Pancreatic cysts are increasingly diagnosed due to expanding use of cross-sectional imaging,but current diagnostic modalities have limited diagnostic ***,a novel through-the-needle microbiopsy forceps has become available,offering the possibility of obtaining cyst-wall *** present a case of 41-year-old male with chronic pancreatitis and a 2-cm pancreatic cyst,initially considered a ***,endoscopic ultrasou-nd guided microbiopsies were successfully obtained,which surprisingly revealed an intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of mixed subtype with low grade *** conclusion,obtaining biopsies from the wall of the pancreatic cystic lesions with this novel instrument is feasible and,as demonstrated in this case,can possibly alter the clinical *** offered enough cellular material,allowing supplemental gene mutation analysis,which combined with other modalities could lead to a more individual approach when treating pancreatic ***,prospective studies are warranted before routine clinical implementation.

Maize cobs are valuable plant residues that can be used for many different purposes,including as a renewable energy *** their value,maize cobs are still underutilized,mainly because people are not aware of their potential and harvesting techniques for their collection are still being ***,this research focused on finding the most suitable energy-and time-efficient method for mechanical collection of maize *** the combine harvester with an additional hopper proved to be the most promising solution,as it allows harvesting and storage of maize grain and maize cobs in one pass,while the harvesting time remains almost the same and the maize cobs are of good quality,as they do not fall on the field.A prototype with enlarged openings in the straw walkers,an additional grab container for maize cobs,a transport auger,a transport cleaning fan with built-in knives,a transport tube and some other assemblies was fabricated and used in *** first test results are very encouraging(94.4%-96.0%purity of maize cobs)and the system has been patented as a promising solution,especially in times when the environmental sustainability of the planet and energy independence are becoming increasingly important.

AIM:This paper describes the procedure of detection of Helicobacter pylori(***)in bile specimens in patients suffering from benign diseases of biliary ducts(lithiasis with/without nonspecific cholangitis). METHODS:The group of 72 patients entering the study consisted of 32 male and 40 female(45 % and 55 %, respectively).Bile was obtained during ERCP in 68 patients, and during cholecystectomy in 4 patients.A fast urease test (FUT)to determine the existence of *** in gastric mucosa was carried out for all the patients during the endoscopic *** existence of genetic material of *** was determined by detection of ure A gene by the method of nested *** results of this reaction were shown by electrophoresis on 10 g·L^(-1)agarose gel in a band of 256 bp. RESULTS:The majority of the patients included in our study had biliary lithiasis without signs of cholangitis(48 patients, 67 %),whereas other patients were complicated by cholangitis(17 patients,24 %).Seven patients(9 %)had normal ERCP,forming thus the control *** the group of patients with lithiasis 26 patients(24.2 %)had positive PCR of *** in bile and among the patients with associated cholangitis positive PCR was detected in 9 patients(52.9 %).Among the seven patients with normal ERCP only one(14 %)had positive PCR of ***.A high percentage of *** infection of gastric mucosa was observed(57 patients,79 %).It was also observed that its slightly higher positivity was in the patients with distinct bile pathology:81% FLIT positive patients in the group with choledocholithiasis alone and 76 % in the group with choledocholithiasis associated with ***-one percent of the patients with regular findings had positive ***: The prevalence of H. pylori infection both in bile and in gastric mucosa in patients with benign diseases of biliary ducts does not show a statistically significant difference in relation to the prevalence of the same with the patients

Characterization of Arithmetic Functions that Preserve the Sum-of-squares Operation

We characterize all functions f ： N → C such that f（m^2 ＋ n^2） = f（m）^2 ＋ f（n）^2 for all m, n ∈ N. It turns out that all such functions can be grouped into three families, namely f ≡ 0, f（n） = ±n （subject to some restrictions on when the choice of the sign is possible） and f（n） =±l/2（again subject to some restrictions on when the choice of the sign is possible）.

GAJA:3D CAD methodology for developing a parametric system for the automatic(re)modeling of the cutting components of compound washer dies

For the designing of cutting-dies is a complex and experience-based process,it is poorly supported by conventional 3D CAD ***,the majority of design activities,including the(re)modeling of those cutting die-components that are directly responsible for performing shaping operations on a sheet-metal stamping part,traditionally still need to be carried-out repetitively,separately,and manually by the *** eliminate some of these drawbacks and upgrade the capabilities of conventional 3D CAD software,this paper proposes a new methodology for the development of a parametric system capable of automatically performing a(re)modeling process of compound washer dies' *** presented methodology integrates CATIA V5 built-in modules,including Part Design,Assembly Design and Knowledge Advisor,publication mechanism,and compound cutting die-design *** system developed by this methodology represents an 'intelligent' assembly template composed of two modules GAJA1 and GAJA2,***1 is responsible for the direct input of the die-design problem regarding the shape,dimensions and material of the stamping part,its extraction in the form of geometric features,and the transferring of relevant design parameters and features to the module ***2 interprets the current values for the input parameters and automatically performs the modeling process of cutting die-components,using die-design knowledge and the company's internal design and manufacturing *** results show that this system significantly shortens the modeling-time for cutting the die-components,improves the modeling-quality,and enables the training of inexperienced designers.

The virtual globe is the default visualization for Digital Earth applications,but it can only show one half of the *** article introduces user-adjustable,on-the-fly projection of georeferenced raster images for web mapping and web GIS *** technique allows users to center a map on arbitrary locations,while still seeing the entire Earth *** web mapping libraries can apply map projection transformations to vector data in the browser,but they do not currently support the projection of raster images at interactive frame *** use the cross-platform WebGL(Web Graphics Library)graphics pipeline for hardware-accelerated projection of raster data in web *** algorithmic techniques–inverse per-fragment projection,and combined forward per-triangle and inverse per-fragment projection–for georeferenced raster imagery are *** resulting raster maps combine the ease of use and flexibility of interactive virtual globes with the ability to show the entire *** adjustable projection of raster imagery allows users to observe global phenomena that are difficult to visualize on virtual globes or traditional maps with static projections.

Bile acid signaling through farnesoid X and TGR5 receptors in hepatobiliary and intestinal diseases

BACKGROUND： The well-known functions of bile acids（BAs） are the emulsification and absorption of lipophilic xenobiotics. However, the emerging evidences in the past decade showed that BAs act as signaling molecules that not only autoregulate their own metabolism and enterohepatic recirculation, but also as important regulators of integrative metabolism by activating nuclear and membrane-bound G protein-coupled receptors. The present review was to get insight into the role of maintenance of BA homeostasis and BA signaling pathways in development and management of hepatobiliary and intestinal *** SOURCES： Detailed and comprehensive search of PubM ed and Scopus databases was carried out for original and review ***： Disturbances in BA homeostasis contribute to the development of several hepatobiliary and intestinal disorders, such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, cholesterol gallstone disease, intestinal diseases and both hepatocellular and colorectal ***： Further efforts made in order to advance the understanding of sophisticated BA signaling network may be promising in developing novel therapeutic strategies related not only to hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal but also systemic diseases.

Population specific fitness response of Drosophila subobscura to lead pollution

Differences in heavy metal tolerance among separate populations of the same species have often been interpreted as local adaptation. Persistence of differences after removing the stressor indicates that mechanisms responsible for the increased tolerance were genetically determined. Drosophila subobscura Collin （Diptera： Drosophilidae） pop- ulations were sampled from two localities with different history of heavy metal pollution, and reared for eight generations in the laboratory on a standard medium and on media with different concentrations of lead （Pb）. To determine whether flies from different natural populations exposed to the Pb-contaminated media in the laboratory show population spe- cific variability in fitness components over generations, experimental groups with different concentrations of lead were assayed in three generations （F2, Fs, and Fs） for fecundity, de- velopmental time, and egg-to-adult viability. On the contaminated medium, fecundity was reduced in later generations and viability was increased, irrespective of the environmental origin of populations. For both populations, developmental time showed a tendency of slowing down on media with lead. Faster development was observed in later generations. Preadaptation to contamination, meaning higher fecundity, higher viability, and faster egg to adult development in all studied generations, was found in D. subobscura originating from the locality with a higher level of heavy metal pollution,

We study properties of a relation in *-rings, called the core-EP (pre)order which was introduced by H. Wang on the set of all n × n complex matrices [Linear Algebra Appl., 2016, 508: 289-300] and has been recently generalized by Y. Gao, J. Chen, and Y. Ke to *-rings [Filomat, 2018, 32: 3073- 3085]. We present new characterizations of the core-EP order in *-rings with identity and introduce the notions of the dual core-EP decomposition and the dual core-EP order in *-rings.
