Catatonia,originally conceptualised by Kahlbaum in 1868,is a neuropsychiatric condition that has been found to occur concomitantly with several organic and psychiatric *** from the era of Kraepelin and Bleuler,this condition was faultily linked with schizophrenia alone;however,over time,greater associations have been found between catatonia and mood *** the availability of several reports supporting this finding,there is a relative paucity of studies that specifically focus on catatonia to be the first symptom manifestation heralding a subsequent mood *** addition,there is scant literature to determine whether there are specific presentations of catatonia that show greater associations with mood disorders and whether these signs and symptoms recur in a stereotypical fashion in the subsequent mood episodes in the lifetime of an *** hereby report two cases with a diagnosis of mood disorders(bipolar disorder and recurrent depressive disorder)who had catatonia as the initial symptom not only at presentation but also at subsequent *** report emphasises that recurrent catatonia can be the initial clinical manifestation of an underlying mood episode,which appears otherwise masked behind the catatonic *** catatonic symptoms can be interestingly similar in all the subsequent episodes.A detailed clinical evaluation is thus warranted after catatonia has been duly treated to provide a holistic management.

In the past,sketches were a standard technique used for recognizing offenders and have remained a valuable tool for law enforcement and social security ***,relying on eyewitness observations can lead to discrepancies in the depictions of the sketch,depending on the experience and skills of the sketch *** the emergence of modern technologies such as Generative Adversarial Networks(GANs),generating images using verbal and textual cues is now possible,resulting in more accurate sketch *** this study,we propose an adversarial network that generates human facial sketches using such cues provided by an ***,we have introduced an Inverse Gamma Correction Technique to improve the training and enhance the quality of the generated *** evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed method,we conducted experiments and analyzed the results using the inception score and Frechet Inception Distance *** proposed method achieved an overall inception score of 1.438±0.049 and a Frechet Inception Distance of 65.29,outperforming other state-of-the-art techniques.

Controlling Remote Robots Based on Zidan’s Quantum Computing Model

In this paper,we propose a novel algorithm based on Zidan’s quantum computing model for remotely controlling the direction of a quantumcontrolledmobile robot equippedwith *** proposed algorithm is based on the measurement of concurrence value for the different movements of the *** a faraway robot that moves in the deep space(e.g.,moves toward a galaxy),and it is required to control the direction of this robot from a ground station by some person *** sends an unknown qubitα|0)+β|1)via the teleportation protocol to the ***,the proposed algorithm decodes the received unknown qubit into an angleθ,that determines the motion direction of the robot,based on the concurrence *** proposed algorithm has been tested for four and eight *** simulators have been tested;IBM Quantum composer and IBM’s system,The two simulators achieved the same result *** motion of any part of the robot is considered,if it has a pre-existing sensor system and a locomotive system,.We can use this technique in many places like in space robots(16 directions).The results show that the proposed technique can be easily used for a huge number of ***,increasing the number of movements of the robot will increase the number of qubits.

The world is projected to experience an approximate doubling of atmospheric CO_2 concentration in the next decades. Rise in atmospheric CO_2 level as one of the most important reasons is expected to contribute to raise the mean global temperature 1.4 ℃-5.8 ℃ by that time. A survey from 128 countries speculates that global warming is primarily due to increase in atmospheric CO_2 level that is produced mainly by anthropogenic activities. Exposure of animals to high environmental temperatures is mostly accompanied by unwanted acceleration of certain biochemical pathways in their cells. One of such examples is augmentation in generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) and subsequent increase in oxidation of lipids, proteins and nucleic acids by ROS. Increase in oxidation of biomolecules leads to a state called as oxidative stress(OS). Finally, the increase in OS condition induces abnormality in physiology of animals under elevated temperature. Exposure of animals to rise in habitat temperature is found to boost the metabolism of animals and a very strong and positive correlation exists between metabolism and levels of ROS and OS. Continuous induction of OS is negatively correlated with survivability and longevity and positively correlated with ageing in animals. Thus, it can be predicted that continuous exposure of animals to acute or gradual rise in habitat temperature due to global warming may induce OS, reduced survivability and longevity in animals in general and poikilotherms in particular. A positive correlation between metabolism and temperature in general and altered O_2 consumption at elevated temperature in particular could also increase the risk of experiencing OS in homeotherms. Effects of global warming on longevity of animals through increased risk of protein misfolding and disease susceptibility due to OS as the cause or effects or both also cannot be ignored. Scarcity of water and emission of greenhouse gases(GHGs)are the two key environmental issues affecting crop production in *** the carbon footprint(CF)and water footprint(WF)of crop production can help to mitigate the environmental hazards that stem from GHG emissions and water *** CFs and WFs of three major cereal crops,rice,wheat,and maize,were estimated for the year 2014 under the environmental conditions in India,based on national statistics and other data *** CFs(TCFs)of rice,wheat,and maize in India were estimated to be 2.44,1.27,and 0.80 t CO_(2)equivalent ha-1,respectively,and product WFs for rice,wheat,and maize in India were 3.52,1.59,and 2.06 m3 kg^(-1),*** WF was found to be the highest in West India for rice and in South India for both wheat and maize,with the highest irrigation water use in these *** was a positive correlation between TCF and total WF,and hence mitigation of both was possibly simultaneous in various regions in *** measures for mitigating GHG emissions and optimizing water use for rice,wheat,and maize production in India are recommended in this paper.
