Characteristics of the Paleozoic slope break system and its control on stratigraphic-lithologic traps:An example from the Tarim Basin,western China

Based on comprehensive analyses of seismic and tog data, this study indicates that mainty four widespread angutar to minor angutar unconformities （Tg8, Tg51, Tg5 and Tg3） were formed during the Pateozoic. Through the interpretation of structural unconformities, calcutation of eroded thickness, correction of pataeo-water depth and compaction and compiration of the Earty Paleozoic structural maps, the Earty Paleozoic stope break bert （geomorphologic unit） of the Tarim Basin is subdivided into uptift area, subaqueous uptift area, rift slope break belt, flexure stope break bert （stope bert）, depression area and deep basin area. Pataeogeomorphotogy of the Cambrian-Early Ordovician was approximately in EW trend within which three tectonic units inctuding the Tabei Pataeo-uptift, the northern Depressional Belt and the southern Pataeo-uptift developed respectivety and are grouped into two stope break systems namety as the Tabei Pataeo-uptift and the southern Pataeo-uptift. These tectonic units obviousty controt the deposition of isolated platform, open platform, restricted ptatform and deep basin. Influenced by extrusion in the Mid-Late Ordovician, the southern and northern subaqueous uptifts graduat[y etevated and then were eroded. Resuttant[y two slope break systems devetoped, namely as the northern and central Pataeo-uptifts which obviousty controtled the deposition of provenance area, isolated ptatform, mixed continental shelf, slope and basin facies. The intensive extrusion of the Mid-Late Ordovician reads to significant tectonic deformation of the Tarim Basin： large area of uplifting and erosion and development of EW trending anticline and syncline. Deposition of shore, tidal fiat, delta, shallow marine clastics and deep marine facies is obviously controlled by the Tabei, the southern and the Tadong Palaeo-uplifts. Evolution regularity of the Neogene shallow water delta in the Laibei area, bohai Bay Basin, northern China

According to the characteristics of sedimentary microfacies, unique vertical depositional sequences and well logging response, the authors propose that a shallow water delta was widely developed in the Neogene of the Laibei area, bohai Bay Basin of northern China. Based on seismic minimum amplitude slices, well logging data, test analytical data and so forth, detailed research on the evolution of the shallow water delta of the Neogene Lower Member of Minghuazhen Formation was conducted. The results indicate that the third-order sequence base level controls sandbody types. During a period of low base level, a distribu- tary channel sandbody of shallow water deltaic plain was developed. With base level rising, the sandbody type gradually changed into a subaqueous distributary channel sandbody and a sheet sand can be found as well. The fourth-order sequence base level controls mediumshort term evolution of the sandbody. Within a sequence, due to the rising and falling of base level, the sandbody assemblages are identified as an upward-coarsening type, an upwardfining and a compound type respectively. Regionally, from the Laibei Low Uplift to the Huang- hekou Sag, the shallow water delta evoluted from a dendritic shape, to a cuspate shape and finally to a sheet shape.

Sky location of massive black hole binaries in the foreground of Galactic white dwarf binaries

For space-based gravitational wave （GW） detection,the main noise source for massive black hole binaries （MBHBs） is attributed to approximately 10～7double white dwarf binaries in the *** a GW source,the amplitude of the detector response,recorded by a space-based gravitational wave detector,exhibits a modulation effect with a year period when observing the source from various orbital *** the adverse conditions mentioned above,where there is a strong foreground noise and annual modulation in the signals,we employed the wavelet transform and the strong-amplitude relevant orbital position search methods,which allows the weak MBHB sources to achieve higher locating *** detail,for two MBHB sources of lower intensity,the precision of luminosity distance,represented by the ratio ?DL/DLat the 95%confidence level,is enhanced by factors of ～*** angular resolutions,denoted by??s,are enhanced by a factor of ～*** improvements increase the number of detectable GW sources,facilitate multi-messenger follow-up observations and provide constraints on the cosmological constant.

The conventional design of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) mostly relies on using heavy metals,as the heavy atom effect can effectively increase the efficiency of intersystem crossing (ISC) to get a better phosphorescence *** the first time,we reported the highly efficient RTP of a lithium-based MOF IMU-101 with a lifetime (τ) of 299 ms and a quantum yield (QY) of 4.91%.In addition,MOFs IMU-102 and IMU-103,with sodium and cesium as metal nodes,were successfully *** phosphorescence properties of this series of alkali metal MOFs were systematically studied and *** crystallography and computational calculation show that the mechanism for achieving RTP for this material lies in the ultrashort coordination bond of Li,which enables the reduction of non-radiative ***-101,as a cheap and environmentally friendly room-temperature phosphorescent material,has been further developed into composite polymer inks and bulk *** makes them promising for applications in anti-counterfeiting and information encryption.

The potential mechanism and clinical application value of remote ischemic conditioning in stroke

Some studies have confirmed the neuroprotective effect of remote ischemic conditioning against stroke. Although numerous animal researches have shown that the neuroprotective effect of remote ischemic conditioning may be related to neuroinflammation, cellular immunity, apoptosis, and autophagy, the exact underlying molecular mechanisms are unclear. This review summarizes the current status of different types of remote ischemic conditioning methods in animal and clinical studies and analyzes their commonalities and differences in neuroprotective mechanisms and signaling pathways. Remote ischemic conditioning has emerged as a potential therapeutic approach for improving stroke-induced brain injury owing to its simplicity, non-invasiveness, safety, and patient tolerability. Different forms of remote ischemic conditioning exhibit distinct intervention patterns, timing, and application range. Mechanistically, remote ischemic conditioning can exert neuroprotective effects by activating the Notch1/phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/Akt signaling pathway, improving cerebral perfusion, suppressing neuroinflammation, inhibiting cell apoptosis, activating autophagy, and promoting neural regeneration. While remote ischemic conditioning has shown potential in improving stroke outcomes, its full clinical translation has not yet been achieved.

Postnatal development of rat retina:a continuous observation and comparison between the organotypic retinal explant model and in vivo development

The organotypic retinal explant culture has been established for more than a decade and offers a range of unique advantages compared with in vivo experiments and cell ***,the lack of systematic and continuous comparison between in vivo retinal development and the organotypic retinal explant culture makes this model controversial in postnatal retinal development ***,we aimed to verify the feasibility of using this model for postnatal retinal development studies by comparing it with the in vivo *** this study,we showed that postnatal retinal explants undergo normal development,and exhibit a consistent structure and timeline with retinas in ***,we used SOX2 and PAX6 immunostaining to identify retinal progenitor *** then examined cell proliferation and migration by immunostaining with Ki-67 and doublecortin,***-67-and doublecortin-positive cells decreased in both in vivo and explants during postnatal retinogenesis,and exhibited a high degree of similarity in abundance and distribution between ***,we used Ceh-10 homeodomain-containing homolog,glutamate-ammonia ligase(glutamine synthetase),neuronal nuclei,and ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 immunostaining to examine the emergence of bipolar cells,Müller glia,mature neurons,and microglia,*** timing and spatial patterns of the emergence of these cell types were remarkably consistent between in vivo and explant *** study showed that the organotypic retinal explant culture model had a high degree of consistency with the progression of in vivo early postnatal retina *** findings confirm the accuracy and credibility of this model and support its use for long-term,systematic,and continuous observation.

Combination of fruquintinib with venetoclax for the treatment of colorectal cancer

Background:As a novel blocker of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR), fruquintinib has been approved for treating colorectal cancer (CRC). However, its dosage and therapeutic efficacy are limited by its widespread adverse reactions. Venetoclax, recognized as the initial inhibitor of B-cell lymphoma protein 2 (BCL2), has shown potential in boosting the effectiveness of immunotherapy against CRC. This study investigated the efficacy and mechanisms of fruquintinib combined with venetoclax in treating CRC.Methods and Materials:We developed a colon cancer mouse model with the CT26 colon cell line to demonstrate fruquintinib and venetoclax's efficacy against tumors. Then we employed various techniques to evaluate different aspects of the experimental outcomes. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect cell proliferation and angiogenesis in tumor tissues. Western blot analysis was utilized to examine the occurrence of cell apoptosis, and flow cytometry to quantitate immune cells within the tumor tissues. Moreover, immunofluorescence was employed to measure cytokine levels.Results:The strongest inhibition on tumor growth was achieved by the combination of fruquintinib with venetoclax, as opposed to individual drug use. Venetoclax was found to amplify the impact of fruquintinib, leading to decreased cancer cell proliferation, increased cancer cell apoptosis, lowered angiogenesis, better vascular structure normalization, and improved immune cell infiltration.Conclusion:Our findings indicate that the addition of venetoclax enhances the impact of fruquintinib on vascular normalization and modulation of the tumor immune microenvironment. Our study presents the justification for utilizing the fruquintinib and venetoclax combination in treating CRC. Venetoclax holds promise in being assimilated into anticancer medications for CRC.
