This paper exam.nes the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and m.ss transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic m.croorganism. towards a curved oscillatory surface. The influence of m.gnetic fields is also inspected in term. of their physical characteristics. To depict the phenom.na of transport, m.dified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and hom.geneous chem.cal reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system. the flow problem.is form.lated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for m.m.ntum. concentration, m.croorganism.field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the hom.topy analysis m.thod(HAm..The effects of significant flow param.ters on the pressure and m.croorganism.fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and tem.erature distributions are shown via graphs. Furtherm.re, the variations in skin friction, m.ss transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local m.tile num.er due to different involved param.ters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and tem.erature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volum. fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the hom.geneous reaction strength param.ter and the radius of curvature param.ter increase, and it increases with the schmidt num.er and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcom.s show a favorable response of the m.tile num.er to advanced values of the Peclet num.er, the schmidt num.er, the m.croorganism.difference param.ter, and the bio-convective Lewis num.er.

Neuroinflam.ation and neurodegeneration are key processes that m.diate the developm.nt and progression of neurological ***,the m.chanism. m.dulating these processes in different diseases rem.in incom.letely *** in single cell based m.lti-om.c analyses have helped to identify distinct m.lecular signatures such as Lgals3 that is associated with neuroinflam.ation and neurodegeneration in the central nervous system.CNS).Lgals3 encodes galectin-3(Gal3),aβ-galactoside and glycan binding glycoprotein that is frequently upregulated by reactive m.croglia/m.crophages in the CNS during various neurological *** Gal3 has previously been associated with non-CNS inflam.atory and fibrotic diseases,recent studies highlight Gal3 as a prom.nent regulator of inflam.ation and neuroaxonal dam.ge in the CNS during diseases such as m.ltiple sclerosis,Alzheim.r’s disease,and Parkinson’s *** this review,we sum.arize the pleiotropic functions of Gal3 and discuss evidence that dem.nstrates its detrim.ntal role in neuroinflam.ation and neurodegeneration during different neurological *** also consider the challenges of translating preclinical observations into targeting Gal3 in the hum.n CNS.

Real-tim. hybrid sim.lation is an attractive m.thod to evaluate the response of structures under earthquake loads. The m.thod is a variation of the pseudodynam.c testing technique in which the experim.nt is executed in real tim., thus allowing investigation of structural system. with rate-dependent com.onents. Real-tim. hybrid sim.lation is challenging because it requires perform.nce of all calculations, application of displacem.nts, and acquisition of m.asured forces, within a very sm.ll increm.nt of tim.. Furtherm.re, unless appropriate com.ensation for actuator dynam.cs is im.lem.nted, stability problem. are likely to occur during the experim.nt. This paper presents an approach for real-tim. hybrid sim.lation in which com.ensation for actuator dynam.cs is im.lem.nted using a m.del-based feedforward com.ensator. The m.thod is used to evaluate the response of a sem.-active control of a structure em.loying an m. dam.er. Experim.ntal results show good agreem.nt with the predicted responses, dem.nstrating the effectiveness of the m.thod for structural control perform.nce assessm.nt.

Using a procedure based on interpolation via continued fractions supplem.nted by statistical sam.ling,we analyze proton m.gnetic form.factor data obtained via electron+proton scattering on Q^(2)∈[0.027,0.55]GeV^(2)with the goal of determ.ning the proton m.gnetic *** approach avoids assum.tions about the function form.used for data interpolation and ensuing extrapolation onto Q^(2)■0 for extraction of the form.factor *** this way,we find r_(m.=0.817(27)*** the difference between proton electric and m.gnetic radii calculated in this way,extant data are seen to be com.atible with the possibility that the slopes of the proton Dirac and Pauli form.factors,F1,2(Q^(2)),are not truly independent observables;to wit,the difference F_(1)’(0)-F_(2)’(0)/κp=[1+Kp]/[4 m.(p)^(2)],viz.,the proton Foldy term.

A Novel Outage Capacity Objective Function for Optim.l Perform.nce m.nitoring and Predictive Fault Detection in Hybrid Free-Space Optical and RF Wireless Networks

This study develops an optim.l perform.nce m.nitoring m.tric for a hybrid free space optical and radio wireless network, the Outage Capacity Objective Function. The objective function—the dependence of hybrid channel outage capacity upon the error rate, jointly quantifies the effects of atm.spheric optical im.airm.nts on the perform.nce of the free space optical segm.nt as well as the effect of RF channel im.airm.nts on the radio frequency segm.nt. The objective function is developed from.the basic inform.tion-theoretic capacity of the optical and radio channels using the gam.a-gam.a m.del for optical fading and Ricean statistics for the radio channel fading. A sim.lation is perform.d by using the hybrid network. The objective function is shown to provide significantly im.roved sensitivity to degrading perform.nce trends and supports of proactive link failure prediction and m.tigation when com.ared to current thresholding techniques for signal quality m.trics.

The prim.ry purpose of this work is to reproduce the scenario com.osed of a charge-dyon system.utilizing position-dependent effective m.ss(PDm. background in the non-relativistic and in the relativistic regim.s. In the nonrelativistic case we substitute the exact charge-dyon eigenfunction into PDm.Schr?dinger equation, in the Zhu-Kroem.r param.trization, and then solve it for the m.ss distribution considering m.= m.r). Analogously, in the relativistic case we study the Klein-Gordon equation for a position-dependent m.ss, and in this case, we are able to analytically solve the equation for m.= m.r, θ).

Single-m.lecule detection is one of the fundam.ntal challenges of m.dern *** experim.nts often use labels that can be expensive,difficult to produce,and for sm.ll analytes,m.ght perturb the m.lecular events being *** size plays an im.ortant role in determ.ning *** we use laser-frequency locking in the context of sensing to im.rove the signal-to-noise ratio of m.crotoroid optical resonators to the extent that single nanoparticles 2.5 nm.in radius,and 15.5 kDa m.lecules are detected in aqueous solution,thereby bringing these detectors to the size lim.ts needed for detecting the key m.crom.lecules of the *** results,covering several orders of m.gnitude of particle radius(100 nm.to 2 nm.,agree with the‘reactive’m.del prediction for the frequency shift of the resonator upon particle *** confirm. that the m.in contribution of the frequency shift for the resonator upon particle binding is an increase in the effective path length due to part of the evanescent field coupling into the adsorbed *** anticipate that our results will enable m.ny applications,including m.re sensitive m.dical diagnostics and fundam.ntal studies of single receptor–ligand and protein–protein interactions in real tim..

Sedim.ntology and Chronology of Paleogene Coarse Clastic Rocks in East-Central Tibet and Their Relationship to Early Tectonic Uplift

A system.tic sedim.ntological and chronological study of typical Paleogene basins in eastcentral Tibet suggests that the depositional characteristics of extensively developed huge-bedded, purplish-red coarse clastic rocks form.d in a tectonic setting of regional thrusting and strike-slipping represent a typical dry and hot subaerial alluvial fan environm.nt form.d in a proxim.l and rapidaccum.lating sedim.nt body in debris flows and a fan-surface braided river. Com.ining results from.basin-fill sequences, sequences of coarse clastic rocks, fauna and sporo-pollen associations and therm.chronological data, it is conduded that the coarse clastic rocks form.d in the period of 54.2- 24.1 m., nearly coeval with the form.tion of Paleogene basins in the northern （Nangqen-Yushu thrust belt）, m.ddle （Batang-Lijiang fault belt）, and disintegration of large basins in the southern （LanpingSim.o fold belt） segm.nts of Tibet. The widespread m.ssive-bedded coarse clastic rocks, fold thrusting and strike-slip, thrust shortening, and igneous activities in the Paleogene basins of eastcentral Tibet indicate that an early diachronous tectonic uplift m.ght have occurred in the Tibetan Plateau from.m.ddle Eocene to Oligocene, related to the initial stage of collision of the Indian and Asian plates.
