Annotating named entity recognition （NER） training corpora is a costly but necessary process for supervised NER approaches. This paper presents a general framework to generate large-scale NER training data from parallel corpora. In our method, we first employ a high performance NER system on one side of a bilingual corpus. Then, we project the named entity （NE） labels to the other side according to the word level alignments. Finally, we propose several strategies to select high-quality auto-labeled NER training data. We apply our approach to Chinese NER using an English-Chinese parallel corpus. Experimental results show that our approach can collect high-quality labeled data and can help improve Chinese NER.

The vortical property in a three dimensional cavity of micro-channel flow, which is very important, was investigated numerically. The results show that the rotation direction of vortex in the cavity depends on the dimension and shape of the cavity as well as the viscosity of the fluid. With the dimension and shape of the cavity fixed, there exists a critical inlet velocity. When the inlet velocity is less than the critical value, the rotation direction of vortex in the cavity will change. The critical velocity is directly proportional to the vis- cosity of the fluid, and inversely proportional to square of the thickness, length and depth of cavity. For the ratio of length and depth of cavity equals to one, there is a critical dimensionless parameter Recr , when Recr＇ is less than Recr＇ , the rotation direction of vortex will change too. Recr＇ is equal to 11.8 approximately.

A visco-elastoplastic damage constitutive model is proposed for simulating non-linear behavior of concrete. Based on traditional plastic theory, the irreversible deformation is simulated in effective stress space. In order to reflect different stiffness degradation mechanism of concrete under tensile and compressive loading conditions, both tensile and compressive damage variables are introduced, and then on the basis of energy release rate, the model is firmly derived within the concept of irreversible thermodynamics. The rate-dependent model is considered by introducing viscous regularization into the inelastic strain and damage variable, and combined with an additional elastic condition. fully implicit backward-Euler algorithm is used to perform constitutive integration. Results of numerical examples using the proposed model agree well with test results for specimens under uniaxial tension and compression, biaxial loading and triaxial loading. Failure processes of single-edge-notched （SEN） beam and double-edge-notched （DEN） specimen are also simulated to further validate the proposed model.

The effect of nitrogen content on primary recrystallization microstructure,texture and magnetic property of Hi-B steel was studied by means of optical microscopy（OM）,scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,and electron backscatter diffraction（EBSD）.When nitrogen content increased gradually from 0.005 5% to 0.031 0%,the primary grain size and variation coefficient of nitrided sheet reduced from 26.85μm,0.590 to 18.87μm,0.525-0.565,***,the primary recrystallization texture style of nitrided sheet was nearly identical to the texture style of decarburized sheet before nitriding treatment,but exhibiting a certain change on texture *** variation of average magnetic induction value（B8）and core loss value（P17/50）were manifested to be Mshaped and W-shaped curves,*** nitrogen content reached 0.016 0%,the best value of the average magnetic property of the final product was obtained as follows：the B8 and P17/50 were 1.921 Tand 0.968W/kg,***,the best performance,B8 and P17/50,of single sheet was 1.964 Tand 0.854 W/kg.

A multiple criteria decision analysis （MCDA） approach is designed for capturing the relative preference information of a decision maker involved in ＇a conflict. More specifically, an MCDA approach based on the outranking method, ELECTRE III, is employed for ranking states or possible scenarios in the conflict from most to least preferred, where ties are allowed, for a decision maker according to his or her value system. To demonstrate how this preference elicitation methodology can be conveniently implemented in practice within the framework of the Graph Model for Conflict Resolution, it is applied to a real world water supply crisis which occurred in the town of North Battleford, located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

Two tests initiated by unscrammed control rod withdrawal were performed on the High Temperature GasCooled Reactor-Test Module(HTR-10) in November 2003 after the reactor achieved its full power, and the test conditions represented a typical transient scenario of modular high-temperature reactors(HTRs), called pressurized loss of forced cooling, and anticipated transient without *** on the test parameters, the HTR-10 thermal behaviors under the test conditions were studied with the help of the system analysis code THERMIX. The combination of the test results and the investigation results makes the HTR-10 safety potential better understood. Key phenomena, such as the helium natural circulation and the temperature redistribution in the reactor, were revealed. As the safety feature of most significance, there is a large margin between the maximum fuel temperature and its safety limit in each test. Temperatures of thermocouples in different components were calculated by THERMIX and compared with the test values. The applicability of the code was verified by good agreement obtained from the comparison.

Thermoelectric effect of silicon films prepared by aluminum-induced crystallization

Aluminum-induced crystallized silicon films were prepared on glass substrates by magnetron sputtering. Aluminum was added in the silicon films intermittently by the regular pulse sputtering of an aluminum target. The amount of aluminum in the silicon films can be controlled by regulating the aluminum sputtering power and the sputtering time of the undoped silicon layer; thus, the Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity of the polyerystaUine silicon films can be adjusted. It is found that, when the sputtering power ratio of aluminum to silicon is 16%, both the Seebeck coefficient and the electrical resistivity decrease with the increasing amount of aluminum as expected; the Seebeck coefficient and the electrical resistivity at room temperature are 0.185-0.285 mV/K and 0.30-2.4 Ω.cm, respectively. By reducing the sputtering power ratio to 7%, however, the Seebeck coefficient does not change much, though the electrical resistivity still decreases with the amount of aluminum increasing; the Seebeck coefficient and electrical resistivity at room temperature are 0.219-0.263 mV/K and 0.26-0.80 Ω·cm, respectively.

How to manufacture the high magnetic induction grain-oriented silicon steel（Hi-B steel）by the process featured with the primary recrystallization annealing was demonstrated,during which nitriding and decarburizing were simultaneously realized in *** the techniques of optical microscope,scanning electronic microscope and electron backscattered diffraction,both the microstructure and the texture in the samples were *** samples had been subjected to nitriding to different nitrogen contents at two specified temperatures using the two defined microstructural parameters：the grain size inhomogeneity factorσ＊and the texture factor *** former is the ratio of the mean value to standard deviation of grain sizes;the latter is the ratio of the total volume fraction of the harmful textures to that of beneficial textures including {110}〈001〉.When the N content increased from 0.0055%to 0.0330%after the annealing at both 835 and 875°C,the resultant recrystallized grain size decreased butσ＊changed little;whilst the rise of annealing temperature from 835 to 875°C resulted in the increase in both grain size andσ＊.Moreover,either the injected N content or temperature had insignificant influence on the components of primary recrystallization texture developed during ***,the increase of temperature led to the decreases in both intensity and volume fraction of{001}〈120〉and{110}〈001〉textures but increases in the{114}〈481〉andγfiber textures and the resultant decrease of AR.
