Heat transfer and temperature evolution in overburden fracture and ground fissures are one of the essential topics for the identification of ground fissures via unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) infrared imager. In this study, discrete element software UDEC was employed to investigate the overburden fracture field under different mining conditions. Multiphysics software COMSOL were employed to investigate heat transfer and temperature evolution of overburden fracture and ground fissures under the influence of mining condition, fissure depth, fissure width, and month alternation. The UAV infrared field measurements also provided a calibration for numerical simulation. The results showed that for ground fissures connected to underground goaf(Fissure Ⅰ), the temperature difference increased with larger mining height and shallow buried depth. In addition, Fissure Ⅰ located in the boundary of the goaf have a greater temperature difference and is easier to be identified than fissures located above the mining goaf. For ground fissures having no connection to underground goaf(Fissure Ⅱ), the heat transfer is affected by the internal resistance of the overlying strata fracture when the depth of Fissure Ⅱ is greater than10 m, the temperature of Fissure Ⅱ gradually equals to the ground temperature as the fissures’ depth increases, and the fissures are difficult to be identified. The identification effect is most obvious for fissures larger than 16 cm under the same depth. In spring and summer, UAV infrared identification of mining fissures should be carried out during nighttime. This study provides the basis for the optimal time and season for the UAV infrared identification of different types of mining ground fissures.

Azulene is a promising building block for creating innovative polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. This study involved the construction of three nonalternant isomers of pentacene by fusing two azulene units, named Az-PH1/2/3. Az-PH1 was initially developed through the rhodium(Ⅱ)-catalyzed cyclization of bis(N-tosylhydrazone)s. Intriguingly, Az-PH1 was also unexpectedly obtained during a nickel(0)-catalyzed one-step tandem reaction. We investigated the optical and electrochemical properties, aromaticity, and photo-oxidative stability of Az-PH1, comparing it with the well-known pentacene using density functional theory, electrochemical, and photophysical tests. Our results showed that the azulene-fusing strategy resulted in a molecule with narrow optical bandgaps(2.046 eV) and a long half-life time under ambient air conditions.

Microstructures, Fabrics, and Seismic Properties of Mylonitic Amphibolites: Implications for Strain Localization in a Thickening Anisotropic Middle Crust of the North china Craton

Strain localization processes in the continental crust generate faults and ductile shear zones over a broad range of scales affecting the long-term lithosphere deformation and the mechanical response of faults during the seismic *** anisotropy originated within the continental crust can be applied to deduce the kinematics and structures within orogens and is widely attributed to regionally aligned minerals,e.g.,***,naturally deformed rocks commonly show various structural layers(e.g.,strain localization layers).It is necessary to reveal how both varying amphibole contents and fabrics in the structural layers of strain localization impact seismic property and its interpretations in terms of *** present microstructures,petrofabrics,and calculate seismic properties of deformed amphibolite with the microstructures ranging from mylonite to *** transition from mylonite to ultramylonite is accompanied by a slight decrease of amphibole grain size,a disintegration of amphibole and plagioclase aggregates,and amphibole aspect ratio increase(from 1.68 to 2.23.,concomitant with the precipitation of feldspar and/or quartz between amphibole *** intensities of amphibole crystallographic preferred orientations(CPOs)show a progressively increasing trend from mylonitic layers to homogeneous ultramylonitic layers,as indicated by the JAm index increasing from 1.9–4.0 for the mylonitic layers and 4.0–4.8 for the transition layer,to 5.1–6.9 for the ultramylonitic *** CPO patterns are nearly random for plagioclase and *** amphibole aggregates in the amphibolitic mylonite deform by diffusion,mechanical rotation,and weak dislocation creep,and develop CPOs *** polymineralic matrix(such as quartz and plagioclase)of the mylonite and the ultramylonite deform dominantly by dissolution-precipitation,combined with weak dislocation *** mean P and S wave velocities are estimated to be 6.3.and 3.5 km/

In this paper,Si coatings were sprayed onto C/SiC composite substrates by atmospheric plasma spraying(APS).The high-temperature oxidation behavior of the substrate and coating at temperatures of 1100 and 13.0℃was also *** C/SiC ceramic matrix composite will be damaged seriously and even failed due to the oxidation of carbon fibers in *** Si coating effectively improved the oxidation resistance of the C/SiC substrate in the high-temperature oxidation *** effect of the thickness of the Si coatings on the oxidation resistance was *** 150-μm coating is proved to enable the substrate to have the lowest oxidation weight loss and the best oxidation resistance after static oxidation for 5 h.

Thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) applied in aeroengines tend to be attacked by molten calcia-magnesiaalumino-silicate(CMAS) at high operating ***-stabilized zirconia(YSZ) coatings with quasicolumnar microstructure were fabricated by plasma spray physical vapor deposition(PS-PVD) *** chemic al changes,micros tructural transform ation,mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms of the CM AS-interacted TBCs in the thermal cycling tests were *** YSZ grains were dissolved in the CMAS melts,and then the ZrO_(2) grains were reprecipitated with spherical shape,accompanying with phase transformation from tetragonal(t) to monoclinic(m).The thermal cycling tests reveal that the YSZ coating fails at the early stage due to the attack of *** fractures in intracolumns lead to partial spallation of the *** failure of the coating occurs at the interfaces between thermally grown oxides(TGO) layer and YSZ topcoat;especially,the hardness and Young's modulus of the YSZ coatings increase intensively,as the coatings were infiltrated by the CMAS for a long time.

A COUPLED MODEL OF HYDRODYNAMICS AND water QUALITY FOR YUQIAO RESERVOIR IN HAIHE RIVER BASIN

In order to simulate the characteristics of hydrodynamic field and mass transport processes in the Yuqiao Reservoir （YQR）, a 2-D coupled model of hydrodynamics and water quality was developed, and the water-quality related state variables in this model included CODMn, TN and TP. The hydrodynamic model was driven by employing observed winds and daily measured flow data to simulate the seasonal water cycle of the reservoir. The simulation of the mass transport and transformation processes of CODMn, TN and TP was based on the unsteady diffusion equations, driven by observed meteorological forcing and external loadings, with the fluxes form the {3.ttom of reservoir and the plant photosynthesis and respiration as internal sources and sinks. A finite volume method and Alternating Direction Implicit （ADI） scheme were used to solve these equations. The model was calibrated and verified by using the data observed from YQR in two different years. The results showed that in YQR, the wind-driven current was an important style of lake current, while the concentration of water quality item was decreasing from east to west because of the external pollutant loadings. There was a good agreement between the simulated and measured values, with the minimal calculation error percent of 0.1% and 2.6% and the mean error percent of 44.0% and 51.2% for TN and TP separately. The simulation also showed that, in YQR, the convection was the main process in estuaries of inflow river, and diffusion and biochemical processes dominate in center of reservoir. So it was necessary to build a pre-pond to reduce the external loadings into the reservoir.
