Photodetection has attracted significant attention for information *** the implementation relies primarily on the photonic detectors,they are predominantly constrained by the intrinsic bandgap of active *** the other hand,photothermoelectric(PTE)detectors have garnered substantial research interest for their promising capabilities in broadband detection,owing to the self-driven photovoltages induced by the temperature *** get higher performances,it is crucial to localize light and heat energies for efficient ***,there is limited research on the energy conversion in PTE detectors at micro/nano *** this study,we have achieved a twoorder-of-magnitude enhancement in photovoltage responsivity in the self-rolled tubular tellurium(Te)photodetector with PTE *** illumination,the tubular device demonstrates a maximum photovoltage responsivity of 252.13 VW^(-1)and a large detectivity of 1.48×10^(11)*** disclose the mechanism of the PTE conversion in the tubular structure with the assistance of theoretical *** addition,the device exhibits excellent performances in wide-angle and polarization-dependent *** work presents an approach to remarkably improve the performance of photodetector by concentrating light and corresponding heat generated,and the proposed self-rolled devices thus hold remarkable promises for next-generation on-chip photodetection.

A study on ionic gated MoS2 phototransistors

Molybdenum disulfide(MoS2) holds great promise in the future applications of nanoelectronics and optoelectronic devices. Exploring those interesting physical properties of MoS2using a strong electric field provided by electrolyte-gel is a robust approach. Here, we fabricate an Mo S2 phototransistor gated by electrolyte-gel which is located on a fused silica substrate. Under the modulation of electrolyte-gel, the Schottky barrier between MoS2and source/drain electrodes can be widely regulated from 11 to 179 me V. The MoS2phototransistor exhibits excellent responsivity of 2.68 × 104A/W and detectivity of 9.6 × 1010 Jones under visible incident light at negative gate voltage modulation. We attribute the optoelectronic performance enhancement to the Schottky barrier modulation of electrolyte-gel gating. It makes the device suitable for applications in high-sensitive photodetectors.

The advent of low-dimensional materials with peculiar structure and superb band properties provides a new canonical form for the development of ***,the limited exploitation of basic properties makes it difficult for devices to stand ***,we demonstrate a hybrid heterostructure with ultrathin vanadium dioxide film and molybdenum ditelluride *** dioxide is a classical semiconductor with a narrow bandgap,a high temperature coefficient of resistance,and phase *** ditelluride,a typical two-dimensional material,is often used to construct optoelectronic *** heterostructure can realize three different functional modes:(i)the p-n junction exhibits ultrasensitive detection(450 nm-2μm)with a dark current down to 0.2 pA and a response time of 17μs,(ii)the Schottky junction works stably under extreme conditions such as a high temperature of 400 K,and(iii)the bolometer shows ultrabroad spectrum detection exceeding 10μ*** flexible switching between the three modes makes the heterostructure a potential candidate for next-generation photodetectors from visible to longwave infrared radiation(LWIR).This type of photodetector combines versatile detection modes,shedding light on the hybrid application of novel and traditional materials,and is a prototype of advanced optoelectronic devices.

Martensite is an important microstructure in ultrahigh-strength steels,and enhancing the strength of martensitic steels often involves the introduction of precipitated phases within the martensitic *** considerable research efforts devoted to this area,a systematic summary of these advancements is *** review focuses on the precipitates prevalent in ultrahigh-strength martensitic steel,primarily carbides(e.g.,MC,M_(2)C,and M_(3)C)and intermetallic compounds(e.g.,Ni Al,Ni_(3)X,and Fe_(2)Mo).The precipitation-strengthening effect of these precipitates on ultrahigh-strength martensitic steel is discussed from the aspects of heat treatment processes,microstructure of precipitate-strengthened martensite matrix,and mechanical ***,a perspective on the development of precipitation-strengthened martensitic steel is presented to contribute to the advancement of ultrahigh-strength martensitic *** review highlights significant findings,ongoing challenges,and opportunities in the development of ultrahigh-strength martensitic steel.

Superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant siloxane-modified MgAl-LDHs coatings on magnesium alloy prepared under mild conditions

We have developed a superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant LDH-W/PFDTMS composite coating on the surface of Mg *** composite comprised a tungstate-intercalated(LDH-W)underlayer that was grown at low temperature(relative to hydrothermal reaction conditions)under atmospheric pressure and an outer polysiloxane layer created from a solution containing perfluorodecyltrimethoxysilane(PFDTMS)using a simple immersion *** successful intercalation of tungstate into the LDH phase and the following formation of the polysiloxane layer were confirmed through X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The corrosion resistance of the LDH-W film,both before and after the PFDTMS modification,was evaluated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),Tafel curves,and immersion *** results showed that Mg coated with LDH-W/PFDTMS exhibited significantly enhanced corrosion protection compared to the unmodified LDHW film,with no apparent signs of corrosion after exposure to 3.5wt%NaCl solution for 15 ***,the LDH-W/PFDTMS coating demonstrated superior superhydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties against water and several common beverages,as confirmed by static contact angle and water-repellency *** results offer valuable insights into preparing superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant LDH-based composite coatings on Mg alloy surfaces under relatively mild reaction conditions.

Multi-layer multi-pass friction rolling additive manufacturing of Al alloy:Toward complex large-scale high-performance components

At present,the emerging solid-phase friction-based additive manufacturing technology,including friction rolling additive man-ufacturing(FRAM),can only manufacture simple single-pass *** this study,multi-layer multi-pass FRAM-deposited alumin-um alloy samples were successfully prepared using a non-shoulder tool *** material flow behavior and microstructure of the over-lapped zone between adjacent layers and passes during multi-layer multi-pass FRAM deposition were studied using the hybrid 6061 and 5052 aluminum *** results showed that a mechanical interlocking structure was formed between the adjacent layers and the adja-cent passes in the overlapped center *** friction and rolling of the tool head led to different degrees of lateral flow and plastic deformation of the materials in the overlapped zone,which made the recrystallization degree in the left and right edge zones of the over-lapped zone the highest,followed by the overlapped center zone and the non-overlapped *** tensile strength of the overlapped zone exceeded 90%of that of the single-pass deposition *** is proved that although there are uneven grooves on the surface of the over-lapping area during multi-layer and multi-pass deposition,they can be filled by the flow of materials during the deposition of the next lay-er,thus ensuring the dense microstructure and excellent mechanical properties of the overlapping *** multi-layer multi-pass FRAM deposition overcomes the limitation of deposition width and lays the foundation for the future deposition of large-scale high-performance components.

Nanostructured ZnO/BiVO_(4)I-scheme heterojunctions for piezocatalytic degradation of organic dyes via harvesting ultrasonic vibration energy

BiVO_(4)porous spheres modified by ZnO were designed and synthesized using a facile two-step *** resulting ZnO/BiVO_(4)composite catalysts have shown remarkable efficiency as piezoelectric catalysts for degrading Rhodamine B(RhB)unde mechanical vibrations,they exhibit superior activity compared to pure *** 40wt%ZnO/BiVO_(4)heterojunction composite displayed the highest activity,along with good stability and *** enhanced piezoelectric catalytic activity can be attributed to the form ation of an I-scheme heterojunction structure,which can effectively inhibit the electron-hole ***,hole(h+)and superoxide radical(·O_(2)^(-))are proved to be the primary active ***,ZnO/BiVO_(4)stands as an efficient and stable piezoelectric catalyst with broad potential application in the field of environmental water pollution treatment.

Plasmonic tandem heterojunctions enable high-efficiency charge transfer for broad spectrum photocatalytic hydrogen production

Rational engineering of semiconductor photocatalysts for efficient hydrogen production is of great significance but still challenging,primarily due to the limitations in charge transfer ***,a fascinating plasmonic tandem heterojunction with the hc-CdS/Mo2C@C heterostructure is aimfully prepared for effectively promoting the charge separation kinetics of the CdS photocatalyst via the synergistic strategy of phase junction,Schottky junction,and photothermal *** difference in atomic configuration between cubic-CdS （c-CdS） and hexagonal-CdS （h-CdS） leads to effective charge separation through a typical Ⅱ charge transfer mechanism,and plasmonic Schottky junction further extracts the electrons in the hc-CdS phase junction to realize gradient charge ***,the photothermal effect of Mo2C@C helps to expand the light absorption,accelerate charge transfer kinetics,and reduce the hydrogen evolution energy *** carbon layer provides a fast channel for charge transfer and protects the photocatalyst from *** a result,the optimized hc-CMC photocatalyst exhibits a significantly high photocatalytic H2production activity of 28.63 mmol/g/h and apparent quantum efficiency of 61.8%,surpassing most of the reported *** study provides a feasible strategy to enhance the charge transfer kinetics and photocatalytic activity of CdS by constructing plasmonic tandem heterogeneous junctions.

Ammonia pyrolysis oxidation excited by nanosecond pulsed discharge:Global/fluid models hybrid solution

The kinetic characteristics of plasma-assisted oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia are studied by using the global/fluid models hybrid solution ***,the stable products of plasma-assisted oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia are *** results show that the consumption of NH3/O2and the production of N2/H2change linearly with the increase of voltage,which indicates the decoupling of nonequilibrium molecular excitation and oxidative pyrolysis of ammonia at low ***,the detailed reaction kinetics mechanism of ammonia oxidative pyrolysis stimulated by a nanosecond pulse voltage at low pressure and room temperature is *** on the reaction path analysis,the simplified mechanism is *** detailed and simplified mechanism simulation results are compared with experimental data to verify the accuracy of the simplified ***,based on the simplified mechanism,the fluid model of ammonia oxidative pyrolysis stimulated by the nanosecond pulse plasma is established to study the pre-sheath/sheath behavior and the resultant consumption and formation of key *** results show that the generation,development,and propagation of the pre-sheath have a great influence on the formation and consumption of *** consumption of NH3by the cathode pre-sheath is greater than that by the anode pre-sheath,but the opposite is true for OH and O（1S）.However,within the sheath,almost all reactions do not ***,by changing the parameters of nanosecond pulse power supply voltage,it is found that the electron number density,electron current density,and applied peak voltages are not the direct reasons for the structural changes of the sheath and ***,the discharge interval has little effect on the sheath structure and gas mixture *** research results of this paper not only help to understand the kinetic promotion of non-equilibrium excitation in the process of oxidative pyrolysis but also help to explore th
