We aim to evaluate the incidence of incontinence following laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)comparing en-bloc(Group 1)versus 2-lobe/3-lobe techniques(Group 2).We performed a retrospective review of patients undergoing EEP for benign prostaticenlargement in 12 centers between January 2020 and January *** were presented as median and interquartile range(IQR).Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate factors associated with stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and mixed urinary incontinence(MUI).There were 1711 patients in Group 1 and 3357 patients in Group *** in Group 2were significantly younger(68[62–73]years vs 69[63–74]years,P=0.002).Median(interquartile range)prostate volume(PV)wassimilar between the groups(70[52–92]ml in Group 1 vs 70[54–90]ml in Group 2,P=0.774).There was no difference in preoperativeInternational Prostate Symptom Score,quality of life,or maximum flow ***,morcellation,and total surgical time weresignificantly shorter in Group *** 1 month,overall incontinence rate was 6.3%in Group 1 versus 5.3%in Group 2(P=0.12),and urge incontinence was significantly higher in Group 1(55.1%vs 37.3%in Group 2,Pcontinence was 1.7%in Group 1 versus 2.3%in Group 2(P=0.06),and SUI was significantly higher in Group 2(55.6%vs 24.1%in Group 1,P=0.002).At multivariable analysis,PV and IPSS were factors significantly associated with higher odds of transient SUI/***,surgical time,and no early apical release technique were factors associated with higher odds of persistent SUI/MUI.

使用RegcM3区域气候模式,嵌套ERA40再分析资料,对东亚地区进行了15年（1987-2001）时间长度的数值积分试验,分析了模式对东亚平均环流及中国地区气温和降水的模拟。结果表明,模式较好地模拟了东亚环流和中国地区地面气温和降水的年、季地理分布和季节变化特征。同时模式模拟在测站稀少地区,提供了局地降水和气温分布更可靠的信息。整体而言,模式对地面气温的模拟效果好于降水。模式模拟在中国地区存在着系统性的冷偏差,同时模拟的降水在北方偏大,南方偏小,这是模式有待于重点改进完善之处。

The accurate identification of dinosaur egg accumulations as nests or clutches is crucial for understanding the reproductive behaviour of these extinct ***,existing methods often rely on the presence of complete eggs and embryo remains,and sedimentological criteria that are only applicable to well-structured *** this study,we introduce an innovative approach to characterize egg accumulations in structureless sediments,where traditional nest structures may not be *** methodology employs a unique combination of sedimentological,taphonomic,geochemical,and geophysical proxies for the study of egg *** applied this approach to the egg accumulation from Paimogo(Jurassic,Portugal),traditionally interpreted as a *** findings reveal that the Paimogo egg assemblage is a secondary deposit,resulting from a flooding event in a fluvial plain that dismantled several allosauroid and crocodylomorph *** eggshell vapor conductance results,coupled with sedimentological evidence,suggest that allosauroid dinosaurs buried their eggs in the dry terrain of overbank areas close to a main channel during the breeding season,likely during the dry season to prevent the embryos from *** research underscores the necessity of multidisciplinary approaches in interpreting egg accumulations and offers a novel methodology for studying these accumulations in structureless *** findings provide new insights into the breeding behaviour and nesting preferences of these extinct organisms,contributing to our understanding of dinosaur ecology.

Metasediments from the Tethyan Himalaya (TH) were sampled for paleomagnetic studies in several areas. In this paper, we will present the first results from carboniferous and Early Triassic marly limestones from Hidden Valley (central Nepal).. The paleomagnetic directions reflect a Tertiary overprint probably synchronous with the metamorphism. In this area, the metamorphic conditions reached during Tertiary are poorly constrained. Temperatures are probably in between 300 and 400℃. The age of the thermal event is still debated. No geochronological data is available in this area. Previously published geochronological data from the northern part of TH metasediments in India ranges from 47 to 42Ma (Ar/Ar Illite) after Weissman et al. (1999) and Bonhomme and Garzanti (1991). While in the southern part (close to HHc), biotite Ar/Ar data ranges from 30 to 26Ma in Marsyandi Valley (coleman and Hodges, 1998) and muscovite Ar/Ar ranges from 18 to 12Ma in the upper Kali Gandaki Valley (Godin et al., 1998).. In this context, the age of the magnetization can′t be defined with precision.

The trackway of a swimming theropod (ichnogenus characichnos) is reported from the Lower cretaceous Feitianshan Formation of Sichuan, china. These swim tracks help confirm that non-avian theropods were capable of forging moderately deep bodies of water. The trackway occurs on the same surface as a typical walking trackway of a sauropod (ichnogenus Brontopodus). Both occurrences are the first reported from the cretaceous of Sichuan, and the swim tracks are the first well-preserved example of a characichnos trackway from china. Additionally, a theropod walking trackway and several ornithopod walking trackways (similar to the ichnogenus caririchnium) occur in the same horizon. The ornithopod trackways show a parallel orientation, suggesting gregarious behavior of the trackmakers, which may have been iguanodontiforms and/or hadrosauriforms. The co-occurrence of theropod swim tracks and theropod walking tracks suggests a fluctuation of water depth within a distinct time span.

Stress-Induced Flowering in Pharbitis—A Review

Many plant species are induced to flower by stress. Stress-induced flowering has been studied mostly in the short-day plant pharbitis (also called Japanese morning glory;Ipomoea nil, formerly Pharbitis nil). In this article, physiological characteristics, the regulation by salicylic acid (SA) and the expression of flowering-related genes in stress-induced flowering in pharbitis are reviewed. Pharbitis flowered under long-days in response to poor nutrition or low temperature. The pharbitis plants induced to flower by stress reached anthesis, fruited and produced fertile seeds. The progeny of the stressed plants developed normally. Grafting experiments indicated that a transmissible flowering stimulus is involved in poor nutrition stress-induced flowering. Aminooxyacetic acid (AOA), a phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (pal) inhibitor, inhibited the stress-induced flowering, and this inhibition was overcome by SA. Stress induced pal activity and SA biosynthesis. PnFT2, a pharbitis ortholog of the flowering gene FLOWERING LOcUS T of Arabidopsis thaliana, was expressed when the plants were induced to flower by stress. The overexpression of PnFT2 induced flowering, and PnFT2RNAi inhibited it. AOA inhibited PnFT2 expression induced by stress, and SA eliminated this inhibitory effect. SA enhanced PnFT2 expression under poor nutrition but not under non-stressful conditions. Therefore, stress may induce the production of SA and other unknown factor(s) that may work in combination to induce PnFT2 expression and flowering.
