Rational molecular design of efficient yellow-red dendrimer TADF for solution-processed OLEDs: a comb.ned effect of sub.titution position and strength of the donors

The development of high-performance solution-processed red organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) remains a challenge,particularly in terms of maintaining efficiency at high luminance. Here, we designed and synthesized four novel orange-red thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) dendrimers that are solution-processab.e: 2GCz b., 2DPACz b., 2Fb.2GCz and 2Fb.2DPACz. We systematically investigated the effect of sub.titution position and strength of donors on the optoelectronic properties. The reverse intersystem crossing rate constant(kRISC) of the emitters having donors sub.tituted at positions 11and 12 of the dib.nzo[a,c]phenazine(b.) is more than 10-times faster than that of compounds sub.tituted having donors sub.tituted at positions 3 and 6. Compound 2DPACz b., containing stronger donors than 2GCz b., exhib.ts a red-shifted emission and smaller singlet-triplet energy splitting, ΔE_(ST), of 0.01 e V. The solution-processed OLED with 10 wt% 2DPACz b. doped in m CP emitted at 640 nm and showed a maximum external quantum efficiency(EQE_(max)) of 7.8%, which was effectively maintained out to a luminance of 1,000 cd m-2. Such a device's performance at relevant display luminance is among the highest for solution-processed red TADF OLEDs. The efficiency of the devices was improved significantly b. using 4Cz IPN as an assistant dopant in a hyperfluorescence(HF) configuration, where the 2DPACz b. HF device shows an EQEmaxof 20.0% at λEL of 605 nm and remains high at 11.8% at a luminance of 1,000 cd m-2, which makes this device one of the highest efficiency orange-to-red HF SP-OLEDs to date.

Chemical-assisted MMP reduction on methane-oil systems:Implications for natural gas injection to enhanced oil recovery

***,the main challenge in this process is the high minimum miscib.lity pressure(MMP)b.tween natural gas and crude oil,which limits its application and recovery factor,especially in hightemperature ***,we present a novel investigation to quantify the effect of chemicalassisted MMP reduction on the oil recovery ***,we measured the interfacial tension(IFT)of the methane-oil system in the presence of chemical or CO_(2) to calculate the MMP reduction at a constant temperature(373K)using the vanishing interfacial tension(VIT)***,we performed three coreflooding experiments to quantify the effect of MMP reduction on the oil recovery factor under different injection *** interfacial tension measurements show that adding a small fraction(1.5 wt%)of the tested surfactant(SOLOTERRA ME-6)achieved 9%of MMP reduction,while adding 20 wt%of CO_(2) to the methane yields 13%of MMP ***,the coreflooding results highlight the significance of achieving miscib.lity during gas injection,as the ultimate recovery factor increased from 65.5%under immiscib.e conditions to 77.2%using chemical-assisted methane,and to 79%using gas mixture after achieving near miscib.e *** results demonstrate the promising potential of the MMP reduction to signifi-cantly increase the oil recovery factor during gas ***,these results will likely expand the application envelop of the miscib.e gas injection,in addition to the environmental b.nefits of utilizing the produced gas b. re-injection/recycling instead of flaring which contrib.tes to reducing the greenhouse gas emissions.

The wear profile analysis,ob.ained b. different trib.meters,is essential to characterise the wear ***,most of the availab.e methods did not take the stress distrib.tion over the wear profile in consideration,which causes inaccurate *** this study,the wear profile of polymer–metal contact,ob.ained b. b.ock-on-ring configuration under dry sliding conditions,was analysed using finite element modelling(FEM)and experimental ***’s wear equation was integrated into a developed FORTRAN-UMESHMOTION code linked with Ab.qus software.A varying wear coefficient(k)values covering b.th running-in and steady state regions,and a range of applied loads involving b.th mild and severe wear regions were measured and implemented in the *** FEM was in good agreement with the *** model reproduced the stress distrib.tion profiles under variab.e testing conditions,while their values were affected b. the sliding direction and maximum wear depth(hmax).The largest area of the wear profile,exposed to the average contact stresses,is defined as the normal *** the critical zones were characterized b. high stress concentrations reaching up to 10 times of that at the normal *** wear profile was mapped to identify the critical zone where the stress concentration is the key point in this *** surface features were examined in different regions using scanning electron microscope(SEM).Ultimately,SEM analysis showed severer damage features in the critical zone than that in the normal zone as proven b. ***,the literature data presented and considered the wear features the same at any point of the wear *** this study,the normal zone was determined at a stress value of ab.ut 0.5 MPa,whereas the critical zone was at ab.ut 5.5 *** wear b.haviour of these two zones showed totally different features from one another.

Compliance with Oral Anti-Diab.tic Treatment in Lome

Ob.ective: The ob.ective of this study was to assess adherence to antidiab.tic therapy in type II diab.tic patients and factors associated with Lomé. Method: This was a descriptive ob.ervational study conducted among diab.tics in diab.tes care centers from May 1, 2020 to Octob.r 1, 2020, for a period of 6 months. Results: A total of 300 patients were questioned. The mean age was 56.61 years (standard deviation = 11.7). The sex ratio was 0.6. All the patients were on drug treatment, 83.4% of whom were on metformin and 37.5% on Glib.nclamide. In 58.3% of the cases, the patients were on dual therapy and 96.2% had an ab.venormal glycated hemoglob.n value. There was a medication adherence prob.em with poor adherence in 30.7%. b.ing aged 50 and over (ORC = 1.78, p = 0.048), playing sports (ORR = 1.87, p = 0.046), have reaching a higher level of education (ORR = 5.78, p = 0.005) significantly increased the chances of patients having a good/minimal prob.em of adherence. Conclusion: Diab.tes affects in Togo, more women than men with a predominance of those aged 50 and over. Adherence to therapy remains a challenge.

Pre-polymerized vinyl trimethoxy silane(PVTMS)@MWCNT nano-aerogel system was constructed via radical polymerization,sol-gel transition and supercritical CO_(2)*** fab.icated organic-inorganic hyb.id PVTMS@MWCNT aerogel structure shows nano-pore size(30-40 nm),high specific surface area(559 m^(2)g^(−1)),high void fraction(91.7%)and enhanced mechanical property:(1)the nano-pore size is b.neficial for efficiently b.ocking thermal conduction and thermal convection via Knudsen effect(b.neficial for infrared(IR)stealth);(2)the heterogeneous interface was b.neficial for IR reflection(b.neficial for IR stealth)and MWCNT polarization loss(b.neficial for electromagnetic wave(EMW)attenuation);(3)the high void fraction was b.neficial for enhancing thermal insulation(b.neficial for IR stealth)and EMW impedance match(b.neficial for EMW attenuation).Guided b. the ab.ve theoretical design strategy,PVTMS@MWCNT nano-aerogel shows superior EMW ab.orption property(cover all Ku-b.nd)and thermal IR stealth property(ΔT reached 60.7℃).Followed b. a facial comb.nation of the ab.ve nano-aerogel with graphene film of high electrical conductivity,an extremely high electromagnetic interference shielding material(66.5 db.2.06 mm thickness)with superior ab.orption performance of an average ab.orption-to-reflection(A/R)coefficient ratio of 25.4 and a low reflection b.ndwidth of 4.1 GHz(A/R ratio more than 10)was experimentally ob.ained in this work.
