Ross’ epidemic model describing the tra.smission of ma.a.ia.uses two cla.ses of infection, one for huma.s a.d one for mosquitoes. This pa.er presents a.stocha.tic extension of a.deterministic vector-borne epidemic model ba.ed only on the cla.s of huma. infectious. The consistency of the model is esta.lished by proving tha. the stocha.tic dela. differentia. equa.ion describing the model ha. a.unique positive globa. solution. The extinction of the disea.e is studied through the a.a.ysis of the sta.ility of the disea.e-free equilibrium sta.e a.d the persistence of the model. Fina.ly, we introduce some numerica. simula.ions to illustra.e the obta.ned results.

In this pa.er, we trea. the sprea. of COVID-19 using a.dela.ed stocha.tic SVIRS (Susceptible, Infected, Recovered, Susceptible) epidemic model with a.genera. incidence ra.e a.d differentia. susceptibility. We sta.t with a.deterministic model, then a.d ra.dom perturba.ions on the conta.t ra.e using white noise to obta.n a.stocha.tic model. We first show tha. the dela.ed stocha.tic differentia. equa.ion tha. describes the model ha. a.unique globa. positive solution for a.y positive initia. va.ue. Under the condition R0 ≤ 1, we prove the a.most sure a.ymptotic sta.ility of the disea.e-free equilibrium of the model.

Informa.ion on the dyna.ics of sa.a.na. is importa.t to a.country's pla. to overcome the problems of uncontrolled development a.d environmenta. ha.a.ds. Ta.ing the reserve pa.tielle de Dosso, Niger a. the ca.e study a.ea. this pa.er a.a.yzed the long-term la.d use la.d cover cha.ge from 2002 to 2022. Sa.ellite ima.es were processed by using Google Ea.th Engine (GEE). Therefore, four ma.or la.d cover cla.ses were identified ba.ed on spectra. cha.a.teristics of La.d sa., na.ely, built-up, vegeta.ion, cropla.d, ba.e la.d a.d wa.er. The result revea.ed tha. ba.ren a.d built-up a.ea. increa.ed a. the expense of vegeta.ion a.d wa.er. From the four ma.or la.d use la.d cover the la.ge a.ea.is covered by vegeta.ion which comprises a.out 192963.5 hecta.es followed by cropla.d a.d wa.er consisting of 32506.43 a.d 1596.4 hecta.es respectively. The built-up a.ea.ga.ned substa.tia. a.ea.(most) during the study period. The reduction in some of the la.d cover/uses underlines the da.gerous trend of the pressure poised by popula.ion growth a.d the cha.ging functiona.ity. La.d cover cha.ge is influenced by a.va.iety of societa. fa.tors opera.ing on severa. spa.ia. a.d tempora. levels. The a.ea.estima.es a.d spa.ia. distributions of the LULC cla.ses produced from the current study will a.sist loca. a.thorities, ma.a.ers, a.d other sta.eholders in decision-ma.ing a.d pla.ning rega.ding forest la.d cover a.d uses.

a.ute intestina. obstruction represents a.very frequent a.mission to surgica. emergencies. The a.m of our study wa. to ma.e a.descriptive a.a.ysis of the ma.a.ement of a.ute intestina. obstructions a. the level of hospita. esta.lishments in Ziguinchor. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This wa. a.retrospective, descriptive, multicenter study from the period of Ja.ua.y 1, 2017 to December 31, 2021. Pa.ients over 15 yea.s of a.e a.mitted for occlusive syndrome in the two surgica. depa.tments of the Ziguinchor regiona. hospita.s were included in the study. Epidemiologica., dia.nostic, thera.eutic a.d evolutiona.y da.a.were studied. Results: a.ute intestina. occlusions a.counted for 8.3% of a.missions. a.tota. of 163 pa.ients were enrolled, 61.9% were men, sex ra.io of 1.6. The mea. a.e wa. 48.7 yea.s. The a.era.e consulta.ion time wa. 74.8 hours (3.12 da.s). The tota. occlusive syndrome wa. in 48.5% of the ca.es. a.domina. pa.n wa. present in 87.1%, vomiting in 74.2%, cessa.ion of ma.ter a.d ga. in 60.7% a.d meteorism in 36.2%. Biologica. la. tests reported hyperleukocytosis in 28.1% of the ca.es. a.domina. CT sca.s were performed in 71.2%, confirming the dia.nosis in 90.5% a.d determining the etiology in 93.1%. The zone of the obstruction in the sma.l bowel wa. 62.7%, a.d in the colon in 37.3%. Functiona. occlusions a.counted for 22.7% of ca.es a.d mecha.ica. for 77.3%, including 120 ca.es of stra.gula.ion occlusion (95.2%) a.d 6 ca.es of obstruction. Etiologies were domina.ed by a.hesions a.d/or fibrous ba.ds (61.2%). Medica. trea.ment resolved the occlusive syndrome in 9.2% of ca.es, instrumenta. trea.ment in 17.1% a.d surgica. trea.ment in 77.3%. a.hesiolysis/section of fibrous ba.ds (55.7%), detorsion (14.3%) a.d resection a.a.tomosis (11.9%) were the most common surgica. procedures. Introduction: Splenectomy is the surgica. remova. of the spleen. It ca. be performed during va.ious pa.hologies, ra.ging from a.domina. tra.ma.to hemoglobinopa.hies. The progress ma.e in the knowledge of the immune functions of the spleen a.d the fea. of post-splenectomy infectious complica.ions ha.e fa.ored the development of surgica. or non-surgica. splenic preserva.ion techniques ca.ling into question the dogma.of splenectomy. The a.m of this study wa. to determine the indica.ions for splenectomy. Methodology: This wa. a.retrospective, descriptive study la.ting 5 yea.s in the genera. surgery depa.tment of the Igna.e Deen Na.iona. Hospita.. a.l files of splenectomized pa.ients were included, our va.ia.les were clinica., thera.eutic a.d progressive. Results: We collected 42 ca.es of splenectomies out of the 2478 surgica. procedures performed, representing 1.7% of the depa.tment’s surgica. a.tivities. The a.era.e a.e wa. 44 yea.s. The a.e group of 41 to 50 yea.s wa. the most represented, i.e. 26% (n = 11) of ca.es. Sex ra.io = 1. a.domina. pa.n wa. the rea.on for consulta.ion in pa.ients, i.e. 100% (n = 42) of ca.es. The a.tecedents were domina.ed by recurrent ma.a.ia.with 52.3% (n = 22) of ca.es, then recurrent a.emia.in 21% (n = 9), a.d 16.7% (n = 7) ha. sickle cell disea.e. Splenomega.y wa. found in 31 pa.ients, or 73.6%. Ultra.ound wa. performed in a.l pa.ients. The indica.ions for splenectomy were: isola.ed splenomega.y with risk of rupture (38%, n = 16), hypersplenism (26%, n = 11) a.d tra.ma.to the spleen (19.04%, n = 8). Tota. splenectomy wa. performed in a.l ca.es. The surgica. consequences were fa.ora.le in 85.7%, (n = 36) with morbidity of 14% (n = 6) a.d morta.ity of 9.52% (n = 4). The a.era.e length of hospita.iza.ion wa. 10.4 da.s with extremes of 1 a.d 22 da.s. Conclusion: Splenectomy constitutes a.rela.ively common surgica. procedure in our context. Introduction: The a.m of this study wa. to contribute to improving the qua.ity of GEUR ma.a.ement in the genera. surgery depa.tment a.d in the ma.ernity wa.d of the Igna.e Deen na.iona. hospita., Cona.ry University Hospita.. Methodology: This wa. a.retrospective, descriptive study la.ting two yea.s (Ja.ua.y 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022), ca.ried out in the genera. surgery a.d gyneco-obstetrics depa.tments of the Igna.e Deen na.iona. hospita., Cona.ry University Hospita.. We included a.l pa.ients with a.ruptured ectopic pregna.cy who received surgica. trea.ment during the study period. Results: We collected 13,524 ca.es of surgica. interventions in the two services, a.ong them, we recorded 89 ca.es or 0.66% GEUR. The a.era.e a.e of the pa.ients wa. 24.26 yea.s. Brides were the most represented with 80.96% of ca.es. Women pra.ticing a.libera. profession were 51.69% (n = 46) a.d housewives 26.97% (n = 24). Clinica.ly, a.enorrhea.wa. noted in a.l pa.ients, i.e. 100%, a.domina.-pelvic pa.n in 95.2% (n = 85) of ca.es, metrorrha.ia.in 94.08% (n = 84), a.domina.-pelvic sensitivity in 97.44% (n = 87) of ca.es a.d a.emia.in 85.39% of ca.es. The GEUR wa. a.pulla.y in 69.66% (n = 62) ca.es. Sa.pingectomy wa. performed in 90.72% (n = 81). The surgica. outcomes were sa.isfa.tory in 98.87% (n = 88) of ca.es. We recorded one ca.e of surgica. site infection. We ha.e not recorded a.y dea.hs. The a.era.e length of hospita.iza.ion wa. 4 da.s. Conclusion: GEUR is rela.ively high in our context. a.good understa.ding of the prognostic fa.tors of GEUR, a.a.eness a.d fa.ily pla.ning could reduce GEUR.

Introduction: a.ute corona.y syndrome is often the first event of corona.y disea.e of young subjects. Objective: To study sociodemogra.hic, clinica., pa.a.linica., thera.eutic a.d evolutiona.y a.pects of a.ute corona.y syndrome of young subjects. Pa.ients a.d Methods: Descriptive cross-sectiona. study with prospective recruitment from October 01, 2020 to Ma.ch 31, 2022. Were included a.l pa.ients a.mitted for a.ute corona.y syndrome whose a.e wa. less or equa. to 45 yea.s a.d who ha. undergone corona.y a.giogra.hy a. the Mother-Child University Hospita. on Luxembourg from Ba.a.o. Results: During the study period, we collected 60 pa.ient files out of 198. These 60 pa.ient files met our inclusion criteria. Hospita. frequency wa. 30.30%. a.era.e a.e of pa.ients wa. 40.43 ± 3.9 yea.s. Sex ra.io M/F wa. 5.3. Ma.n ca.diova.cula. risk fa.tor wa. smoking toba.co (23.42%), followed by dyslipidemia.(13.92%). Functiona. signs were domina.ed by a.gina.62% followed by dyspnea.25.3%. Persistent ST-segment eleva.ion on electroca.diogra. wa. present in 76.4%. Left ventricula. systolic dysfunction wa. present in 26.5%. Time to first medica. conta.t wa. more tha. 12 hours in 62.7% of ca.es. Ra.ia. a.proa.h wa. a.opted in 94% of ca.es. Corona.y a.giogra.hy wa. pa.hologica. in 85% (n = 51) of ca.es. Lesions were single-vessel disea.e in 47.1% a.d culprit a.tery wa. a.terior interventricula. in 51% of ca.es. Dua. a.ti-pla.elet a.grega.ion wa. a.pirin a.d tica.relor in 91.8% of ca.es. a.giopla.ty wa. performed in a.l pa.ients who ha. significa.t a.norma.ities a. corona.y a.giogra.hy. Introduction: a.ute corona.y syndromes (a.S) a.e a.dia.nostic a.d thera.eutic emergency. Objective: Studying the fea.ibility, difficulties a.d results of corona.y a.giopla.ty in a.ute corona.y syndromes a. the Luxembourg Mother-Child University Hospita. in Ba.a.o. Pa.ients a.d Methods: Cross-sectiona., descriptive study with prospective recruitment over 18 months from September 2020 to Februa.y 2022. a.l pa.ients a.ed a. lea.t 18 yea.s old a.mitted for SCa.a.d ha.ing undergone PCI during the study period were included. Result: We collected 249 pa.ients for SCa. of whom 160 underwent a.giopla.ty, either a. a.giopla.ty/SCa.ra.io of 0.64. The a.era.e a.e of the pa.ients wa. 59.54 ± 11.62 with extremes of 32 a.d 92 yea.s. The a.e group of 45 to 65 yea.s wa. the most representa.ive. The predomina.ce wa. ma.e, sex ra.io of 2.4. The ma.n ca.diova.cula. risk fa.tors were high blood pressure (58.23%) a.d dia.etes (45.78%). Persistent ST-segment eleva.ion on the electroca.diogra. wa. present in 71.48%. The trea.ment time wa. more tha. 12 hours a.ter the first medica. conta.t in 95.5%. The a.proa.h wa. ra.ia. in 96.5% of ca.es. Corona.ogra.hy wa. pa.hologica. in 91.16% of our pa.ients. The lesions were tri-truncula. in 34.13% with the a.terior inter ventricula. a. culprit a.tery in 72% of ca.es. The ma.ority of pa.ients (64%) ha. undergone a.giopla.ty with impla.ta.ion of a. a.tive stent. a.giopla.ty wa. performed successfully in 98% a.d per procedura. morta.ity wa. 1.87%. Only 6.45% of a.S with ST eleva.ion benefited from prima.y a.giopla.ty. Conclusion: Percuta.eous corona.y intervention is performed routinely in our center with sa.isfa.tory results. Difficulties exist, rela.ed to the dia.nostic dela. of a.S a.d the high cost of a.giopla.ty.

The cha.a.teriza.ion of the performa.ces of a.PV cell is linked to intrinsic fa.tors of this cell. It is therefore importa.t for us to identify the fa.ora.le or unfa.ora.le conditions tha. a.fect the performa.ce of PV cells. It is from this perspective tha. it seems judicious to us to study the simulta.eous influence of the hea.ing of the ba.e a.d a. externa. electric field on the performa.ce of a.PV cell under intense illumina.ion of 50 suns. Two phenomena.contribute to the hea.ing of the ba.e of a.PV cell which is hea.ing due to the tra.sfer by conduction of sola. ra.ia.ion energy received by the surfa.e of the PV cell a.d the hea. genera.ed inside the PV cell by va.ious phenomena.linked to the movement of photogenera.ed cha.ged ca.riers. In this study, we ta.e into a.count the hea.ing linked to the movement of the cha.ged ca.riers in the ba.e. a.ter a.ma.hema.ica. modeling of the PV cell considered, some hypotheses a.e formula.ed a.d the expressions of the electrica. pa.a.eters a.e esta.lished a. a.function of the electric field a.d ba.e tempera.ure. Subsequently, we use numerica. simula.ion to highlight the beha.ior of theses pa.a.eters a. a.function of tempera.ure a.d of the intensity of the electric field. The results show tha. for a.y given tempera.ure, the orienta.ion of the electric field a. considered in our work improves the performa.ce of the PV cell while high tempera.ures degra.e these performa.ces. Furthermore, the a.a.ysis of the curves shows tha. the ha.mful effect of tempera.ure on the performa.ce of a.PV cell is more a.centua.ed a. la.ge va.ues of electric field.
