With the rapid development of high-power-density electronic devices,interface thermal resistance has become a critical barrier for effective heat management in high-performance electronic ***,there is an urgent demand for advanced thermal interface materials(TIMs)with high cross-plane thermal conductivity and excellent compressibility to withstand increasingly complex operating *** achieve this aim,a promising strategy involves vertically arranging highly thermoconductive graphene on ***,with the currently available methods,achieving a balance between low interfacial thermal resistance,bidirectional high thermal conductivity,and large-scale production is ***,we prepared a graphene framework with continuous filler structures in in-plane and cross-plane directions by bonding corrugated graphene to planar graphene *** interface interaction between the graphene paper framework and polymer matrix was enhanced via surface functionalization to reduce the interface thermal *** resulting three-dimensional thermal framework endows the polymer composite material with a cross-plane thermal conductivity of 14.4 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)and in-plane thermal conductivity of 130W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)when the thermal filler loading is 10.1 wt%,with a thermal conductivity enhancement per 1 wt%filler loading of 831%,outperforming various graphene structures as *** its high thermal conductivity,low contact thermal resistance,and low compressive modulus,the developed highly thermoconductive composite material demonstrates superior performance in TIM testing compared with TFLEX-700,an advanced commercial TIM,effectively solving the interfacial heat transfer issues in electronic *** novel filler structure framework also provides a solution for achieving a balance between efficient thermal management and ease of processing.

The energetic bremsstrahlung photons up to 100 MeV produced in heavy ion collisions can be used as a sensitive probe for short-range correlation in atomic nuclei. The energy of the γ-rays can be measured by collecting the Čerenkov light in the medium induced by the fast electrons generated in the Compton scattering or electromagnetic shower of the incident γray. Two types of detectors based on pure water and lead glass as sensitive materials were designed for this purpose. The γresponse and optical photon propagation in the detectors were simulated based on electromagnetic and optical processes in Geant4. The inherent energy resolutions of 0.022(4) + 0.51(2)∕E^(1/2)_(γ) for water and 0.0026(3) + 0.446(3)∕E^(1/2)_(γ) for lead glass were obtained. The geometry sizes of the lead glass and water were optimized to 30 cm × 30 cm × 30 cm and 60 cm × 60 cm ×120 cm, respectively, to detect high-energy γ-rays at 160 MeV. The Hough transform method was applied to reconstruct the direction of the incident γ-rays, providing the ability to experimentally distinguish the high-energy γ-rays produced in the reactions on the target from random background cosmic-ray muons.

AIM:To directly quantify peroxynitrite(OnOO-)using a highly sensitive fluorescence resonance energy transfer probe Rn-nA,investigate the association between OnOOand primary open angle glaucoma(POAG),and clarify whether Rn-nA could be used as a potential tool for POAG ***:Plasma and aqueous humor(AH)samples were collected from POAG patients(n=100,age:59.70±6.87y)and age-related cataract(ARC)patients(n=100,age:61.15±4.60y)admitted to our ***,Rn-nA was used to detect OnOO-in plasma and AH samples,and the relationship between OnOO-level and POAG was analyzed using binary logistic ***,Pearson correlation analysis was applied to characterize the correlation of the levels of OnOO-with the patients’age,intraocular pressure(IOP),and mean deviation of visual field *** OnOO-scavenger MnTMPyP was employed to treat the 3-morpholinosyndnomine(SIn-1)-induced ocular hypertension in mice(n=7,6-8wk).Finally,the IOP and OnOO-in both eyes were measured 30min after the last drug ***:OnOO-levels of AH and plasma were significantly higher in the POAG group than in the ARC group(Pnally,OnOO-levels were closely correlated with POAG in a binary logistic regression analysis[odds ratio(OR)=1.008,95%confidence interval(CI):1.002-1.013,Pn correlation analysis showed that OnOO-levels in AH or plasma were positively associated with visual field defects(R=0.51,Pnd OnOO-levels in plasma and AH were correlated in the POAG group(R=0.69,Pnistering MnTMPyP to mouse eyes reversed the elevated IOP caused by SIn-1(PnCLUSIOn:OnOO-levels in AH and plasma,detected by Rn-nA,are significantly related to POAG and positively correlated with visual field defects in POAG ***,OnOO-is a potential biomarker of POAG,especially advanced ***,anti-nitration compounds may be novel ocular hypotens

Despite extensive efforts in designing and preparing switchable underwater adhesives,it is not easy to regulate the underwater adhesion strength locally and ***,we design and synthesize photoreversible copolymer of poly[dopamine methacrylamide-co-methoxyethyl-acrylate-co-7-(2-methacryloyloxyethoxy)-4-methylcoumarin].Due to the dynamic formation and breaking of chemical crosslinking networks within the smart adhesives,the material shows widely tunable adhesion strength from∼150 to∼450 kPa and long-range reversible maneuverability under orthogonal 254 and 365 nm ultraviolet light stimulation via the coumarin dimerization and ***,the adhesive exhibits good circulation performance and stability in an acid–base *** also demonstrated that the bolt can be coated with the smart adhesive material for on-demand *** design principle opens the door to the development of remotely controllable high-performance smart underwater adhesives.

Interconnector is a critical component to construct solid oxide cells (SOCs) stack. Oxidation of metallic interconnectors and Cr poisoning caused by oxidation are important factors that lead to long-term performance degradation of SOCs. Coating on the interconnector surface is an important approach to inhibit the oxidation and Cr migration of the interconnector. Herein, (La0.75Sr0.25)0.95MnO3–δ (LSM) and Mn1.5Co1.5O4 (MCO) are used to fabricate the coatings of interconnector. Two advanced thermal spray technology, atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) and low-pressure plasma spray (LPPS), are adopted for the coating preparation. The electrochemical performance, rising and cooling cycle stability, and Cr diffusion inhibition performance of the coatings are tested and evaluated. The result indicates that MCO can generate more uniform and denser coatings than LSM. In addition, MCO coatings prepared by LPPS shows the best electrochemical performance, rising and cooling cycle stability, and Cr diffusion inhibition. The initial area specific resistance (ASR) is 0.0027 Ω·cm2 at 800 °C. After 4 cooling cycle tests, the ASR increases to 0.0032 Ω·cm2 but lower than other samples. Meanwhile, the relative intense of Cr at the interface of SUS430 with MCO coatings fabricated by LPPS is lower than that of MCO fabricated by APS after 4 rising and cooling cycle operations, showing more favorable Cr diffusion inhibition performance.

High corrosion and wear resistant electroless ni–P gradient coatings on aviation aluminum alloy parts

A ni–P alloy gradient coating consisting of multiple electroless ni–P layers with various phosphorus contents was prepared on the aviation aluminum alloy. Several characterization and electrochemical techniques were used to characterize the different ni–P coatings’ morphologies, phase structures, elemental compositions, and corrosion protection. The gradient coating showed good adhesion and high corrosion and wear resistance, enabling the application of aluminum alloy in harsh environments. The results showed that the double zinc immersion was vital in obtaining excellent adhesion (81.2 n). The optimal coating was not peeled and shredded even after bending tests with angles higher than 90°and was not corroded visually after 500 h of neutral salt spray test at 35℃. The high corrosion resistance was attributed to the misaligning of these micro defects in the three different nickel alloy layers and the amorphous structure of the high P content in the outer layer. These findings guide the exploration of functional gradient coatings that meet the high application requirement of aluminum alloy parts in complicated and harsh aviation environments.
