Deformation coordination analysis of CC-RCC combined dam structures under dynamic loads

Cyclostationary signature design for common control channel of cognitive radio

Embedding specific signatures in transmitted signals for identifying common control channels of cognitive radio are addressed in research laboratories because availability of the spectrum occupied by the common control channel might change in time. A novel solution to embed a unique cyclostationary signature for the common control channel of cognitive radio is proposed in this article. Based on linear periodically time-variant transformation （LPTV） model, the cyclic autocorrelation expression of the proposed signature is derived, which characterizes its cyclostationarity. Analysis of the cyclostationary signature is presented considering effects of additive white Gaussian noise （AWGN） and multiplath channels. Simulation results illustrating the reliability of signatures are given.

The pseudorabies virus(PRV)is identified as a double-helical DNA virus responsible for causing Aujeszky's disease,which results in considerable economic impacts *** enzyme tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase 2(WARS2),a mitochondrial protein involved in protein synthesis,is recognized for its broad expression and vital role in the translation *** findings of our study showed an increase in both mRNA and protein levels of WARS2 following PRV infection in both cell cultures and animal *** WARS2 expression via RNA interference in PK-15 cells led to a reduction in PRV infection rates,whereas enhancing WARS2 expression resulted in increased infection ***,the activation of WARS2 in response to PRV was found to be reliant on the cGAS/STING/TBK1/IRF3 signaling pathway and the interferon-alpha receptor-1,highlighting its regulation via the type I interferon signaling *** analysis revealed that reducing WARS2 levels hindered PRV's ability to promote protein and lipid *** research provides novel evidence that WARS2 facilitates PRV infection through its management of protein and lipid levels,presenting new avenues for developing preventative and therapeutic measures against PRV infections.

Cryopreservation of few spermatozoa is still a major challenge for male fertility preservation. This study reports use a new micro-straw （LSL straw） for freezing few spermatozoa for intracytoplasmic sperm injection （ICSI）. Semen samples from 22 fertile donors were collected, and each semen sample was diluted and mixed with cryoprotectant in a ratio of 1：1, and then frozen using three different straws such as LSL straw （50-100μl）, traditional 0.25 ml and 0.5 ml straws. For freezing, all straws were fumigated with liquid nitrogen, with temperature directly reducing to -130--140℃. Sperm concentration, progressive motility, morphology, acrosome integrity, and DNA fragmentation index were evaluated before and after freezing. After freezing-thawing, LSL straw group had significantly higher percentage of sperm motility than traditional 0.25 ml and 0.5 ml straw groups （38.5% vs 27.4% and 25.6%, P 〈 0.003）. Sperm motility and acrosomal integrity after freezing-thawing were significantly lower than that of before freezing. However, there was no significant difference in morphology, acrosome, and DNA integrity between the three types of straws （P 〉 0.05）. As LSL straws were thinner and hold very small volume, the freezing rate of LSL straw was obviously faster than 0.25 ml straw and 0.5 ml straws. In conclusion, LSL micro-straws may be useful to store few motile spermatozoa with good recovery of motility for patients undergoing ICSI treatment.

Deleterious chlorine fluorescence was found to occur at the same frequency as the Raman scattering of 02 （1 A） and 02 （3 E）, seriously affecting the 02 （1 A） yield measurement in the reaction of chlorine with basic hydrogen peroxide by use of the Raman spectroscopy technique. To solve this problem we have taken advantage of the fact that Raman radiation is always strongly polarized while fluorescence is essentially non-polarized in a gaseous medium. When chlorine utilization of a singlet oxygen generator is 88%, 02（1A） yield reaches （42.4±7.4）% with the effect of chlorine fluorescence completely eliminated.

Sperm DNA Fragmentation may Influence IUI Outcome but could be Treated by ICSI: Evidence from Human Sperm Bank

Objective To determine the correlation between semen parameters, sperm DNA damage, progressive motility （PR）, morphology and intrauterine insemination （IUI）/ intracyto- plasmic sperm injection （ICSI） outcomes. Methods All the donors providing the samples in this study were recruited by Shang- hai Human Sperm Bank. For IUI, 122 donors were divided into group A （n=60） and group B （n=62）. Group A had a higher pregnancy rate while group B had a lower pregnancy rate （3.86 ± 1.50% vs 0.18 ± 0.52%）. For ICSI, 45 donors were divided into group C with a higher pregnancy rate （77. 78 ± 17.21%, n=23）, group D with a lower pregnancy rate （40. 73 ± 19.19%, n=22） and group E with an average preg- nancy rate in the sperm bank （48.96 ± 12.08%, n=23）. Semen analysis, morphology and DNA damage were assessed on samples retained in the sperm bank. Fresh semen samples were also collected and corresponding semen analyses data was included along with the pregnancy rates. Results No significant difference was found in the population characteristics between groups A and B, while there was a significant difference in sperm DNA fragmetation index （DFI） and morphology between the two groups （P〈0.05）, but not in other semen parameters （P〉0.05）. There was no significant difference in population characteristics between groups C, D and E while the DFI of group D was significant higher than groups C and E （P〈0.01）, but there was no significant difference in other semen parameters （P〉0.05）.Conclusion DFI might be a good predictor for IUI outcomes. Infertile couples with a high DFI should choose ICSI treatment instead of IUI. DFI should be a routine screening marker used to screen for sperm donors.

Mechanical Properties of Railway High-strength Manufactured Sand Concrete: Typical Lithology, Stone Powder Content and Strength Grade

In order to achieve the large-scale application of manufactured sand in railway high-strength concrete structure,a series of high-strength manufactured sand concrete(HMC)are prepared by taking the manufactured sand lithology(tuff,limestone,basalt,granite),stone powder content(0,5%,10%,15%)and concrete strength grade(C60,C80,C100)as *** evolution of mechanical properties of HMC and the correlation between cubic compressive strength and other mechanical properties are *** to river sand,manufactured sand enhances the cubic compressive strength,axial compressive strength and elastic modulus of concrete,while its potential microcracks weaken the flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of *** powder content displays both positive and negative effects on mechanical properties of HMC,and the stone powder content is suggested to be less than 10%.The empirical formulas between cubic compressive strength and other mechanical properties are proposed.

Metal-organic frameworks with dinuclear metal centers for synergistically boosting CO2 photoreduction

Dinuclear metal synergistic catalysis （DMSC） has been proved powerful in boosting CO2reduction,while this has not been achieved in heterogeneous catalysts with long-range order *** this study,we,by introduction of metal catalytic centers into an indium-based metal-organic framework （MOF）,obtained a series of isostructural In-MOFs,including three MOFs with mononuclear metal catalytic center （M-In）,three MOFs with dinuclear homometallic catalytic centers （MM-In）,and three MOFs with dinuclear heterometallic catalytic centers (MM’-In,M/M’=Co（II）,Ni（II）,Zn（II）).It was found that all these MOFs can serve as catalysts for photochemical CO2reduction to *** with M-In,the catalytic activities of MM-In were obviously enhanced,and that of MM’-In was further significantly *** example,the CO yield of Co Zn-In reaches a record value of 12,700μmol g-1h-1,which is 4.0,8.1,9.4,and 18.6-fold higher than that of Co Co-In,Zn Zn-In,Co-In,and Zn-In,***,the catalytic activities of Co Ni-In and Ni Zn-In also show different fold increase than those of corresponding dinuclear homometallic and mononuclear metallic *** results of control experiments and theoretical calculation reveal that the higher catalytic activities of MM-In over M-In can be ascribed to the DMSC effect,and the higher catalytic activity of MM’-In over MM-In can be ascribed to the strengthened DMSC *** work reveals the relationship between DMSC effect and bimetal centers in CO2reduction,which provides new insights into the DMSC and paves a new way to design highly active catalysts for photochemical CO2reduction.

Effects of aggregate size distribution and carbon nanotubes on the mechanical properties of cemented gangue backfill samples under true triaxial compression

The mechanical behavior of cemented gangue backfill materials(CGBMs)is closely related to particle size distribution(PSD)of aggregates and properties of cementitious ***,the true triaxial compression tests,CT scanning,SEM,and EDS tests were conducted on cemented gangue backfill samples(CGBSs)with various carbon nanotube concentrations(P_(CNT))that satisfied fractal theory for the PSD of *** mechanical properties,energy dissipations,and failure mechanisms of the CGBSs under true triaxial compression were systematically *** results indicate that appropriate carbon nanotubes(CNTs)effectively enhance the mechanical properties and energy dissipations of CGBSs through micropore filling and microcrack bridging,and the optimal effect appears at P_(CNT)of 0.08wt%.Taking PSD fractal dimension(D)of 2.500 as an example,compared to that of CGBS without CNT,the peak strength(σ_(p)),axial peak strain(ε_(1,p)),elastic strain energy(Ue),and dissipated energy(U_(d))increased by 12.76%,29.60%,19.05%,and90.39%,***,excessive CNTs can reduce the mechanical properties of CGBSs due to CNT agglomeration,manifesting a decrease inρ_(p),ε_(1,p),and the volumetric strain increment(Δε_(v))when P_(CNT)increases from 0.08wt%to 0.12wt%.Moreover,the addition of CNTs improved the integrity of CGBS after macroscopic failure,and crack extension in CGBSs appeared in two modes:detour and pass through the ***σ_(p)and U_(d)firstly increase and then decrease with increasing D,and porosity shows the opposite ***ε_(1,p)andΔε_(v)are negatively correlated with D,and CGBS with D=2.150 has the maximum deformation parameters(ε_(1,p)=0.05079,Δε_(v)=0.01990)due to the frictional slip effect caused by coarse *** increasing D,the failure modes of CGBSs are sequentially manifested as oblique shear failure,"Y-shaped"shear failure,and conjugate shear failure.

A versatile synthetic strategy towards rare earth based metal-organic frameworks

Rare earth metal-organic frameworks (RE-MOFs) have drawn wide attention owing to diverse network structures and various application ***,due to the unpredictable formation of the nodes,it is still challenging to design novel RE-MOFs.A novel versatile strategy was developed employing a RE-acetate complex (RE2(CH3COO)6·4H2O) as a precursor to construct RE-MOFs.2D RE-MOFs (RE-DBP) and 3D RE-MOFs (RE-TCPP) could be obtained by using dicarboxylic porphyrin ligands H2DBP and tetracarboxylic porphyrin ligands H2TCPP,*** RE-MOFs were further synthesized to verify the universality of the *** crystalline RE-MOFs could also be prepared at room temperature via the developed strategy,which could significantly promote large-scale preparation and practical application of *** proof of the concept,the performance of porphyrin-based RE-MOFs was investigated in the photocatalytic cycloaddition of CO2with *** the RE-DBP(Co) MOFs,Tb-DBP(Co) exhibited the best photocatalytic performance,which was also greater than that of the corresponding 3D MOF Tb-TCPP(Co) due to the optimal 2D structure and thus the accelerated photogenerated charge separation and transfer *** work not only provides a novel versatile strategy to design and develop RE-MOFs,but also proposes a promising approach for the potential bulk production of RE-MOFs at room temperature.
