Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is widely applied for the treatment of hepatocellular *** TACE is often required in clinical practice because a satisfactory tumor response may not be achieved with a single ***,repeated TACE procedures can impair liver function and increase treatment-related adverse events,all of which prompted the introduction of the concept of“TACE failure/refractoriness”.Mainly based on evidence from two retrospective studies conducted in Japan,sorafenib is recommended as the first choice for subsequent treatment after TACE failure/*** studies have investigated the outcomes of other subsequent treatments,including locoregional,other molecular targeted,anti-programmed death-1/anti-programed death ligand-1 therapies,and combination therapies after TACE failure/*** this review,we summarize the up-to-date information about the outcomes of several subsequent treatment modalities after TACE failure/refractoriness.

Based on the attributes of nonflammability,environmental benignity,and cost-effectiveness of aqueous electrolytes,as well as the favorable compatibility of zinc metal with them,aqueous zinc ions batteries(AZIBs)become the leading energy storage candidate to meet the requirements of safety and low ***,aqueous electrolytes,acting as a double-edged sword,also play a negative role by directly or indirectly causing various parasitic reactions at the zinc anode *** reactions include hydrogen evolution reaction,passivation,and dendrites,resulting in poor Coulombic efficiency and short lifespan of AZIBs.A comprehensive review of aqueous electrolytes chemistry,zinc chemistry,mechanism and chemistry of parasitic reactions,and their relationship is ***,the understanding of strategies for suppressing parasitic reactions from an electrochemical perspective is not profound *** this review,firstly,the chemistry of electrolytes,zinc anodes,and parasitic reactions and their relationship in AZIBs are deeply ***,the strategies for suppressing parasitic reactions from the perspective of enhancing the inherent thermodynamic stability of electrolytes and anodes,and lowering the dynamics of parasitic reactions at Zn/electrolyte interfaces are ***,the perspectives on the future development direction of aqueous electrolytes,zinc anodes,and Zn/electrolyte interfaces are presented.

Multi-session transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)is usually needed for the treatment of intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),but it may not always have a positive influence on prognosis due to high heterogeneity of *** avoid ineffective repeated TACE,the concept of TACE failure/refractoriness has been proposed by several organizations and is being addressed using tyrosine kinase *** concept of TACE failure/refractoriness is controversial due to ambiguous definitions and low evidence-based *** date,only a few studies have examined the rationality concerning the definition of TACE failure/refractoriness,although the concept has been introduced and applied in many TACE-related clinical *** review focuses on some of the issues related to different versions of TACE failure/refractoriness,the rationality of related definitions,and the feasibility of continuing TACE after so-called failure/refractoriness based on published evidence.A suggestion to re-define TAEC failure/refractoriness is also put forward.

Cobalt selenide(CoSe_(2))has garnered considerable attention as a prospective anode candidate for advanced lithium-ion storage,prompting comprehensive ***,CoSe_(2)-based anodes usually suffer from significant volume variation upon lithiation leading to unsatisfactory cycling ***,a versatile synthesis route is proposed for the in-situ fabrication of CoSe2nanoparticles embedded in N-dope carbon skeleton(CoSe_(2)@NC)through annealing treatment and selenization of a metal–organic framework-derived(MOF)*** N-doped carbon derived from the MOF serves not only as an excellent conductive substrate but also as a confined reactor,effectively inhibiting the structural instability and alleviating the inevitable volume change of CoSe_(2).Owing to their unique nanostructure,the as-prepared CoSe_(2)@NC exhibits a high capacity of 745.9mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1),while maintaining excellent rate capability and an impressive ***,the assembled lithium-ion capacitor(LIC)based on CoSe_(2)@NC demonstrates an energy density of 130Wh·kg^(-1),a power density of 24.6 kW·kg^(-1),and remarkable capacity retention of 90.8%after 8000 *** results highlight the great potential of CoSe_(2)@NC for practical applications.

Janus metasurface holography with asymmetric transmission characteristics provides new degrees of freedom for multiplexing ***,earlier metasurfaces with asymmetrical transmission faced limitations in terms of tunability and *** this study,we propose a metasurface color holographic encryption scheme with dynamic switching and asymmetric transmission at visible frequencies using a low-loss nonvolatile optical phase-change material,Sb_(2)S_(3).Using a modified holographic optimization strategy,we achieved highfidelity asymmetric holographic imaging of a nanostructured *** controlling the incident direction and wavelength of visible light,as well as the level of crystallization of Sb_(2)S_(3),this reconfigurable metasurface enables the precise manipulation of tunable color holographic image *** particular,in the semi-crystalline state of Sb_(2)S_(3),the encoded information can be securely encrypted using a two-channel color-holographic image,whereas only a preset camouflaged image is displayed in the crystalline or amorphous state of Sb_(2)S_(3).The proposed multiencrypted Janus metasurface provides a potential approach for dynamic holographic displays with ultrahigh capacity,holographic encryption,and information storage.

Background and Aims:To validate prognostic performance of the China liver cancer(CNLC)staging system as well as to compare these parameters with those of the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer(BCLC)staging system for Chinese hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)treated with transarterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods:This multicenter retrospective study included 1,124 patients with HCC between January 2012 and December 2020 from six Chinese *** on overall survival(OS),the prognostic performance outcomes for the CNLC and BCLC staging systems were compared by model discrimination[C statistic and Akaike information criterion(AIC)],monotonicity of the gradient(linear trend chi-square test),homogeneity(likelihood ratio chisquare test),and calibration(calibration plots).A prospective cohort of 44 patients receiving TACE-based therapy included between January 2021 and December 2022 was used to prospectively validate the ***:Median OS was 19.1(18.2–20.0)months,with significant differences in OS between stages defined by the CNLC and BCLC observed(pbining model discrimination,gradient monotonicity,homogeneity,and calibration,the CNLC performed better than the BCLC for Chinese HCC patients receiving TACE.

With the large-scale service of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),their failures have attracted significant *** the decay of active materials is the primary cause for LIB failures,the degradation of auxiliary materials,such as current collector corrosion,should not be ***,it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive review in this *** this review,from the perspectives of electrochemistry and materials,we systematically summarize the corrosion behavior of aluminum cathode current collector and propose corresponding ***,the corrosion type is clarified based on the properties of passivation layers in different organic electrolyte ***,a thoroughgoing analysis is presented to examine the impact of various factors on aluminum corrosion,including lithium salts,organic solvents,water impurities,and operating ***,strategies for electrolyte and protection layer employed to suppress corrosion are discussed in *** and most importantly,we provide insights and recommendations to prevent corrosion of current collectors,facilitate the development of advanced current collectors and the implementation of next-generation high-voltage stable LIBs.
