Efficacy and safety of Yangxue Qingnao Granules in treatment of migraine:A systematic review and meta-analysis

BACKGROUND Yangxue Qingnao Granules(YXQN)is a Chinese patent medicine that has been commonly used in the clinical treatment of *** To assess the efficacy and safety of YXQN alone for the treatment of *** We searched 10 databases to identify relevant randomized controlled trials(RCTs)published before September *** review authors independently searched and screened the literature,extracted the data,and assessed the methodological quality of the studies using criteria from ROB 2.0,and analyzed the data using Review Manager 5.4 *** A total of 12 RCTs including 767 participants with migraine met the selection *** divided these studies into comparisons of YXQN with placebo,routine treatment drugs,and other Chinese patent *** meta-analysis showed the following:(1)Efficacy:The YXQN group outperformed the placebo group[relative risk(RR)=0.29,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.15–0.43,Pbo[mean difference(MD)=-1.25,95%CI:-1.60 to-0.90,Pbo(MD=-0.61,95%CI:-1.53 to-0.31,P=0.19)and routine treatment drugs(MD=-0.22,95%CI:-0.89 to 0.46,Pbo(MD=-1.67,95%CI:-3.52 to 0.19,P=0.08),routine treatment drugs(MD=-0.53,95%CI:-2.02 to 0.96,P=0.68),and other Chinese patent medicines(MD=-0.49,95%CI:-2.83 to 1.85,P=0.68).Mild gastrointestinal adverse reactions were reported

Safe and efficient capturing of volatile radioiodine is of extremely important significance in the treatment of spent ***,the flake channels in gelatin-hydroxyapatite(HAP@Ge)cryogel with excellent flame retardant properties were constructed by immobilizing hydroxyapatite nanorods(HAP)on Gelatin(Ge)cryogel for enhancing the captur-ing of *** immobilization of HAP nanorods enhanced thermal stability,provided low rates of dynamic heat transfer and dissipation,and remarkably improved the flame retardant and smoke suppression properties of the Ge cryogel,which can effectively prevent the occurrence of safety incidents caused by further thermal degradation or combustion of this *** importantly,it was effective in improving the rapid enrichment of iodine,result-ing in a high adsorption *** maximum adsorption capacity of HAP@Ge cryogel for iodine vapor reached 2693 mg/g at *** high adsorption capacity for iodine was attributed to the multi-scale porous structure in HAP@Ge cryogel,which offered effective channels for iodine diffusion,whereas the numerous complex and irregu-lar flakes provided sufficient number of active sites for iodine *** adsorption process was chemical in nature and involved the-PO43-,-OH,-C=O,and-NHR groups on HAP@Ge ***,the complex porous structure of HAP@Ge cryogel enhanced the physical capturing of *** advantages,such as low-cost raw material,sim-ple preparation method,good flame retardancy,and excellent capturing performance for iodine indicated that HAP@Ge cryogel is a potential candidate for the removal of radioactive iodine in the exhaust gas stream of post-treatment plants.

Vortex beams have attracted great attention due to their promising applications in the fields of high-capacity optical communication,optical micromanipulation,and quantum information ***,we demonstrate vortex beams with flexible control of the topological charge and modes in a carbon dots random laser for the first *** beams with different types,including the Laguerre-Gaussian(LG),Bessel-Gaussian(BG),LG-superposition,and polarized vortex beams with topological charges up to 50,have been successfully ***,vortex beams can be well realized in carbon dots random lasers with different emission wavelengths covering from 465 to 612 *** work would not only enrich the types of vortex laser,especially for solution-processable lasers,but also provide a new route to realizing multicolor and wavelength-tunable vortex lasers.

Alignment,functionalization and detection of carbon nanotube(CNT)bundles are vital processes for utilizing this onedimensional nanomaterial in ***,we report a polymer-assisted wet shearing method to acquire super-aligned craterpatterned CNT arrays by nanobubble(NB)self-assembly with a"migrate and aggregation"mechanism and use craters to controllably mold even-sized nanodisks periodically along CNT bundles with tunable *** green,low-cost method can be extended to diverse substrates and fabricate different *** an example,the Ag-nanodisk-patterned CNT arrays are utilized as substrates of surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)for rhodamine 6G(R6G)and methylene blue(MB)in which a linear correlation is found between the SERS intensity and the CNT bundle density due to the periodic distribution of hot spots,enabling a spectral detection of CNT bundles and their densities by conventional dye *** from routine morphological characterization,this spectral method possesses an enhanced accuracy and a detection range of 0.1–2μm^(–1),showing its uniqueness in the detection of CNT bundle density since the intensity of traditional spectral merely relates to the quantity of CNTs,exhibiting its potential in future CNT-bundle-based electronics.

OpBench: an operator-level GPU benchmark for deep learning

Operators(such as Conv and ReLU) play an important role in deep neural networks. Every neural network is composed of a series of differentiable operators. However, existing AI benchmarks mainly focus on accessing model training and inference performance of deep learning systems on specific models. To help GPU hardware find computing bottlenecks and intuitively evaluate GPU performance on specific deep learning tasks, this paper focuses on evaluating GPU performance at the operator level. We statistically analyze the information of operators on 12 representative deep learning models from six prominent AI tasks and provide an operator dataset to show the different importance of various types of operators in different networks. An operator-level benchmark, OpBench, is proposed on the basis of this dataset, allowing users to choose from a given range of models and set the input sizes according to their demands. This benchmark offers a detailed operator-level performance report for AI and hardware developers. We also evaluate four GPU models on OpBench and find that their performances differ on various types of operators and are not fully consistent with the performance metric FLOPS(floating point operations per second).

Reinforcing oxygen electrocatalytic activity via selective dualphase heterointerface engineering for rechargeable Zn-air batteries

Dual-phase heterointerface electrocatalysts(DPHE)constructed by oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)-and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)-active elements exhibit excellent bifunctional activity and long-term durability due to the abundant interface exposure and synergistic catalytic ***,low-dimensional N-doped graphene nanoribbons(N-GNRs)coupling with ultrathin CoO nanocomposites(N-GNRs/CoO)were controllably fabricated through a facile two-step approach using synthesized Co(OH)_2 nanosheet as CoO *** functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental characterizations prove that the formation of interface between N-GNRs and CoO can induce local charge redistribution,contributing to the improvement of catalytic activity and *** optimal N-GNRs/CoO DPHE possesses hierarchically porous architectures and presents outstanding bifunctional activities with a small potential gap of 0.729 V between the potential at 10 mA·cm^(-2)for OER and the halfwave potential for ORR,which outperforms Pt/C+IrO_(2)and the majority of noble-metal-free bifunctional ***-and solid-state rechargeable Zn-air batteries assembled with N-GNRs/CoO as the cathode also display high peak power density and fantastic cycle stability,superior to that of benchmark Pt/C+IrO_(2)*** is anticipated to offer significant benefits toward high activity,stability and mechanical flexibility bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts for rechargeable Zn-air batteries.

Background: With the accumulation of experience and evidence, guidelines for invasive intervention for acute pancreatitis (AP) have continuously evolved, followed in Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). We aimed to review AP case series to help understand the impact of guideline evolution on the management and prognosis of AP in real-world ***: This was a single-center study of AP patients who had received invasive interventions from 1988 to 2022. Patient demographics, baseline severity, imaging findings, and the indication, timing, and specific modalities of invasive interventions were collected. The composite primary endpoint was death during hospitalization or major complications after intervention. Other endpoints included pancreatic fistula, incision infection, number of interventions, length of intensive care stay, length of hospitalization, and total medical ***: A total of 195 patients were included. The most common indication for invasive intervention was suspected infection, followed by persistent symptoms. The step-up and delayed strategies reduced the incidence of major complications or death. Over 35 years, the number of patients requiring surgery has gradually declined, and more patients need only minimally invasive procedures for remission. The incidence of the primary outcome decreased as well as the duration of ***: The management of AP patients at PUMCH in the last 35 years has undergone therapeutic guideline changes that support the efficacy and safety of the deferred step-up strategy in real-world practice.

Simultaneous detection of 22 mycotoxins in grape by QuEChERS and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole/orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry

To effectively assess the extent of the mycotoxin contamination of grapes,a method was developed to analyze 22 mycotoxins by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole/orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-Orbitrap HRMS).Samples were extracted and purified using the QuEChERS(quick,easy,cheap,effective,rugged,and safe)*** extracts were separated on a BEH Shield C18 column(100 mm×2.1 mm,1.7μm),using methanol and water with 0.1%formic acid solution and 2 mmol/L ammonium acetate as the mobile *** quantification was performed according to a matrix-matched external standard *** was a good linear relationship within the respective mass concentration ranges of 22 mycotoxins;the correlation coefficients were not less than *** limit of quantification was 0.3-10.0μg/*** recovery ranged from 68.6%to 109.0%,with a relative standard deviation of 1.28%-12.80%.The method is simple,rapid,highly sensitive,and accurate,making it useful for screening grapes for common and emerging mycotoxins.
