Investigation of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene propellant breaking characteristics and mechanism impacted by submerged cavitation water jet

A submerged cavitation water jet(SCWJ)is an effective method to recycle solid propellant from obsolete solid engines by the breaking *** propellant's breaking modes and mechanical process under SCWJ impact are *** study aims to understand those impact breaking *** hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(HTPB)propellant was chosen as the research material,and a self-designed test system was used to conduct impact tests at four different working *** high-speed camera characterized crack propagation,and the DIC method calculated strain change during the impact ***,micro and macro fracture morphologies were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and computed tomography(CT)*** results reveal that the compressive strain concentration region locates right below the nozzle,and the shear strain region distributes symmetrically with the jet axis,which increases to 4% at first 16th ms,the compressive strain rises to 2% and 6% in the axial and transverse direction,*** two tensile cracks formed first at the compression strain concentrate region,and there generate many shear cracks around the tensile cracks,and those shear cracks that develop and aggregate cause the cracks to become wider and cut through the tensile cracks,forming the tensile-shear cracks and the impact parts eventually *** HTPB propellant forms a breaking hole shaped conical after impact 10 *** mass loss increases by 17 times at maximum,with the working pressure increasing by three ***,the damage value of the breaking hole remaining on the surface increases by 7.8 times while 2.9 times in the depth of the breaking *** breaking efficiency is closely affected by working *** failure modes of HTPB impacted by SCWJ are classified as tensile crack-dominated and tensile-shear crack-dominated damage mechanisms.

Enrichment of anammox biomass during mainstream wastewater treatment driven by achievement of partial denitrification through the addition of bio-carriers

Anammox is widely considered as the most cost-effective and sustainable process for nitrogen ***,how to achieve the enrichment of anammox biomass remains a challenge for its large-scale application,especially in mainstream wastewater *** this study,the feasibility of enrichment of anammox biomass was explored through the realization of partial denitrification and the addition of *** using ordinary activated sludge,a sequencing batch reactor(SBR)followed by an up-fow anaerobic sludge bed(UASB)was operated at 25±2℃ for 214 *** long-term operation was divided into five phases,in which SBR and UASB were started-up in Phases I and II,*** eliminating oxygen and adjusting the infow ratios in Phases III-V,advanced nitrogen removal was achieved with the effuent total nitrogen being 4.7 mg/L and the nitrogen removal efficiency being 90.5%in Phase *** in-situ and ex-situ activity tests demonstrated the occurrence of partial denitrification and ***,16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing analysis revealed that Candidatus Brocadia was enriched from below the detection limit to in biofilms(0.4%in SBR,2.2%in UASB)and the foc sludge(0.2%in SBR,1.3%in UASB),while Thauera was mainly detected in the foc sludge(8.1%in SBR,8.8%in UASB),which might play a key role in partial ***,this study provides a novel strategy to enrich anammox biomass driven by rapid achievement of partial denitrification through the addition of bio-carriers,which will improve large-scale application of anammox processes in mainstream wastewater treatment.

BACKGROUND Tracheal tumors may cause airway obstruction and pose a significant risk to ventilation and *** to its rarity,there is currently no established protocol or guideline for anesthetic management of resection of upper tracheal tumors,therefore individualized strategies are *** are limited number of reports regarding the anesthesthetic management of upper tracheal resection and reconstruction(TRR)in the *** successfully used intravenous ketamine to manage a patient with a near-occlusion upper tracheal tumor undergoing *** SUMmaRY A 25-year-old female reported progressive dyspnea and *** showed an intratracheal tumor located one tracheal ring below the glottis,which occluded>90%of the tracheal *** patient was scheduled for *** the risk of complete airway collapse after the induction of general anesthesia,we decided to secure the airway with a tracheostomy with spontaneous *** surgeons needed to transect the trachea 1-2 cartilage rings below and above the tumor borders:a time-consuming *** and movement needed be minimized;thus,we added intravenous ketamine to local anesthetic *** tracheostomy,an endotracheal tube was placed into the distal trachea,and general anesthesia was *** surgeons resected four cartilage rings with the tumor attached and anastomosed the posterior tracheal *** performed a video-laryngoscopy to place a new endotracheal ***,the surgeons anastomosed the anterior tracheal *** patient was extubated *** Ketamine showed great advantages in the anesthesia of upper TRR by providing analgesia with minimal respiratory depression or airway collapse.

Characteristics of Halloween genes and RNA interference-mediated functional analysis of LmCYP307a2 in Locusta migratoria

Halloween genes are involved in the biosynthesis of the molting hormone, which plays a key role in insect ecdysis, development, metamorphosis, and reproduction. Our previous work identified five Halloween genes from Locusta migratoria, but their functions are currently unknown. In this study, the sequences of these five Halloween genes were analyzed and characterized. LmCYP307a2, LmCYP306a1, LmCYP302a1, and LmCYP315a1 were primarily expressed in the prothoracic glands, while LmCYP314a1 was universally expressed in peripheral tissues, especially in the ovaries and malpighian tubules. All five Halloween genes were mainly expressed from the 5th to the 7th d in 5th-instar nymphs. RNA interference (RNAi) silencing of LmCYP307a2 resulted in severe molting delays and molting failure, which could be rescued by supplementary 20-hydroxyecdysone. A hematoxylin and eosin staining analysis suggested that the RNAi of LmCYP307a2 inhibited the ecdysis process by inhibiting the apolysis and degradation of the old cuticle, and by promoting the synthesis of a new cuticle. Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction results showed that the expressions of LmE74, LmCht5, and LmCht10 were dramatically down-regulated, while that of LmChsI was substantially up-regulated, after knockdown of LmCYP307a2. The results suggest that LmCYP307a2 is related to the molt process via regulation of chitin synthesis and degradation.

鹅星状病毒(Goose astrovirus,GoAstV)可导致1~15日龄雏鹅痛风甚至死亡。为探究有效分离GoAstV方法,将RT-PCR鉴定为GoAstV阳性的雏鹅肝脏、肾脏研磨液通过尿囊腔、绒毛尿囊膜及卵黄囊途径分别接种至SPF鸡胚、SPF鸭胚及非SPF鹅胚,通过多次传代观察胚体剖检变化、死亡情况、核酸、病毒载量检测等,综合判断GoAstV JL01株在禽胚上的最佳分离方式。结果表明,病料经尿囊腔途径接种非SPF鹅胚及SPF鸭胚,绒毛尿囊膜途径接种非SPF鹅胚、SPF鸡胚及SPF鸭胚,卵黄囊途径接种SPF鸭胚均无法使胚体发生显著的剖检变化及规律性死亡,RT-PCR及RT-qPCR检测表明,病毒无法在相应胚体、尿囊液及胚体其他组织中有效增殖,卵黄囊途径接种SPF鸡胚所传的10代胚体均发生发育迟缓、出血等特征性病变,除F_(1)代其余9代均死亡,卵黄囊和胚体中病毒载量为10^(4.5)~10^(6.0)copies·μL^(-1)。因此,卵黄囊途径接种8日龄SPF鸡胚为GoAstV JL01株最适分离方式。研究为GoAstV分离提供可借鉴路径。

The rapid development of 5G/6G and AI enables an environment of Internet of Everything(IoE)which can support millions of connected mobile devices and applications to operate smoothly at high speed and low ***,these massive devices will lead to explosive traffic growth,which in turn cause great burden for the data transmission and content *** challenge can be eased by sinking some critical content from cloud to *** this case,how to determine the critical content,where to sink and how to access the content correctly and efficiently become new *** work focuses on establishing a highly efficient content delivery framework in the IoE *** particular,the IoE environment is re-constructed as an end-edge-cloud collaborative system,in which the concept of digital twin is applied to promote the *** on the digital asset obtained by digital twin from end users,a content popularity prediction scheme is firstly proposed to decide the critical content by using the Temporal Pattern Attention(TPA)enabled Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)***,the prediction results are input for the proposed caching scheme to decide where to sink the critical content by using the Reinforce Learning(RL)***,a collaborative routing scheme is proposed to determine the way to access the content with the objective of minimizing *** experimental results indicate that the proposed schemes outperform the state-of-the-art benchmarks in terms of the caching hit rate,the average throughput,the successful content delivery rate and the average routing overhead.
