GAJA:3D CAD methodology for developing a parametric system for the automatic(re)modeling of the cutting components of compound washer dies

For the designing of cutting-dies is a complex and experience-based process,it is poorly supported by conventional 3D CAD ***,the majority of design activities,including the(re)modeling of those cutting die-components that are directly responsible for performing shaping operations on a sheet-metal stamping part,traditionally still need to be carried-out repetitively,separately,and manually by the *** eliminate some of these drawbacks and upgrade the capabilities of conventional 3D CAD software,this paper proposes a new methodology for the development of a parametric system capable of automatically performing a(re)modeling process of compound washer dies' *** presented methodology integrates CATIA V5 built-in modules,including Part Design,Assembly Design and Knowledge Advisor,publication mechanism,and compound cutting die-design *** system developed by this methodology represents an 'intelligent' assembly template composed of two modules GAJA1 and GAJA2,***1 is responsible for the direct input of the die-design problem regarding the shape,dimensions and material of the stamping part,its extraction in the form of geometric features,and the transferring of relevant design parameters and features to the module ***2 interprets the current values for the input parameters and automatically performs the modeling process of cutting die-components,using die-design knowledge and the company's internal design and manufacturing *** results show that this system significantly shortens the modeling-time for cutting the die-components,improves the modeling-quality,and enables the training of inexperienced designers.

BACKGROUND The roles of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)and carbohydrate antigen(CA19-9)in monitoring the patient response to chemotherapy for metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)are not clearly defined,and inflammatory indices,including the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio(LMR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),have been sparsely investigated for this *** To aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the kinetics of CEA,CA19-9,NLR,LMR,PLR and SII in serum and patient response to chemotherapy estimated by computed tomography(CT)in patients with unresectable *** Patients with mCRC treated with a 1st-line and 2nd-line chemotherapy underwent at least 3 whole-body spiral CT scans during response monitoring according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumour 1.1(RECIST 1.1),and simultaneous determination of CEA,CA19-9,neutrophil,lymphocyte,platelet and monocyte levels was *** kinetics of changes in the tumour markers and inflammatory indices were calculated as the percentage change from baseline or nadir,while receiver operating characteristic curves were drawn to select the thresholds to define patients with progressive or responsive disease with the highest sensitivity(Se)and specificity(Sp).The correlation of tumour marker kinetics with inflammatory index changes and RECIST response was determined by univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis and the clinical utility index(CUI).RESULTS A total of 102 patients with mCRC treated with chemotherapy were *** disease(PD),defined as a CEA increase of 25.52%,resulted in an Se of 80.3%,an Sp of 84%,a good CUI negative[CUI(Ve-)]value of 0.75 and a good fraction correct(FC)value of 81.2;at a CEA cut-off of-60.85%with an Se of 100%and an Sp of 35.7%for PD,CT could be avoided in 25.49%of *** 21.49%CA19-9 cut-off for PD had an Se of 66.5%,an Sp of 87.4%,an acceptable CUI(

We characterize all functions f ： N → C such that f（m^2 ＋ n^2） = f（m）^2 ＋ f（n）^2 for all m, n ∈ N. It turns out that all such functions can be grouped into three families, namely f ≡ 0, f（n） = ±n （subject to some restrictions on when the choice of the sign is possible） and f（n） =±l/2（again subject to some restrictions on when the choice of the sign is possible）.

We present photometric analysis of three bright red nova progenitor contact binary systems:ASAS J082151-0612.6,TYC 7281-269-1 and TYC *** primary components in all three systems are solar-type low mass stars with radii somewhat larger than their zero age main sequence *** secondaries,as in most contact binary systems,have radii and luminosities well above their main sequence *** three have extremely low mass ratios ranging from 0.075 to 0.097 and two have high degrees of contact,in excess of 75%.All three have mass ratios and separations below the theoretical values for orbital *** activity,a hallmark of magnetic activity and magnetic braking,considered important in mediating angular momentum loss,is also *** three systems demonstrate the O’Connell effect,and all systems require the introduction of star spots for a better light curve *** addition,we show that ASAS J082151-0612.6 and TYC 7281-269-1 have a UV color excess in the range indicating high chromospheric *** measure of potential significant magnetic activity is X-ray luminosity;TYC 7275-1968-1 and probably also TYC 7281-269-1 have X-ray luminosity well above other contact binary *** conclude that it is likely that all three are unstable and hence are potential merger candidates.

BACKGROUND： The well-known functions of bile acids（BAs） are the emulsification and absorption of lipophilic xenobiotics. However, the emerging evidences in the past decade showed that BAs act as signaling molecules that not only autoregulate their own metabolism and enterohepatic recirculation, but also as important regulators of integrative metabolism by activating nuclear and membrane-bound G protein-coupled receptors. The present review was to get insight into the role of maintenance of BA homeostasis and BA signaling pathways in development and management of hepatobiliary and intestinal *** SOURCES： Detailed and comprehensive search of PubM ed and Scopus databases was carried out for original and review ***： Disturbances in BA homeostasis contribute to the development of several hepatobiliary and intestinal disorders, such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, cholesterol gallstone disease, intestinal diseases and both hepatocellular and colorectal ***： Further efforts made in order to advance the understanding of sophisticated BA signaling network may be promising in developing novel therapeutic strategies related not only to hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal but also systemic diseases.

Differences in heavy metal tolerance among separate populations of the same species have often been interpreted as local adaptation. Persistence of differences after removing the stressor indicates that mechanisms responsible for the increased tolerance were genetically determined. Drosophila subobscura Collin （Diptera： Drosophilidae） pop- ulations were sampled from two localities with different history of heavy metal pollution, and reared for eight generations in the laboratory on a standard medium and on media with different concentrations of lead （Pb）. To determine whether flies from different natural populations exposed to the Pb-contaminated media in the laboratory show population spe- cific variability in fitness components over generations, experimental groups with different concentrations of lead were assayed in three generations （F2, Fs, and Fs） for fecundity, de- velopmental time, and egg-to-adult viability. On the contaminated medium, fecundity was reduced in later generations and viability was increased, irrespective of the environmental origin of populations. For both populations, developmental time showed a tendency of slowing down on media with lead. Faster development was observed in later generations. Preadaptation to contamination, meaning higher fecundity, higher viability, and faster egg to adult development in all studied generations, was found in D. subobscura originating from the locality with a higher level of heavy metal pollution,

We study properties of a relation in *-rings, called the core-EP (pre)order which was introduced by H. Wang on the set of all n × n complex matrices [Linear Algebra Appl., 2016, 508: 289-300] and has been recently generalized by Y. Gao, J. Chen, and Y. Ke to *-rings [Filomat, 2018, 32: 3073- 3085]. We present new characterizations of the core-EP order in *-rings with identity and introduce the notions of the dual core-EP decomposition and the dual core-EP order in *-rings.
