Recent years have witnessed a rapid growth in using Internet of things(Io T), which facilitates and simultaneously raises challenges for the intelligent logistics. The real-world devices can provide their functionality as Web services. Because of the dynamicity and heterogeneity of the target networking environment, the services offered by Io T resources cannot be composed by simply extending existing Service oriented architecture(SOA) approaches. Logistics, which consists of a complex network of organizations and business processes, must be monitored in real time. Based on the proper understanding of the possible exceptions, we propose a middleware approach to solve the logistics service composition in Io T, where a decentralized coordination mechanism is used to monitor the component services with few resources efficiently. Through a set of experiments, the effectiveness and robustness of our approach are evaluated.

This study focuses on finding a solution to the sharp decline in mechanical properties of Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloys due to rapid coarsening of traditional intermediate phases at high temperature.A new type of modified al oy,to be used in automobile engines at high temperatures,was prepared by adding Zr and Mo into Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloy.The synergistic effects of Zr and Mo on the microstructure evolution and high-temperature mechanical properties were studied.Results show that the addition of Zr and Mo generates a series of intermetallic phases dispersed in the alloy.They can improve the strength of the alloy by hindering dislocation movement and crack propagation.In addition,some nano-strengthened phases show coherent interfaces with the matrix and improve grain refinement.The addition of Mo greatly improves the heat resistance of the alloy.The extremely low diffusivity of Mo enables it to improve the thermal stability of the intermetallic phases,inhibit precipitation during aging,reduce the size of the precipitates,and improve the heat resistance of the alloy.

The extremely low electrical conductivity and ion-diffusion coefficient of li_(2)FeSiO_(4)limits its application as a cathode material in lithium-ion batteries.Therefore,in situ boron-doped li_(2)FeSi_(1)-xB_(x)O_(4-δ)/C(x=0,0.01,0.03,0.05 and 0.07)at the Si site was prepared via the solid-state reaction method using pitch as the c arbon source.B doping in the lattice structure and a c arbon coating on the surface of the composites could effectively enhance the li^(+)/electron conductivity.Moreover,the reduced particle size of the active material with the relatively high specific area via borondoped modification could improve the wettability between the electrolyte and cathode.With the synergistic effect of appropriate boron doping and carbon coating,it exhibits a good rate performance,specific capacity,and cycling performance.As a result,the as-prepared li_(2)FeSi_(0.95)B_(0.05)O_(4-δ)/C cathode showed a high discharge capacity of 160.7mAh·g^(-1)at 0.2C,and the capacity retention rate was 96%after 100 cycles at 1.0C.This work presents an effective path for designing advanced cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

Objective:This study aimed to describe,optimize and evaluate a method for preparing multivalent conjugate vaccines by simultaneous conjugation of two different bacterial capsular polysaccharides(CPs)with tetanus toxoid(TT)as bivalent conjugates.Methods:Different molecular weights(MWs)of polysaccharides,activating agents and capsular polysaccharide/protein(CP/Pro)ratio that may influence conjugation and immunogenicity were investigated and optimized to prepare the bivalent conjugate bulk.Using the described method and optimized parameters,a 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine and a bivalent meningococcal vaccine were developed and their effectiveness was compared to that of corresponding licensed vaccines in rabbit or mouse models.Results:The immunogenicity test revealed that polysaccharides with lower MWs were better for Pn1-TT-Pn3 and MenA-TT-MenC,while higher MWs were superior for Pn4-TT-Pn14,Pn6A-TT-Pn6B,Pn7F-TT-Pn23F and Pn8-TT-Pn11A.For activating polysaccharides,1-cyano-4-dimethylaminopyridinium tetrafluoroborate(CDAP)was superior to cyanogen bromide(CNBr),but for Pn1,Pn3 and MenC,N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N’-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride(EDAC)was the most suitable option.For Pn6A-TT-Pn6B and Pn8-TT-Pn11A,rabbits immunized with bivalent conjugates with lower CP/Pro ratios showed significantly stronger CP-specific antibody responses,while for Pn4-TT-Pn14,higher CP/Pro ratio was better.Instead of interfering with the respective immunological activity,our bivalent conjugates usually induced higher IgG titers than their monovalent counterparts.Conclusion:The result indicated that the described conjugation technique was feasible and efficacious to prepare glycoconjugate vaccines,laying a solid foundation for developing extended-valent multivalent or combined conjugate vaccines without potentially decreased immune function.

Background:Nowadays,the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)injury has been one of the most common diseases of the knee joint.The relationships between the ACL injury and the anatomical structures are still controversial.This study aimed to identify the anatomical risk factors of ACL injury by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)of the knee. Methods:This was a retrospective study of 125 patients undergoing primary ACL reconstruction between July 2013 and May 2017. Another 125 patients without any organic knee joint injury were served as controls.The shape of intercondylar notch,the intercondylar notch width index,the intercondylar notch height index,the a angle,the β angle,and the medial and lateral tibial plateau slope were measured with MRI and compared.The data were compared by binary logistic regression to find the risk factors. Results:The two groups differed in the proportion of male patients (70.4% vs.52.0%,x^2 =8.911,P =0.003),but gender was excluded as a risk factor for ACL injury with regression analysis (odds ratio =1.476,95%confidence interval [CI]:0.689-3.160,P =0.317). The injured group was found to have a smaller notch width index (95%CI =7.960E-23-2.154E-9,P 7.5°), and larger β angle ( >38.5°)might be the factors associated with ACL injury.

Recent years have witnessed a rapid growth in using Web services for data publishing and sharing among organizations.To improve the efficiency of software development and economize on human and material resources,service reuse is viewed as a powerful means which will not only reuse atomic services,but also reuse arbitrary granularities of Service process fragments(SPFs).However,effectively reusing arbitrary granularities of SPFs has not been solved yet,let alone taking diverse Qo S preferences of service providers and users into account.In this paper,we propose a novel method of SPF reuse,named SCKY,based on the Cocke-Kasami-Younger(CKY) algorithm.We first present an extended CKY to do SPF-query.Then we address how to do SPF-query by a probability CKY,i.e.,return a SPF with maximum emergence probability.Finally,we explore the SPF-query with a consensus of Qo S preferences between service providers and users.Through a set of experiments,the effectiveness and robustness of our approach are evaluated.

Background:The discovery of regulatory cell death has led to a breakthrough in the therapeutic field.Various forms of cell death,such as necrosis,apoptosis,pyroptosis,autophagy,and ferroptosis,play an important role in the development of liver diseases.In general,more than one form of cell death pathways is responsible for the disease state.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the regulation and interaction of various cell death forms in liver diseases.Data sources:We performed a PubMed search up to November 2022 with the following keywords:ferritinophagy,ferroptosis,and liver disease.We also used terms such as signal path,inducer,and inhibitor to supplement the query results.Results:This review summarized the basic characteristics of ferritinophagy and ferroptosis and the regulation of ferroptosis by ferritinophagy and reviewed the key targets and treatment strategies of ferroptosis in different liver diseases.Conclusions:Ferritinophagy is a potential therapeutic target in ferroptosis-related liver diseases.

Reduction of Tat-interacting Protein 30 Expression Could be a Prognostic Marker in Bladder Urothelial Cancer

Background： Tat-interacting protein 30 （TIP30） has been reported to be a tumor suppressor, with reduced or absent expression in various tumors. However, its role in bladder urothelial cancer （BUC） has not been investigated. Therefore, herein, we investigated the expression of T1P30 protein in BUC and normal bladder mucosa and the clinical significance of TIP30 expression in the prognosis of BUC. Methods： We reviewed data from 79 cases of BUC and 15 adjacent tissue samples from 79 patients treated at our institution between 2004 and 2007. TIP30 expression was examined by immunohistochemistry. The relationship between TIP30 expression and tumor stage, histological grade, and survival was analyzed. Differences between groups were evaluated using the t-test or matched-pairs test, and differences in the survival rates were analyzed with the log-rank test. Results： TIP30 protein expression was significantly reduced in BUC tissue （t = -6.91, P 〈 0.05） compared with normal tissue samples, and in invasive bladder cancer （t = 10.89, P 〈 0.05） compared with superficial bladder cancer. TIP30 protein expression differed significantly among different differentiated groups classified either according to the World Health Organization （2004, F = 17.48, P 〈 0.01） or World Health Organization （1973, F = 10.68, P 〈 0.01）. TIP30 protein expression was significantly reduced in high-grade papillary urothelial carcinoma compared with papillary urothelial neoplasm of low malignant potential （P 〈 0.05） and low-grade papillary urothelial carcinoma （P 〈 0.05）. Meanwhile, TIP30 protein expression was significantly reduced in Grade 111 BUC, compared with Grade I （P 〈 0.05） and Grade 11 （P 〈 0.05）. Patients with low T1P30 expression showed a higher incidence of disease progression than those with high TIP30 expression （t - 2.63, P 〈 0.05）. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed a strong positive relationship between TIP30 expression and overall survival （OS）（x^2 = 17.29, P 〈 0.05）. Antioxidant interactions between hydrophilic and lipophilic phytochemicals are influenced by their ratios and total concentrations

lipophilic(lycopene,β-carotene)and hydrophilic(caffeic acid,p-coumaric acid)phytochemicals were mixed in molar mass at different concentrations/ratios to explore the antioxidant interactions on H_(2)O_(2)-treated H9c2 cells.Reactive oxide species(ROS),expression of antioxidant enzymes,and oxidation products were analyzed and evaluated by synergistic rate(SR)and combination index(CI).At constant concentrations,antioxidant interactions were influenced by ratios.Group contained more hydrophilic compounds(eg.,p-coumaric acid:β-carotene=9:1)showed antioxidant synergism(SR=22.33±1.23,SR>0)at 3.0μM,while groups that contained more lipophilic compounds(eg.,p-coumaric acid:β-carotene=1:9)showed antioxidant antagonism(SR=-11.68±1.25,SR0)to antagonism(SR=-11.68±1.25,SRlic and lipophilic phytochemicals.It also suggested that proper concentrations/ratios of hydrophilic and lipophilic phytochemicals should be considered in diet and formulation of functional foods.
