Effect of internal iliac artery chemotherapy after transurethral resection of bladder tumor for muscle invasive bladder cancer

Objective： To evaluate the clinical effect of transurethral resection of bladder tumor（TUR-BT） combined with internal iliac artery chemotherapy and intravesical instillation therapy for muscle invasive bladder cancer（MIBC）.Methods： From February 2007 to April 2014, 62 patients with MIBC were treated with TUR-BT combined with intravesical instillation therapy, with or without internal iliac artery chemotherapy, and the chemotherapy regimen is gemcitabine and cisplatin（GC）. The bladder preservation and survival rate as well as cancer-specific survival（CSS） rate and overall survival（OS） rate of the two groups were compared.Results： Sixty-two patients were followed-up for 26-102 months with an average of 58.4±3.1 months. Recurrence-free survival（RFS） at 2-year for TUR ＋ GC group and TUR group were 77.8% and 53.8%, respectively. Bladder preserved rate（BPR） at 3-year for TUR ＋ GC group and TUR group were 94.4% and 80.8%. CSS rate at 2-year for TUR ＋ GC group and TUR group were 94.4% and 84.6%. The diseasefree survival（DFS） at 1-year for TUR ＋ GC group and TUR group were 83.3% and 61.5%, and 77.8% and 53.8% for the 2nd year. OS at 2-year for TUR ＋ GC group and TUR group were 88.9% and 92.3%.Conclusions： TUR-BT and intravesical instillation therapy combined with internal iliac artery chemotherapy for MIBC had a better outcome at RFS, BPR and DFS than the treatment without internal iliac artery chemotherapy, and no difference in OS and CSS.

The accurate prediction of population distribution is crucial for numerous applications,from urban planning to epidemiological *** one-week data collected from open and multiple sources,including telecommunication activity,weather,point of interest,buildings,roads,and land use in Milan,Italy,we develop a hybrid method combining cellular automata(CA)and long short-term memory(LSTM)to predict population distribution with fine temporal and spatial ***,the convolutional autoencoder and LightGBM are applied to identify missing building types based on the pedestrian *** LSTM learns the transition rules of CA and Shapley additive explanations value is used for variable importance *** demonstrate that the combination of convolutional autoencoder and LightGBM is effective in building type *** proposed model for population distribution prediction outperforms LSTM,the combination of CA and neural network,and the combination of CA and LightGBM by at least 5–10%.A variable importance analysis reveals that temporal variables are the most significant for prediction,followed by spatial and natural *** order of hour,housing-related variables,and types of precipitation are the most important variables in each category.

The internal recycling process of boF slag which is one of the huge solid wastes from iron and steel indus try was emphasized. Based on the four scenarios of different internal recycling strategies for boF slag, life cycle assessment （LCA） as a valuable tool for industrial solid waste management was applied to analyze the contribution to reducing environmental impacts and resources burdens for each scenario. The global warming potential （GWP） re- sults of the four scenarios show that the scenario which performs best in carbon reduction cuts off 14.2G of GWP impacts of the worst scenario. The results of this study show that the optimized internal recycling process of boF slag can improve the environmental performance of crude steel. It is important to assess and choose an appropriate strategy to recycle boF slag from LCA perspective to reduce the environmental impacts and resource burdens as much as possible.

Three types of dihalide water clusters [X2（H20）8]2 （X=Cl, Br） and [I2（H20）10]^2- have been observed in cucurbit[6]uril supramolecular systems with same guest. According to the single crystal data and the quantitative theory computation, with the increase of electronegativity of halide ions, dihalide water clusters become more stable. A further comparison of three kinds of guests with different molecule length but the same anions, [p-phenylenediamine salt, hexamethylenediamine salt and N,N＇-hexamethylenebis（pyrazinylbromide）], gives the result that the dihalide water clusters collapse from 2D to 1D with the increase of the lengths.

Background： The positive influence of replacing dietary starch with sugar on milk fat production has been proposed to be partially attributed to the inhibition of the rumen trans-10 biohydrogenation pathway. However,whether and how sucrose inhibits the rumen trans-10 biohydrogenation pathway remains ***： A batch in vitro incubation system was used to evaluate effects of replacing cornstarch in a high-concentrate diet（forage to concentrate ratio = 40：60） with 0（control）, 3, 6 and 9 % of sucrose on rumen fermentation pattern, fatty acid（FA） biohydrogenation pathways and bacterial populations relating to trans-11 to trans-10 biohydrogenation pathways. Replacing dietary cornstarch with sucrose did not alter rumen p H or concentrations of total volatile fatty acids（VFA） in comparison with the control but significantly influenced the profiles of individual VFA. The molar proportions of butyrate and valerate were linearly increased, while that of acetate was quadratically decreased and those of propionate, isobutyrate and isovalerate were linearly decreased with increasing concentrations of sucrose in the diet. Furthermore, replacing cornstarch with sucrose led to a linear decrease in C18：1 trans-10, linear increases in the proportions of C18：1 trans-11, C18：2n-6 and the ratio of trans-11 to trans-10, and linear decreases in biohydrogenation of C18：2n-6 and C18：3n-3. The abundance of Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens, a butyrate and CLA cis-9,trans-11 producer, was increased with the increasing inclusion of sucrose in the diet, while the population of Megasphaera elsdenii, a CLA trans-10, cis-12 producer, was significantly decreased by all levels of sucrose ***： These results indicate that replacing starch in a high-concentrate diet with sucrose increased butyrate production and inhibited the rumen trans-10 biohydrogenation pathway, which was at least partially due to increased abundance of Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens and decreased abundance of Megas

A synthetic strategy for catalytic asymmetric conjugate addition-protonation and diastereoselective switch between 5H-oxazol-4-ones and 5-methylene 1,3-oxazolidine-2,4-diones was *** array of chiral conjugate addition-protonation products bearing 1,3-O-heterotertiary-O-heteroquarternary nonadjacent stereocenters were obtained in excellent yields,moderate to good diastereoselectivities,and excellent enantioselectivities (up to 97% yield,11:1 dr,and 98% ee).Induction by 2,2'-biphenol could effectively promote the production of the corresponding diastereoisomers via cycloaddition intermedia.

We consider a twisted massless multiplet on a two-torus, one side with a normal boundary and the other with a twisted boundary. The Casimir energy is calculated and regularized by means of the Epstein-Hurwitz-type zeta-function introduced by Elizalde. The resulting dimensions of spacetime for the twisted case may be *** results are compared with those of the untwisted case. Since twisted Casimir energy is lower than untwisted energy, the untwisted case may change into the twisted state in the spacetime.

We study electronic spin-polarised transport in a system composed of a quantum dot(QD)connected to one normal metal electrode and one ferromagnetic *** electrical current of each spin component and the spin accumulation on the QD are calculated by using the nonequilibrium Green's function *** find that in the Coulomb blockade regime,the current spin polarisation can reach 100%under a strong magnetic ***,the spin accumulation on the QD approaches to unit,and thus the dot is occupied by electrons of one certain spin *** system can operate as a spin injector from a normal metal reservoir to a semiconductor material,and may find real usage in solid state quantum information processes.
