Dynamic DNA nanotechnology plays a significant role in nanomedicine and information science due to its high programmability based on Watson-Crick base pairing and nanoscale *** DNA machines and networks have been widely used in various fields,including molecular imaging,biosensors,drug delivery,information processing,and logic *** serve as crucial components for information compilation and transfer,allowing the conversion of information from diverse application scenarios into a format recognized and applied by DNA ***,there are only a few encoder designs with DNA ***,the molecular priority encoder is hardly *** this study,we introduce allosteric DNAzyme-based encoders for information *** design of the allosteric domain and the recognition arm allows the input and output to be independent of each other and freely *** pre-packaged mode design achieves uniformity of baseline dynamics and dynamics *** also integrated non-nucleic acid molecules into the encoder through the aptamer design of the allosteric ***,we developed the 2^(n)-n encoder and the EndoⅣ-assisted priority encoder inspired by immunoglobulin's molecular structure and effector *** our knowledge,the proposed encoder is the first enzyme-free DNA encoder with DNA output,and the priority encoder is the first molecular priority encoder in the DNA reaction *** encoders avoid complex operations on a single molecule,and their simple structure facilitates their application in complex DNA circuits and biological scenarios.

The vibration disturbance from an external environment affects the machining accuracy of ultra-precision machining *** active vibration-isolation systems(AVIS)have been developed based on static *** a vibration-isolation load changes dynamically during ultra-precision turning lathe machining,the system parameters change,and the efficiency of the active vibration-isolation system based on the traditional control strategy *** solve this problem,this paper proposes a vibration-isolation control strategy based on a genetic algorithm-back propagation neural network-PID control(GA-BP-PID),which can automatically adjust the control parameters according to the machining ***-isolation simulations and experiments based on passive vibration isolation,a PID algorithm,and the GA-BP-PID algorithm under dynamic load machining conditions were *** experimental results demonstrated that the active vibration-isolation control strategy designed in this study could effectively attenuate vibration disturbances in the external environment under dynamic load *** design is reasonable and feasible.

Trajectory tracking guidance of interceptor via prescribed performance integral sliding mode with neural network disturbance observer

This paper investigates interception missiles’trajectory tracking guidance problem under wind field and external disturbances in the boost ***,the velocity control in such trajectory tracking guidance systems of missiles is *** our contribution,the velocity control channel is designed to deal with the intractable velocity problem and improve tracking *** global prescribed performance function,which guarantees the tracking error within the set range and the global convergence of the tracking guidance system,is first proposed based on the traditional ***,a tracking guidance strategy is derived using the integral sliding mode control techniques to make the sliding manifold and tracking errors converge to zero and avoid ***,an improved switching control law is introduced into the designed tracking guidance algorithm to deal with the chattering problem.A back propagation neural network(BPNN)extended state observer(BPNNESO)is employed in the inner loop to identify *** obtained results indicate that the proposed tracking guidance approach achieves the trajectory tracking guidance objective without and with disturbances and outperforms the existing tracking guidance schemes with the lowest tracking errors,convergence times,and overshoots.

Steam reforming of acetic acid over Ni/biochar of low metal-loading:Involvement of biochar in tailoring reaction intermediates renders superior catalytic performance

Biochar is a reactive carrier as it may be partially gasified with steam in steam reforming,which could influence the formation of reaction intermediates and modify catalytic ***,the Ni/biochar as well as two comparative catalysts,Ni/Al_(2)O_(3) and Ni/SiO_(2),with low nickel loading(2%(mass))was conducted to probe involvement of the varied carriers in the steam *** results indicated that the Ni/biochar performed excellent catalytic activity than Ni/SiO_(2) and Ni/Al_(2)O_(3),as the biochar carrier facilitated quick conversion of the -OH from dissociation of steam to gasify the oxygen-rich carbonaceous intermediates like C=O and C-O-C,resulting in low coverage while high exposure of nickel species for maintaining the superior catalytic *** converse,strong adsorption of aliphatic intermediates over Ni/Al_(2)O_(3) and Ni/SiO_(2) induced serious coking with polymeric coke as the main type(21.5%and 32.1%,respectively),which was significantly higher than that over Ni/biochar(3.9%).The coke over Ni/biochar was mainly aromatic or catalytic type with nanotube morphology and high *** high resistivity of Ni/biochar towards coking was due to the balance between formation of coke and gasification of coke and partially biochar with steam,which created developed mesopores in spent Ni/biochar while the coke blocked pores in Ni/Al_(2)O_(3) and Ni/SiO_(2) catalysts.

A Facile Li2TiO3 Surface Modification to Improve the Structure Stability and Electrochemical Performance of Full Concentration Gradient Li-Rich Oxides

Full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides are catching lots of interest as the next generation cathode for lithium-ion batteries due to their high discharge voltage,reduced voltage decay and enhanced rate performance,whereas the high lithium residues on its surface impairs the structure stability and long'term cycle performance. Herein,a facile multifunctional surface modification method is implemented to eliminate surface lithium residues of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides by a wet chemistry reaction with tetrabutyl titanate and the post-annealing process. It realizes not only a stable Li2TiO3coating layer with 3D diffusion channels for fast Li+ions transfer,but also dopes partial Ti4+ions into the sub-surface region of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides to further strengthen its crystal structure. Consequently,the modified full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides exhibit improved structure stability,elevated thermal stability with decomposition temperature from 289.57℃to321.72℃,and enhanced cycle performance (205.1 mAh g-1after 150 cycles)with slowed voltage drop （1.67 mV per cycle）. This work proposes a facile and integrated modification method to enhance the comprehensive performance of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides,which can facilitate its practical application for developing higher energy density lithium-ion batteries.

How the surface Cu layer affected the activity of Ni foil for alkaline hydrogen evolution

Synthesizing bimetallic nanomaterials,with noble metals as the surface layers and inert metals as the substrates,has been proven to be an effective way to reduce the use of noble metals with maintained catalytic ***,an atomic diffusion from the inert substrate to the surface during the long-term operation has been reported to significantly decrease the *** this work,a series of catalysis-inert Cu-coated Ni foil were fabricated through electrodeposition and their activities for alkaline hydrogen evolution were ***,the Ni/Cu-60 sample showed a similar catalytic property with pure Ni foil and only a slight decrease in HER activity was *** X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results indicated a decreased electron concentration of Cu in Ni/Cu-60,and theoretical calculations further demonstrated the electron transfer between the Ni substrate and Cu *** results reveal that a specific composition or structure of an inert metal layer might not significantly decrease the electrocatalytic activity of active ***,there are more possibilities for the rational design of metal-based catalysts for electrocatalysis.

Mg-Al-hydrotalcite with alkaline sites protects Ni/KIT-6 from formation of amorphous coke in glycerol steam reforming via tailoring reaction intermediates

During steam reforming,the performance of a catalyst and amount/property of coke are closely related to reaction intermediates reaching surface of a ***,modification of reaction intermediates by placing Mg-Al-hydrotalcite above Ni/KIT-6 catalyst in steam reforming of glycerol was conducted at 300 to 600°*** results revealed that the catalytic activity of Ni/KIT-6 in the lower bed was enhanced with either Mg1-Al5-hydrotalcite(containing more acidic sites)or Mg5-Al1-hydrotalcite(containing more alkaline sites)as upper-layer *** in situ infrared characterization of steam reforming demonstrated that Mg-Al-hydrotalcite catalyzed the deoxygenation of glycerol,facilitating the reforming of the partially deoxygenated intermediates over Ni/***-Al-hydrotalcite as protective catalyst,however,did not protect the Ni/KIT-6 from formation of more ***,this did not lead to further deactivation of Ni/KIT-6 while Mg5-Al1-hydrotalcite even substantially enhanced the catalytic stability,even though the coke was much more significant than that in the use of single Ni/KIT-6(52.7%vs.28.6%).The reason beneath this was change of the property of coke from more aliphatic to more ***5-Al1-hydrotalcite catalyzed dehydration of glycerol,producing dominantly reaction intermediates bearing C=C,which formed the catalytic coke of with carbon nanotube as the main form with smooth outer walls as well as higher aromaticity,C/H ratio,crystallinity,crystal carbon size,thermal stability,and resistivity toward oxidation on Ni/KIT-6 in the lower *** comparison,the abundance of acidic sites on Mg1-Al5-hydrotalcite catalyzed the formation of more oxygen-containing species,leading to the formation of carbon nanotubes of rough surface on Ni/KIT-6.

Bacterial meningitis is a serious and potentially life-threatening infection that affects the protective layers surrounding the brain and spinal cord,known as the *** types of bacteria,including Streptococcus pneumoniae,Neisseria meningitidis,and Haemophilus influenzae,can cause this *** populations,such as infants,children,immunocompromised adults,and the elderly,are particularly vulnerable to these *** of bacterial meningitis can manifest suddenly and may include high fever,severe and persistent headache,stiff neck,vomiting,sensitivity to light,and confusion or changes in mental state[1,2].Identifying these symptoms in infants can be more challenging and may lead to long-term disability or death[3].Despite the effectiveness of vaccines,it is crucial to understand how bacteria invade the brain and how our innate immune system responds to infection(Fig.1).

GOES-16 ABI Brightness Temperature Observations Capturing Vortex Rossby Wave Signals during Rapid Intensification of hurricane Irma(2017)

Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite-16(GOES-16) Advanced Baseline Imager(ABI) observations of brightness temperature(TB) are used to examine the temporal evolutions of convection-affected structures of hurricane Irma(2017) during its rapid intensification(RI) period from 0600 to 1800 UTC 4 September *** ABI observations reveal that both an elliptical eye and a spiral rainband that originated from Irma's eyewall obviously exhibit wavenumber-2 TB *** elliptical eye underwent a counterclockwise rotation at a mean speed of a wavenumber-2 vortex Rossby edge wave from 0815 to 1005 UTC 4 *** the following about 2 hours(1025–1255 UTC 4 September),an inner spiral rainband originated from the eyewall and propagated at a phase speed that approximates the vortex Rossby wave(VRW) phase speed calculated from the aircraft reconnaissance *** the RI period of Irma,ABI TB observations show an on–off occurrence of low TB intrusions into the eye,accompanying a phase lock of eyewall TB asymmetries of wavenumbers 1 and 2 and an outward propagation of VRW-like inner spiral rainbands from the *** phase lock leads to an energy growth of Irma's eyewall *** the eye remained clear from 1415 to 1725 UTC 4 September,an inner spiral rainband that originated from a large convective area also had a VRW-like outward propagation,which is probably due to a vertical tilt of *** study suggests a potential link between convection sensitive GOES imager observations and hurricane dynamics.
