AIM:To assess whether there is a possible causal link between the intake of cheese and the risk of diabetic retinopathy(DR)utilizing a two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)***:The research data were obtained from summary statistics of genome-wide association studies(GWAS).Genetic loci closely related to cheese intake were extracted as instrumental variables(IVs),and DR was the outcome *** data were extracted from individuals of European *** data of cheese intake consisted of 451486 samples with 9851867 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),while the DR data consisted of 206234 samples with 16380446 ***-one genetic loci closely related to cheese intake were selected as *** analysis was performed by inverse-variance weighted(IVW)method and MR-Egger regression *** causal relationship between cheese intake and DR was evaluated using odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Egger-intercept test was used to test horizontal pleiotropy and sensitivity analysis was performed by leave-one-out ***:The P value of the IVW method was less than 0.05,indicating a significant negative correlation between cheese intake and ***-Egger regression showed that the intercept was 0.01 with a standard error of 0.022,and a P-value of 0.634,indicating no evidence of horizontal pleiotropy affecting the IVs related to the exposure ***,heterogeneity tests confirmed the absence of heterogeneity,and the“leave-one-out”sensitivity analysis demonstrated that the results were ***:Cheese intake is causally negatively correlated with the occurrence of DR,and cheese intake could reduce the risk of DR.

Single-atom catalysts(SACs)attract widespread attention in heterogeneous catalysis due to their maximum atomic utilization efficiency and unique physical and chemical ***,their applications in chemical sensing keep huge potential but remain ***,a Ni-N_(4)-C SAC was synthesized for the trace detection of dopamine(DA)and uric acid(UA).The Ni-N_(4)-C SAC exhibited superior sensing performance compared to the Ni *** detection range for DA and UA were 0.05–75μM and 5–90μM with detection limits of 0.027 and 0.82μM,*** functional theory(DFT)computations indicate that Ni-N_(4)-C has a lower reaction barrier during electrochemical process,indicating that the atomic Ni sites possess higher intrinsic activity than Ni ***,DA and UA show strong potential dependency on the Ni-N_(4)-C catalyst,indicating its applicability for their concurrent *** work extends the application of SACs in chemical sensing.

Transient AC Overvoltage Suppression Orientated Reactive Power Control of the Wind Turbine in the LCC-HVDC Sending Grid

High-voltage direct current(HVDC) transmission is a crucial way to solve the reverse distribution of clean energy and loads. The line commutated converter-based HVDC(LCCHVDC) has become a vital structure for HVDC due to its high technological maturity and economic advantages. During the DC fault of LCC-HVDC, such as commutation failure, the reactive power regulation of the AC grid always lags the DC control process, causing overvoltage in the AC sending grid, which brings off-grid risk to the wind power generation based on power electronic devices. Nevertheless, considering that wind turbine generators have fast and flexible reactive power control capability, optimizing the reactive power control of wind turbines to participate in the transient overvoltage suppression of the sending grid not only improves the operational safety at the equipment level but also enhances the voltage stability of the system. This paper firstly analyses the impact of wind turbine's reactive power on AC transient overvoltage. Then, it proposes an improved voltage-reactive power control strategy, which contains a reactive power control delay compensation and a power command optimization based on the voltage time series prediction. The delay compensation is used to reduce the contribution of the untimely reactive power of wind turbines on transient overvoltage, and the power command optimization enables wind turbines to have the ability to regulate transient overvoltage, leading to the variation of AC voltage, thus suppressing the transient overvoltage. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method are verified in a ±800kV/5000MW LCC-HVDC sending grid model based on MATLAB/Simulink.

Employing crystal facets to regulate the catalytic properties in electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction（eCO2RR） has been well demonstrated on electrocatalysts containing single metals but rarely explored for bimetallic systems. Here, we synthesize Zn Sn（OH）6（ZSO）microcrystals（MCs） with distinct facets and investigate the facet effects in eCO2RR. Electrochemical studies and in situ Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy（in situ-FTIR） reveal that ZSO MCs produce mainly C1 products of HCOOH and CO. The {111} facet of the ZSO MCS exhibits higher selectivity and faradaic efficiency（FE） than that of the {100} facet over a wide range of potentials（-0.9 V ～-1.3 V versus RHE）. Density Functional Theory（DFT） calculations elucidate that the {111} facet is favorable to the adsorption/activation of CO2molecules,the formation of intermediate in the rate-determining step, and the desorption of C1 products of CO and HCOOH molecules.

Different drillingﬂuid systems are designed according to mineral composition,lithology and wellbore stability of different *** the present study,the conversion of a non-dispersed polymer drillingﬂuid into a low potas-sium anti-collapsing drillingﬂuid is *** the two drillingﬂuids belong to completely different types,the key to this conversion is represented by new inhibitors,dispersants and water-loss agents by which a non-dispersed drillingﬂuid can be turned into a dispersed drillingﬂuid while ensuring wellbore stability and reason-able rheology(carrying sand—inhibiting cuttings dispersion).In particular,the(QYZ-1)inhibitors and(FSJSS-2)dispersants are *** former can inhibit the hydration expansion capacity of clay,reduce the dynamic shear force and weaken the viscosity;the latter can improve the sealing effect and reduce theﬁltrate *** results have shown that after adding a reasonable proportion of these substances(QYZ-1:FSJSS-2)to the non-dispersed polymer drillingﬂuid,while the apparent viscosity,plastic viscosity,structural viscosity andﬂuidity index under-went almost negligible changes,the dynamic plastic ratio increased,and theﬁltration loss decreased signiﬁcantly,thereby indicating good *** to the tests(conducted in the Leijia area),the density was 1.293 g/cm3,and after standing for 24 h,the SF(static settlement factor)was ***,theﬁltration loss was reduced to 4.0 mL,the rolling recovery rate reached 96.92%,with excellent plugging and anti-collapse performances.

Evolution of Cenozoic sedimentary architecture in Central and Southern South China Sea basins

The Central and Southern South China Sea(CSSCS) has a complex tectonic dynamic background and abundant oil and gas resources, which has always been a hot topic of academic and industrial ***, systematic analyses are still lacking regarding its sediment filling structure and evolution, mostly due to limited borehole penetration and poor quality of seismic reflection data for deeply buried sequences. No consensus has been reached yet on the sedimentary infilling processes, which impeded the reconstruction of the palaeogeography of Southeast Asia and the oil-and-gas exploration undertakings. Here, we illustrate the Cenozoic sedimentary evolution of the CSSCS region by synthesizing relevant data from previous literature and our own observations and displaying the evolution of depositional systems in sequential reconstructions. Besides, the controlling factors of preferred sedimentary scenarios in the CSSCS incorporate the latest interpretations of the spreading of South China Sea(SCS) as well as the demise of the hypothetical Proto-South China Sea(PSCS). The results show that there are three types of sedimentary basins in the CSSCS(foreland,strike-slip, and rift basins) with different sedimentary filling structures. The foreland basins formed a depositional pattern of ‘transition from deep water to shallow water environments', dominated by deep-water depositional systems which were formed before the Early Oligocene with submarine fans developed. Later,the foreland basins were gradually dominated by shallow-water depositional systems with deltas and shallow marine facies. The strike-slip basins showed the depositional architecture of ‘transition from lake to marine environments', i.e. the basins were dominated by lacustrine deposits during the Eocene and evolved into the marine depositional environment since Oligocene with delta developed in the western part of the basin. The construction and application of novel highly efficient photocatalysts have been the focus in the field of environmental pollutant *** this work,a novel CuFe_(2)O_(4)/Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2)photocatalysts were synthesized by simple hydrothermal and chemical precipitation *** fabricated CuFe_(2)O_(4)/Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2)composite exhibited much higher photocatalytic activity than pristine CuFe_(2)O_(4)and Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2)in the removal of bisphenol A(BPA)under visible-light illumination,which ascribed to the intrinsic p-n junction of CuFe_(2)O_(4)and Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2).The photocatalytic degradation rate of BPA on CuFe_(2)O_(4)/Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2)with an optimized CuFe_(2)O_(4)content(1.0 wt.%)reached 93.0%within 30 *** capture experiments of active species confirmed that the hydroxyl radicals(·OH)and superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(-))played crucial roles in photocatalytic BPA degradation ***,the possible degradation mechanism and pathways of BPA was proposed according to the detected intermediates in photocatalytic reaction process.

Pulmonary hypertension(PH)due to left heart failure(HF)accounts for approximately half of PH cases *** has been demonstrated that PH is a frequent complication of HF but is difficult to recognize in its early stage because it is characterized by nonspecific symptoms including shortness of breath and decreased tolerance of ***,nearly all multicentric clinical trials targeting pulmonary circulation in PH-HF have reported negative results.1 Thus,there are no effective methods for diagnosing early PH,and the current treatment of PH-HF is insufficient.
