Obstetric complica.ions requiring eva.ua.ion a.e found a.l over the world with a.high frequency in developing countries where they a.e responsible for high feta.-ma.erna. morbidity a.d morta.ity. The objectives of this study were to ca.cula.e the frequency of obstetric eva.ua.ions in the ma.ernity wa.d of the Coya. prefectura. hospita., describe the socio-demogra.hic cha.a.teristics of the eva.ua.ed pa.ients, identify the ma.n rea.ons for eva.ua.ion, determine the mea.s of tra.sport used a.d specify the ma.erna. a.d feta. prognosis. a.>Patients and Method: This was a prospective descriptive and analytical study conducted over a 6-month period (April 1-September 30, 2020) at the maternity ward of the Coyah prefectural hospital. All patients evacuated for complications of gravidopuerperium were included in the study. Results: We recorded 84 cases of obstetric evacuations out of a total of 2206 consultations, i.e. a frequency of 3.8%. The average age of the patients was 25.22 yearsa.> with extremes of 15 and 45. Housewives (58.82%), nulliparous women (36.93%) and women with no education (64.29%) were the most numerous ones. No patient received medical transportation. More than half of the patients were evacuated by a nurse (51.21%). Hemorrhage in the last quarter was the main reason for evacuation. The average distance traveled by patients was 18.3 km with extremes of 12 and 68 km. The average transfer time was 63 min (1 h 3 minutes) with extremes of 20 min and 300 min (5 h). Maternal mortality was 5.95%. The perinatal mortality rate was 46.42%. No counter-referral was made. Conclusion: a. style

Objective: To study the epidemiologica., clinica. a.d thera.eutic a.pects of sickle cell disea.e in children a.mitted to the pedia.ric emergency depa.tment of the Ga.riel Toure University Hospita.. Ma.eria.s a.d methods: This wa. a.prospective study over 12 months in sickle cell children a.ed 6 months to 15 yea.s. Results: The frequency of sickle cell disea.e wa. 4.67% with 71.1% of SS form. The a.e ra.ge of 60 - 120 months predomina.ed with 43.4% a.d the sex ra.io 1.4. Va.o-occlusive crises (VOC) were the most frequent rea.on for consulta.ion (50.6%) a.d osteoa.ticula. pa.n wa. the ma.n symptom followed by fever a.d pa.lor with respectively 67.5%, 60.2%, 39.8%. The pa.n subsided in less tha. 72 hours in 39.8% a.d hyper hydra.ion wa. performed in 85.1% of pa.ients. a.a.gesic trea.ment wa. given in 90.4%, a.tibiotic thera.y in 51.8% a.d phenotyped red blood cells tra.sfusion wa. performed in 36.1%. Urba. truck fa.ming in developing countries a.pea.s of grea. importa.ce to overcome unemployment a.d poverty. However, the qua.ity of wa.tewa.er used for such a.tivity could expose popula.ions to wa.erborne disea.es. The microbia. qua.ity of wa.tewa.ers used for truck fa.ming in Oua.a.ougou city, wa. exa.ined for the presence of ba.teria. a.d pa.a.itologica. feca. indica.ors during the dry-hot sea.on (Ma.) a.d the wet sea.on (July) in 2012. The wa.tewa.ers of three wa.er reservoirs a.d two ca.a.s intensively used for truck fa.ming were a.a.yzed throughout the study. These indica.ors were a.so monitored in wa.te sta.iliza.ion ponds during wa.tewa.er trea.ment in 3 pla.ts of the city. For a.l the selected sa.pling sites, the concentra.ions of microbia. indica.ors in wa.er were significa.tly higher in the dry-hot sea.on compa.ed to the wet one (p - 53,800 CFU/100ml for Escherichia.coli, 8200 - 108,400 CFU/100ml for feca. coliforms, 650 - 45,000 CFU/100ml) for feca. streptococcus, a.d 0 - 2.4 eggs/l for helminthes during the study periods. For wa.tewa.er under trea.ment in wa.te sta.iliza.ion ponds, significa.t microbia. concentra.ion drops (p 0.0001) in the ra.ge of 82% - 100%, 78% - 98%, 60% - 100% a.d 82% - 88%, respectively were recorded between the a.a.robic a.d the ma.ura.ion ponds. The la.er results highlighted tha. improving the refining performa.ces of the wa.te sta.iliza.ion ponds technology could help decrea.ing hea.th risks rela.ed to wa.tewa.er reuse in urba. a.riculture for a.susta.na.le development of cities in developing countries.

Methodology: This wa. a.six (6) month descriptive prospective study performed in the Obstetrics a.d Gynecology Depa.tment of Donka.Na.iona. Hospita.-CHU Cona.ry. The study took pla.e from july 1 st to December 31st, 2015. Results: The frequency of a.teria. hypertension during pregna.cy wa. 8.82% in the service. The epidemiologica. profile wa. tha. of teena.ers (32.8%), nullipa.ous (56%), coming from home (69.2%), not ha.ing performed CPN (52%), not schooled (68%) a.d housewives. The prima.y fa.tor wa. the risk fa.tor (52.4%). Gesta.iona. a.e grea.er tha. 37 wa. the most concerned (62%). The rea.ons for consulta.ion a.e domina.ed by hea.a.he (76%) a.d vertigo (68%). The ma.n type of hypertension wa. pre-ecla.psia.(48%) followed by Tra.sient HTa.(28%). The predomina.t clinica. form during the a.mission wa. pre-ecla.psia.(47.2%) followed by ecla.psia.(23%). a. the first minute, 35.68% of newborns ha. a. a.Ga. score of less tha. 7 a.d the fifth 25.5% ha. a.score of less tha. 7. Feta. morbidity wa. domina.ed by feta. hypotrophy (30.19%), followed by prema.urity (23.92%). In 90.90% of hypotrophy, there a.e ?85.24% of prema.ure ba.ies, 95.55% of SFa. a.d 80% of MIU;the serum uric a.id wa. grea.er tha. 350 mmol. Rena. cell ca.cinoma.(RCC) is a.common ca.cer, but its pa.crea.ic meta.ta.is is unusua.. We report a.ca.e of a.50-yea.-old ma.e who wa. under the first line of trea.ment for a.meta.ta.ic RCC since 2009. In a.gust 2015, he showed up to the da. unit with a.cholesta.ic ja.ndice, a.d the investiga.ions led to the discovery of a.liver function a.tera.ion a.d a.pa.crea.ic ma.s. The biopsy of the inopera.le ma.s revea.ed a.RCC meta.ta.is. Lower ga.trointestina. bleeding (LGIB) is defined a. bleeding from a.source dista. to the Liga.ent of Treitz. The prima.y step is to identify severe hemorrha.es tha. ma. be life-threa.ening for pa.ients (10% of ca.es of LGIB). The ma.a.ement depends on the severity of the bleeding, the dia.nostic a.d thera.eutic mea.s of the pa.ient’s reception center. Pa.ient with a.ute LGIB, in ca.e of nega.ivity of endoscopic a.d ra.iologica. exa.ina.ions, ca. be a.surgica. indica.ion with possibility of intra.pera.ive colonoscopy. We report a.ca.e of urgent surgica. ma.a.ement with intra.pera.ive colonoscopy in a.pa.ient with severe a.ute LGIB.
