In this article, we report the principle and conceptual design of a fundamentally different technology in fabricating high precision aberration free optical devices. The tip-tilt of facet in a mirror array is produced by digitally controlled line-tilts of rows and columns. It has not only provided a cost-effective designing methodology in optical physics but also led to a much finer precision of 1 mili arc sec or less. As examples of the application of the proposed digitalised optics, two case studies have been given： a 10 m Schmidt telescope （off-axis） and an 8 m Cassegrain telescope （on-axis）.

A general solution of sun tracking for an arbitrarily oriented heliostat towards an arbitrarily located target on the earth is published. With the most general form of solar tracking formulae, it is seen that the used azimuthelevation, spinning-elevation tracking formulae etc. are the special cases of it. The possibilities of utilizing the general solution and its significance in solar energy engineering are discussed.

Objective:To determine the true prevalence of soil-transmitted helminth infections in the Malaysian aborigines using real-time ***:A total of 122 aborigines from seven tribes were recruited from settlements and nearby hospitals which served the communities,located in four states in Peninsular *** stool samples were examined for the presence of soil-transmitted helminth using real-time PCR and *** latter included the direct wet mount and formalin-ether concentration technique(FECT).The infection load in FECT-positive samples was determined by the Kato-Katz *** real-time analyzer detected five helminth species using two sets of ***:The real-time PCR detected soil-transmitted helminth in 98.4% samples(n=122),which were 1.56 times higher than by *** lumbricoides and Trichuris trichiura were detected in more than 90% of the samples,while hookworm was detected in 46.7%(Necator americanus) and 13.9%(Ancylostoma sp.)of the *** with previous reports on the Malaysian aborigines showed that the real-time PCR markedly improved the detection of Ascaris lumbricoides,hookworm and Strongyloides *** real-time PCR detected poly-helminths in 92.6%of the samples compared to 28.7% by *** addition,27 samples(22.1%) showed amplification of Strongyloides stercoralis ***:The real-time PCR showed very high prevalence rates of soil-transmitted helminth infections in the aborigines and is the recommended method for epidemiological investigation of soiltransmitted helminth infections in this population.

The existing dataset for visual dialog comprises multiple rounds of questions and a diverse range of image ***,it faces challenges in overcoming visual semantic limitations,particularly in obtaining sufficient context from visual and textual aspects of *** paper proposes a new visual dialog dataset called Diverse History-Dialog(DS-Dialog)to address the visual semantic limitations faced by the existing ***-Dialog groups relevant histories based on their respective Microsoft Common Objects in Context(MSCOCO)image categories and consolidates them for each ***,each MSCOCO image category consists of top relevant histories extracted based on their semantic relationships between the original image caption and historical *** relevant histories are consolidated for each image,and DS-Dialog enhances the current dataset by adding new context-aware relevant history to provide more visual semantic context for each *** new dataset is generated through several stages,including image semantic feature extraction,keyphrase extraction,relevant question extraction,and relevant history dialog *** DS-Dialog dataset contains about 2.6 million question-answer pairs,where 1.3 million pairs correspond to existing VisDial’s question-answer pairs,and the remaining 1.3 million pairs include a maximum of 5 image features for each VisDial image,with each image comprising 10-round relevant question-answer ***,a novel adaptive relevant history selection is proposed to resolve missing visual semantic information for each ***-Dialog is used to benchmark the performance of previous visual dialog models and achieves better performance than previous ***,the proposed DSDialog model achieves an 8% higher mean reciprocal rank(MRR),11% higher R@1%,6% higher R@5%,5% higher R@10%,and 8% higher normalized discounted cumulative gain(NDCG)compared to ***-Dialog also achieves approximately 1 point improvement o

Awareness and perceived barriers in practicing healthy living to prevent hypertension among young adults in Malaysia

Objective:To investigate the knowledge,attitude,and practice levels and perceived barriers towards healthy living to prevent hypertension among young adults in ***:Adults aged 18-25 years reside in Malaysia were recruited via convenience *** characteristics,medical knowledge on hypertension(K1),knowledge(K),attitude(A),practice(P)and perceived barriers in practising healthy living to prevent hypertension were *** scores were categorised into good(80%-100%),upper-moderate(70%-79%),lower-moderate(60%-69%)and poor(<60%).Multivariate analysis was performed to test the difference and relationship of *** correlation test was used to test the association of two continuous ***:A total of 1218 respondents participated in this *** mean score of K1 was 54.1%,while the knowledge,attitude,and practice towards healthy living were 82.7%,78.2%and 68.5%*** prevalence of high salt intake,high fat intakes,low fibre intake,sedentary lifestyle and lack of annual health screening was 83.2%,81.4%,70.3%,and 73.2%,*** BMI was associated with low P scores,while lower socio-economic status,unawareness of self-blood pressure reading and those without family history of hypertension were associated with lower scores in K1,K,A,and P.K1,K,A and P are significantly *** main perceived barriers included self-proclaimed good fit status,frequent consumption of out-of-home food,and addiction to high salt/fat ***:The national strategies for health management should be prioritized in reducing salt and fat,promoting annual health screening,physical activities and fibre intake in this age group.

Advancements in diagnostic systems for metastatic cancer over the last few decades have played a significant role in providing patients with effective treatment by evaluating the characteristics of cancer *** the progress made in cancer prognosis,we still rely on the visual analysis of tissues or cells from histopathologists,where the subjectivity of traditional manual interpretation *** paper presents the development of a dual diagnosis and treatment tool using an in vitro acoustic tweezers platform with a 50MHz ultrasonic transducer for label-free trapping and bursting of human breast cancer *** cancer cell detection and classification,the mechanical properties of a single cancer cell were quantified by single-beam acoustic tweezers(SBAT),a noncontact assessment tool using a focused acoustic ***-mimicking phantoms and agarose hydrogel spheres(AHSs)served to standardize the biomechanical characteristics of the *** on the analytical comparison of deformability levels between the cells and the AHSs,the mechanical properties of the cells could be indirectly measured by interpolating the Young’s moduli of the *** a result,the calculated Young’s moduli,i.e.,1.527kPa for MDA-MB-231(highly invasive breast cancer cells),2.650kPa for MCF-7(weakly invasive breast cancer cells),and 2.772 kPa for SKBR-3(weakly invasive breast cancer cells),indicate that highly invasive cancer cells exhibited a lower Young’s moduli than weakly invasive cells,which indicates a higher deformability of highly invasive cancer cells,leading to a higher metastasis ***-cell treatment may also be carried out by bursting a highly invasive cell with high-intensity,focused ultrasound.
