A novel trench insulated gate bipolar transistor（TIGBT） with a shallow emitter trench controlled P-type dummy region（STCP-TIGBT） is *** with the conventional TIGBT with floating P-type dummy region（CFP-TIGBT） and TIGBT with floating P-type dummy region and normally on hole path（HFPTIGBT）,the proposed STCP structure not only speeds up the extraction of excessive holes in the turn-off process but also reduces the Miller plateau charge(Qgc).Therefore,both the power loss and electromagnetic interference（EMI） noise are significantly *** results show that the Qgcof the proposed device is only 501 nC/cm2,which is reduced by 58.5% and 26.4% when compared to the CFP-TIGBT and HFP-TIGBT,*** same on-state voltage drop(Vceon) of 1.02 V,the turn-off loss(Eoff) of the proposed device is 13.49 mJ/cm2,which is 64.6%and 67.6% less than those of the CFP-TIGBT and HFP-TIGBT,***,the reverse recovery dVak/dt of the freewheeling diode at same turn-on loss(Eon) of 31.8 mJ/cm2for the proposed STCP-TIGBT is only 2.15 kV/μs,which is reduced by 91.3% and 57.2% when compared to 24.69 kV/μs and 5.02 kV/μs for the CFP-TIGBT and HFPTIGBT,*** reduced dV/dt significantly suppresses the electromagnetic interference noise generated by the proposed device.

Silicon quantum dots(SiQDs)with high water-soluble and favorable photostability were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal *** average diameter of SiQDs was 2.02 nm characterized by transmission electron *** was to be noted that the as-prepared SiQDs showed eff ective antibacterial activity,which was attributed to electrostatic interaction and the generation of reactive oxygen *** minimum inhibitory concentration of SiQDs against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was 0.45 mg/mL and 0.38 mg/mL,***,based on the static quenching eff ect-induced fluorescence quenching mechanism,the SiQDs exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity for detecting tetracyclines(TC).A good linear relationship was obtained between the fluorescence intensity of SiQDs and the concentration of tetracycline(TC)in the range of 0–0.08μmol/L(R^(2)=0.9993)with a detection limit of 0.0176μmol/***,the TC content in the honey samples was determined using the *** the results suggest that the as-prepared SiQDs can be a potential fluorescent probe for application in antibacterial and analysis.

BACKGROUND Colon cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive *** metastasis after colon cancer surgery is the primary cause of death in patients with colon *** To construct a novel nomogram model including various factors to predict liver metastasis after colon cancer *** We retrospectively analyzed 242 patients with colon cancer who were admitted and underwent radical resection for colon cancer in Zhejiang Provincial People’s Hospital from December 2019 to December *** were divided into liver metastasis and non-liver metastasis ***,age,and other general and clinicopathological data(preoperative blood routine and biochemical test indexes)were *** risk factors for liver metastasis were analyzed using singlefactor and multifactorial logistic regression.A predictive model was then constructed and evaluated for *** Systemic inflammatory index(SII),C-reactive protein/albumin ratio(CAR),red blood cell distribution width(RDW),alanine aminotransferase,preoperative carcinoembryonic antigen level,and lymphatic metastasis were different between groups(P<0.05).SII,CAR,and RDW were risk factors for liver metastasis after colon cancer surgery(P<0.05).The area under the curve was 0.93 for the column-line diagram prediction model constructed based on these risk factors to distinguish whether liver metastasis occurred *** actual curve of the column-line diagram predicting the risk of postoperative liver metastasis was close to the ideal curve,with good *** prediction model curves in the decision curve analysis showed higher net benefits for a larger threshold range than those in extreme cases,indicating that the model is *** Liver metastases after colorectal cancer surgery could be well predicted by a nomogram based on the SII,CAR,and RDW.

Background: Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury (HIRI) stands as an unavoidable complication arising from liver surgery, profoundly intertwined with its prognosis. The role of lysine methyltransferase SET domain bifurcated 1 (SETDB1) in HIRI remains elusive, despite its confirmation as a potential therapeutic target for diverse diseases. Here, we investigated the mechanism by which SETDB1 regulated HIRI. Methods: RNA sequencing data were used to identify the expression and potential targets of SETDB1 through bioinformatics analysis. To elucidate the impact of SETDB1 on HIRI, both an in vivo model of HIRI in mice and an in vitro model of hepatocyte hypoxia/reoxygenation were established. Biochemical and histological analyses were used to investigate the influence of SETDB1 on liver damage mediated by HIRI. Chromatin immunoprecipitation and coimmunoprecipitation were implemented to explore the in-depth mechanism of SETDB1 regulating HIRI. Results: We confirmed that hepatocellular SETDB1 was up-regulated during HIRI and had a close correlation with HIRI-related inflammation and apoptosis. Moreover, inhibition of SETDB1 could mitigate HIRI-induced liver damage, inflammation, and apoptosis. Through our comprehensive mechanistic investigation, we revealed that SETDB1 interacts with apoptosis-signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1) and facilitates the methylation of its lysine residues. Inhibition of SETDB1 resulted in reduced phosphorylation of ASK1, leading to a marked suppression of downstream c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/p38 signaling pathway activation. The therapeutic effect on inflammation and apoptosis achieved through SETDB1 inhibition was nullified by the restoration of JNK/p38 signaling activation through ASK1 overexpression. Conclusions: The findings from our study indicate that SETDB1 mediates lysine methylation of ASK1 and modulates the activation of the ASK1–JNK/p38 pathway, thus involved in HIRI-induced inflammation and apoptosis. Lignocellulose has the potential to become a bio-based adsorbent due to its biodegradability and *** this study,a novel polydopamine functionalized-lignin(lignin@PDA),prepared via self-polymerization of dopamine(PDA)on lignin,was used as a bio-based adsorbent for rapid scavenging of hexavalent chromium(Cr(VI)).The morphology,functional groups,crystalline structure,and chemical composition of lignin@PDA were characterized with a scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrometer,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,and X-ray photoelectron *** Cr(VI)adsorption process of lignin@PDA was studied using batch experiments as a function of pH,ionic strength,adsorbent dose,and contact time at room *** adsorption rate of lignin@PDA was five times greater than that of the unmodified lignin,with a maximum adsorption capacity of 102.6 mg/g in an acidic *** adsorption of Cr(VI)on lignin@PDA fit the pseudo-secondorder equation and the Freundlich model,indicating that the adsorption process was mainly dominated by chemisorption and surface *** thermodynamic parameters showed that adsorption of Cr(VI)on lignin@PDA was an endothermic and spontaneous *** X-ray absorption fine structure results showed that sorption and reduction of Cr(VI)into Cr(II)occurred simultaneously on ***,PDA coating not only improved the reactivity of lignin but also promoted the complete reduction of Cr(VI)by *** to these results,polydopamine functionalized-lignin is a promising bio-based adsorbent for immobilization of Cr(VI)from wastewater.

Background Alternating hemiplegia of childhood(AHC)is a rare pediatric syndrome characterized by recurring episodes of hemiplegia or quadriplegia,and frequently accompanied by dystonic posturing,choreoathetosis movements,anomalous ocular motions,and a gradual deterioration in cognitive *** principal etiology of this disorder is traced back to mutations in the ATP1A3 *** presentation Here,we report a 16-year-old girl with recurrent hemiplegia since her *** patient has experienced paroxysmal limb weakness and aphasia for over 15 years,and has kept seeking medical attention but without receiving effective treatment.A misdiagnosis of hysteria persisted for over 4 years until the patient’s admission to our ***-exome sequencing identified a known pathogenic heterozygous c.2270T>C(***757Pro)mutation in her ATP1A3 ***,her clinical manifestations,including pathological emotional responses and autonomic dysfunction,differed from the established profile associated with the same ATP1A3 mutation,which typically present with intellectual disability,a rostrocaudal symptom gradient,choreoathetosis,and *** patient was finally diagnosed with AHC and treated with flunarizine thus significantly ameliorated hemiplegic *** This case enhances our understanding of the intricate clinical manifestations of AHC,which require careful differentiation from various diseases such as epilepsy,hysteria,and paroxysmal *** the diagnosis of patients presenting with suspected symptoms,adhering to a systematic approach for localizing and diagnosing neurological disorders is crucial to prevent misdiagnosis and inappropriate ***,when AHC is suspected in a patient,genetic testing should be considered as part of the diagnostic approach.
