Backgr.und:With incr.asing axial length(AL)and myopia pr.gr.ssion,the micr.-str.ctur. of the r.tina and chor.id gr.dually *** study descr.bes the longitudinal changes in r.tinal and chor.idal thickness in school-aged childr.n with myopia and explor.s the r.lationship between changes in chor.idal thickness and myopia ***:An explor.tor. analysis of a r.ndomized tr.al was ***(n=168,aged 7 to 12 year.)with myopia fr.m-0.75 diopter.d)to-4.00 d wer. enr.lled in this pr.spective longitudinal *** r.fr.ction,AL,r.tinal and chor.idal thicknesses wer. measur.d at baseline and at 1-and 2-year.follow-ups."r.pid pr.gr.ssion myopia"was defined as incr.asing in myopia>1.00 d and'"stable pr.gr.ssion myopia"was≤1.00 d dur.ng the 2-year.*** affecting the changes in chor.idal thickness wer. analysed using linear.mixed ***:AL significantly incr.ased by 0.67±0.24 mm with a myopic shift of-1.50±0.64 d over.the 2 *** over.ll r.tinal thickness incr.ased fr.m 251.12±15.91μm at baseline to 253.47±15.74μm at the 2-year.followup(F=23.785,Pr.idal thickness decr.ased fr.m 231.03±54.04μm at baseline to 206.53±59.71μm at the 2-year.follow-up(F=73.358,Pr.idal thinning was significantly associated with AL elongation(β=-43.579μm/mm,P=0.002)and sex(β=-17.258,P=0.001).Chor.idal thickness continued to decr.ase in subjects with r.pid pr.gr.ssion(F=92.06,Pdy pr.gr.ssion(F=2.23,P=0.119).Conclusion:Significant chor.idal thinning was obser.ed and was associated with r.pid pr.gr.ssion and *** findings indicate a need to under.tand the r.le of the chor.id in eye gr.wth and myopia ***/Pr.cis:The macular.chor.idal thickness of myopic childr.n is r.levant to differ.nt degr.es of myopic pr.gr.ssion in this 2-year.longitudinal *** findings suggest that contr.l of chor.idal thickness might wor. to r.gulate human ocular.gr.wth.

The var.able high-or.er.multiblock over.apping(over.et)gr.ds method of Sj¨ogr.en&Yee[CiCP,Vol.5,2009]for.a per.ect gas has been extended to nonequilibr.um *** wor. makes use of the r.cently developed high-or.er.well-balanced shock-captur.ng schemes and their.filter.counter.ar.s[Wang et al.,***.,2009,2010]that exactly pr.ser.e cer.ain non-tr.vial steady state solutions of the chemical nonequilibr.um gover.ing *** tur.ulence with str.ng shocks and flows containing both steady and unsteady components is best tr.ated by mixing of numer.cal methods and switching on the appr.pr.ate scheme in the appr.pr.ate subdomains of the flow fields,even under.the multiblock gr.d or.adaptive gr.d r.finement *** low dissipative sixth-or.higher.or.er.shock-captur.ng filter.methods ar. appr.pr.ate for.unsteady tur.ulence with shocklets,second-and thir.or.er.shock-captur.ng methods ar. mor. effective for.str.ng steady or.near.y steady shocks in ter.s of *** is anticipated that our.var.able high-or.er.over.et gr.d fr.mewor. capability with its highly modular.design will allow for.an optimum synthesis of these new algor.thms in such a way that the most appr.pr.ate spatial discr.tizations can be tailor.d for.each par.icular.r.gion of the *** this paper.some of the latest developments in single block high-or.er.filter.schemes for.chemical nonequilibr.um flows ar. applied to over.et gr.d *** numer.cal appr.ach is validated on a number.of test cases char.cter.zed by hyper.onic conditions with str.ng shocks,including the r.entr. flow sur.ounding a 3d Apollo-like NASA Cr.w Explor.tion Vehicle that might contain mixed steady and unsteady components,depending on the flow conditions.

Study on the r.sk factor. of lymphatic metastasis and the indications of less invasive oper.tions in ear.y gastr.c cancer

The pr.nciple of sur.ical tr.atment for.gastr.c cancer.is the r.dical r.sectioning although the suitable r.secting r.nge for.differ.nt cases of gastr.c cancer.is still being ar.ued upon[1-9]. However. the diagnostic accur.cy of ear.y gastr.c cancer.(EGC) without lymphatic metastasis has obviously impr.ved with an impr.vement in the diagnostic technique and due to the accumulation of knowledge on the biological pr.files of EG C[10-17]. The d2 lymph node excision was used as a r.gular.oper.tion to tr.at the EGC pr.viously. But the concept for.the EGC without lymphatic metastasis has gr.dually changed and the less invasive r.sections has been applied in some cases[18-20]. This study aimed at investigating the r.sk factor. of lymphatic metastasis in EGC in or.er.to find out the pr.ofs for.the suitable indications for.less invasive oper.tions such as endoscopic mucosal r.sectioning (EMr., lapar.scopic and lapar.tomic r.sectioning.
