对,临床眼科检查包括眼表面荧光素染色检查未发现任何眼刺激的客观体怔,也未见两种处理间存在差异。另外,两种洗面乳所致感觉性眼刺激的不同在消费者使用实验中也得到证实。在历时12周的消费者使用实验中,Fm组部分研究对象报告出现不同程度的眼刺激,而Fd组未见任何不良反应发生,二者存在明显差异。上述结果表明,在EpiOcularTM实验中,使用相对较低的检测浓度可更有效地区分表面活性剂洗面乳所致感觉性眼刺激的强弱。本研究结果还提示,除了能用于预测客观性眼刺激作用外,EpiOcularTM模型在预测化妆品及其原料引起的感觉性眼刺激作用方面也可能具有潜在的应用价值,并有望成为眼/面部化妆品研发过程中筛选低刺激性产品的有力工具。

Variability in the location and shape of the dayside magnetopause is attributed to magnetic reconnection,a fundamental process that enables the transfer of mass,energy,and momentum from the solar wind into the *** spatial and temporal properties of the magnetopause,under varying solar and magnetospheric conditions,remain largely unknown because empirical studies using in-situ observations are challenging to *** wide field-of-view(FOV)imaging is the only means to simultaneously observe the spatial distribution of the plasma properties over the vast dayside magnetospheric region and,subsequently,quantify the energy transport from the interplanetary medium into the terrestrial *** upcoming missions,ESA/cAS SMILE and NASA’s LEXI will provide wide-field imagery of the dayside magnetosheath in soft X-rays,an emission generated by charge exchange interactions between high charge-state heavy ions of solar wind origin and exospheric neutral ***-cadence two-dimensional observations of the magnetosheath will allow the estimation of dynamic properties of its inner boundary,the magnetopause,and enable studies of its response to changes in the solar wind dynamic pressure and interplanetary magnetic field *** work introduces a statistically-based estimation approach based on inverse theory to estimate the spatial distribution of magnetosheath soft X-ray emissivities and,with this,identify the location of the magnetopause over the Sun−Earth *** do so,we simulate the magnetosheath structure using the MHD-based OpenGGcM model and generate synthetic soft X-ray images using LEXI’s orbit and attitude *** results show that 3-D estimations using the described statistically-based technique are robust against Poisson-distributed shot noise inherent to soft X-ray ***,our proposed methodology shows that the accuracy of both three-dimensional(3-D)estimation and the magnetopause standoff distance calculation hi

As silicon photonics transitions from research to commercial deployment,packaging solutions that efficiently couple light into highly compact and functional sub-micrometer silicon waveguides are imperative but remain *** 220 nm silicon-on-insulator(SOI)platform,poised to enable large-scale integration,is the most widely adopted by foundries,resulting in established fabrication processes and extensive photonic component *** development of a highly efficient,scalable,and broadband coupling scheme for this platform is therefore of paramount *** two-photon polymerization(TPP)and a deterministic free-form micro-optics design methodology based on the Fermat’s principle,this work demonstrates an ultraefficient and broadband 3-D coupler interface between standard SMF-28 single-mode fibers and silicon waveguides on the 220 nm SOI *** coupler achieves a low coupling loss of 0.8 dB for the fundamental TE mode,along with 1 dB bandwidth exceeding 180 *** broadband operation enables diverse bandwidthdriven applications ranging from communications to ***,the 3-D free-form coupler also enables large tolerance to fiber misalignments and manufacturing variability,thereby relaxing packaging requirements toward cost reduction capitalizing on standard electronic packaging process flows.

Distinct neutrophil populations arise during certain pathological *** generation of dysfunctional neutrophils during sepsis and their contribution to septicemia-related systemic immune suppression remain *** this study,using an experimental sepsis model that features immunosuppression,we identified a novel population of pathogenic cD200R^(high) neutrophils that are generated during the initial stages of sepsis and contribute to systemic immune suppression by enhancing regulatory T(T_(reg))*** to their cD200R^(low)counterparts,sepsis-generated cD200Rhigh neutrophils exhibit impaired autophagy and dysfunction,with reduced chemotactic migration,superoxide anion production,and TNF-α*** soluble cD200 blocks autophagy and neutrophil maturation in the bone marrow during experimental sepsis,and recombinant cD200 treatment in vitro can induce neutrophil dysfunction similar to that observed in cD200R^(high) *** administration of anα-cD200R antibody effectively reversed neutrophil dysfunction by enhancing autophagy and protecting against a secondary infection challenge,leading to increased *** analysis revealed that cD200R^(high) neutrophils expressed high levels of Igf1,which elicits the generation of Treg cells,while the administration of anα-cD200R antibody inhibited Treg cell generation in a secondary infection *** together,our findings revealed a novel cD200R^(high) neutrophil population that mediates the pathogenesis of sepsis-induced systemic immunosuppression by generating Treg cells.

Objective:To investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INTERHEART risk stratification in a middle-aged adult population in ***:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sampling was conducted during November 2022 and January *** completed validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopting healthy habits,and INTERHEART risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final *** were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or Mann-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent ***:There was a significant positive correlation between medical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(cVD)and knowledge related to cVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(Pcorrelation).Notably,individuals with higher IHRS tended to have lower knowledge related to cVD and cVD risk prevention,risk perception,and behavioural ***,laborers,active/former smokers,individuals with lower household income and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the cVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessment tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(Pcational level,smoking status,awareness about cVD poster,self-assessment tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to cVD and cVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(Pconclusions:These findings underscore the importance of promoting car
