Assessing sediment connectivity and its spatial response on land use using two flow direction algorithms in the catchment on the Chinese Loess Plateau

Severe soil and water loss have led to widespread land degradation on the Loess Plateau in *** the relationship between land use and sediment connectivity can be beneficial to control soil *** this study,three catchments in the yanhe River Basin on the Loess Plateau were selected to analyse the relationship between land use and sediment connectivity using grey correlation *** of connectivity(IC)was employed to quantify sediment connectivity,including two flow direction algorithms(D8 and D-infinity)and two final targets of sediment transport(outlet and main channel of catchment).Then,11 landscape metrics were used to evaluate the land use spatial patterns of *** comparing the IC value ranges,histograms and classes,and their relationship with remote sensing images of the two flow direction algorithms,we find that the D8 algorithm is more suitable for this study *** results showed that the three catchments are characterized by high sediment connectivity in the grassland and forest close to the *** addition,the roads and bare land close to the channel also have high or medium sediment *** correlation analysis showed that landscape division index(DIVISION),fractal dimension index(FRACMN),aggregation index(AI),total class area,patch cohesion index(COHESION),and largest patch index(LPI)indices were the main factors that affect sediment connectivity at the class *** the landscape scale,the landscape shape index(LSI),Shannon’s diversity index(SHDI),and gully density have an essential effect on sediment *** condition provides a way to control the sediment connectivity in the watershed by transforming land use type or changing its spatial pattern,but specific adjustment measures have to be further explored.

Strategic integration of 2D perovskite and chiral quantum dot hybrid heterostructures for superior CPL detection

Circularly polarized light（CPL） detection has garnered significant research interest due to its extensive applications in optoelectronics and quantum *** perovskites possess CPL detection capabilities due to their inherent ***,incorporating organic amine spacers distorts the crystal lattice,resulting in defects that reduce the sensitivity of CPL *** study introduces the concept of chiral superposition for the first time,reporting two mixed heterostructures composed of two-dimensional（2D） chiral perovskite（R/S-MBA）2MAPb2I7（R/S）,chiral quantum dots（R/S-MBA）-CsPbBr3（R/SQD）,and chiral carbon dots（Ch-CDs）.The addition of chiral quantum dots/Ch-CDs fills the defects of the chiral perovskite films and reduces the electron-hole recombination rate in chiral hybrid perovskites,thereby significantly enhancing the circularly polarized sensitivity of the CPL *** adjusting the concentration of chiral quantum dots,controllability of spin electron transfer is achieved,which has a notable impact on circular dichroism（CD） and anisotropy factor *** anisotropy factor glhpof the mixed heterostructure R/S-R/SQD is approximately 21.58 times higher than that of single-phase chiral perovskites,and the asymmetry factor gCDincreases ***,this work opens up a new effective pathway for achieving high-sensitivity CPL detection,with promising applications in optoelectronic technologies such as spin information communication and quantum optics.

Multi-component assembly of luminescent rare earth hybrid materials

This review focuses on the recent research progress in the multi-component assembly of luminescent rare earth hybrid materials, which is based on the luminescent rare earth compounds and two or more other building units, including the other photoactive species. It covers the multi-component luminescent rare earth hybrids which was assembled with different(a) organic-inorganic polymeric units,(b)nanoporous units,(c) nanoparticle composites or(d) other developing special units. Finally, future challenges and opportunities in this field are discussed. Herein it mainly focuses on the work of yan's group in recent years.

Dynamic Adsorption of Toluene on Hierarchical Porous Carbons with Varying Pore Structure

Coastal management in China is confronted with an urgent choice between natural restoration and maintenance of existing seawalls and reclaimed land for economic development.A key criterion for making this decision is the resilience to coastal flooding,which depends on the ability to predict tidal *** duration asymmetry(TDA)is a key parameter in determination of the arrival and duration of flood *** study selected the western inner shelf of the Yellow Sea(WYS)as the study area and investigated the responses of TDA to different shoreline configurations and relative sea level *** responses of TDA to shoreline reconstruction yielded spatial variability locally and *** the nearshore area,the responses of TDA to the complex ocean environment mainly originated from the combined functions of reflection,bottom friction,and advection,which controlled the energy transfer from M2 or S2 constituents to their overtides or compound *** sensitivity of TDA to coastline typologies was not limited to coastal waters but could stretch over the entire inner *** vulnerability of tidal responses was due to the displacement of the M2 amphidrome of the Kelvin wave on the WYS,which in turn changed tidal energy fluxes over the *** relative sea level rise could intensify the feedback of TDA to seawalls and land reclamation.

Maintenance is an important technical measure to maintain and restore the performance status of equipment and ensure the safety of the production process in industrial production,and is an indispensable part of prediction and health ***,most of the existing remaining useful life(RUL)prediction methods assume that there is no maintenance or only perfect maintenance during the whole life cycle;thus,the predicted RUL value of the system is obviously lower than its actual operating *** complex environment of the system further increases the difficulty of maintenance,and its maintenance nodes and maintenance degree are limited by the construction period and working conditions,which increases the difficulty of RUL *** RUL prediction method for a multi-omponent system based on the Wiener process considering maintenance is *** performance degradation model of components is established by a dynamic Bayesian network as the initial model,which solves the uncertainty of insufficient data *** on the experience of experts,the degree of degradation is divided according to Poisson process simulation random failure,and different maintenance strategies are used to estimate a variety of condition maintenance *** example of a subsea tree system is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Formation control for networked multiagent systems with a minimum energy constraint

Minimum-energy formation achievement problems for networked multiagent systems are investigated,where information networks with leaderless and leader-follower structures are respectively addressed and information networks are randomly *** critical feature of this work is that the energy constraint is minimum in the sense of the linear matrix inequality,but limited-budget control and guaranteed-cost control cannot realize a minimum-energy ***,the leaderless minimum-energy formation control problem is converted into an asymp-totic stability one via a nonsingular transformation and state space decomposition,and based on linear matrix inequality techniques,sufficient conditions for analysis and design of leaderless minimum-energy formation achievement are proposed,respectively,which can be solved by the generalized eigenvalue ***,main results of minimum-energy formation achievement of leaderless networked multiagent systems are extended leader-follower networked multiagent systems,where the asymmetric property of the leader-follower information network is well dealt with by two nonsingular ***,two simulation examples are shown to verify the main results for minimum-energy formation achievements of leaderless and leader-follower networked multiagent systems,respectively.

Diffuse-type tenosynovial giant cell tumor(dTGCT) is a destructive but rare benign proliferative synovial neoplasm. Although surgery is currently the main treatment modality for dTGCT, the recurrence risk is up to 50%. Therefore, there is a great need for effective drugs against dTGCT with minor side effects. The Janus kinase(JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription(STAT) signaling plays a central role in rheumatoid arthritis(RA), a disease with similar characteristics as dTGCT, but its function in dTGCT remains *** fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS) and macrophages were isolated from 10 synovial tissue samples from dTGCT patients for the screening and validation of the five clinically approved JAK inhibitors to treat RA against dTGCT. Cell viability, cell death, inflammation and the activity of the JAK family members of cultured dTGCT FLS(both 2-D and 3-D) and macrophages were investigated for the efficacy of the JAK inhibitors. Here, we found that similar to RA, JAK/STAT signaling was markedly activated in the dTGCT synovium. Of the 5 JAK inhibitors, peficitinib was shown to have the most potency in addressing some of the pathological responses of dTGCT FLS and *** potency of peficitinib was much higher than pexidartinib, which is the only FDA-approved drug for dTGCT. Mechanistically, peficitinib inhibited tyrosine kinase 2(TYK2), a JAK family member necessary for the pathological progression of dTGCT FLS and macrophages. In summary, we not only revealed JAK/STAT(especially TYK2) signaling as the major mechanism underlying dTGCT, but also identified peficitinib as a promising drug against dTGCT.
