A mild and practical method for synthesizing fluorinated quinoline derivatives,which have a wide range of applications in pharmaceuticals,materials,and organic synthesis,was described through C—F bond insertion into indoles using CHBr_(2)F.The simple conditions,readily availability of CHBr_(2)F,as well as the versatility of the transformations make this strategy very powerful in synthesizing 3-fluoroquinoline and 3-fluoroquinolone.The mechanistic studies reveal that bromofluorocarbene generated in-situ under basic condition was the key intermediate.

In this paper,we propose an active reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)enabled hybrid relaying scheme for a multi-antenna wireless powered communication network(WPCN),where the active RIS is employed to assist both wireless energy transfer(WET)from the power station(PS)to energyconstrained users and wireless information transmission(WIT)from users to the receiving station(RS).For further performance enhancement,we propose to employ both transmit beamforming at the PS and receive beamforming at the RS.We formulate a sumrate maximization problem by jointly optimizing the RIS phase shifts and amplitude reflection coefficients for both the WET and the WIT,transmit and receive beamforming vectors,and network resource allocation.To solve this non-convex problem,we propose an efficient alternating optimization algorithm with the linear minimum mean squared error criterion,semidefinite relaxation(SDR)and successive convex approximation techniques.Specifically,the tightness of applying the SDR is proved.Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed scheme with 10 reflecting elements(REs)and 4 antennas can achieve 17.78%and 415.48%performance gains compared to the single-antenna scheme with 10 REs and passive RIS scheme with 100 REs,respectively.

This paper investigates a wireless powered and backscattering enabled sensor network based on the non-linear energy harvesting model, where the power beacon(PB) delivers energy signals to wireless sensors to enable their passive backscattering and active transmission to the access point(AP). We propose an efficient time scheduling scheme for network performance enhancement, based on which each sensor can always harvest energy from the PB over the entire block except its time slots allocated for passive and active information delivery. Considering the PB and wireless sensors are from two selfish service providers, we use the Stackelberg game to model the energy interaction among them. To address the non-convexity of the leader-level problem, we propose to decompose the original problem into two subproblems and solve them iteratively in an alternating manner. Specifically, the successive convex approximation, semi-definite relaxation(SDR) and variable substitution techniques are applied to find a nearoptimal solution. To evaluate the performance loss caused by the interaction between two providers, we further investigate the social welfare maximization problem. Numerical results demonstrate that compared to the benchmark schemes, the proposed scheme can achieve up to 35.4% and 38.7% utility gain for the leader and the follower, respectively.

Halide perovskites with excellent piezoelectric properties,but their poor stability hinders their largescale application.Herein,a sandwich-structured halide perovskite flexible sensor with good stability was developed according to a three-step procedure as follows:(ⅰ) in-situ growth of wool keratinCsPbBr_(3)(WK-CsPbBr_(3)) using wool keratin in interfacial passivation and coating,(ⅱ) electrospinning of a wool keratin-CsPbBr_(3)/polyacrylonitrile(WCP) nanofiber film,and(ⅲ) coating of the WCP nanofiber with polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) to obtain a sensor(WCPP).The sensor could generate a piezoelectric voltage of 7.8 V at a pressure of 6 kPa in the stages of pressing and releasing,and the output characteristics did not decline even after 10,000 cycles.Compared to the 4-month stability of the perovskite sensor,WCPP sensor exhibited the output performance even after 16 months,which indicated that wool keratin as a multidentate improved the stability of the halide perovskite.Additionally,the sensor displayed a self-cleaning property and could also light up 14 commercial LEDs.The close-loop recycling of the lead halide perovskite was achieved by dissolving the WCP nanofiber film in DMF and then reelectrospinning.Therefore,the method proposed is a step forward for achieving the commercialization of WK-CsPbBr_(3) and providing new avenues for further utilization of wool waste.

BACKGROUND Peroral endoscopic myotomy(POEM)has been demonstrated to be safe and effective in the treatment of achalasia.Longer myotomy is the standard POEM procedure for achalasia but when compared with shorter myotomy,its effectiveness is not as well known.AIM To compare the clinical effectiveness of longer and shorter myotomy.METHODS PubMed,EmBase,Cochrane Library,web of science and clinicaltrials.gov were queried for studies comparing shorter and longer POEM for achalasia treatment.The primary outcome was clinical success rate.Secondary outcomes comprised of operative time,adverse events(AEs)rate,gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)and procedure-related parameters.The Mantel-Haenszel fixed-effects model was primarily used for the analysis.Publication bias was assessed.RESULTS Six studies were included in this analysis with a total of 514 participants.During the follow-up period of 1-28.7 mo,longer and shorter myotomy in treating achalasia showed similar excellent effectiveness[overall clinical success(OR=1,95%CI:0.46-2.17,P=1,I2:0%;subgroup of abstract(OR=1.19,95%CI:0.38 to 3.73;P=0.76;I2:0%);subgroup of full text(OR=0.8695%CI:0.30 to 2.49;P=0.78;I2:0%)].Shorter myotomy had significantly reduced mean operative time compared with the longer procedure.There were no statistically significant differences in AEs rates,including GERD(overall OR=1.21,95%CI:0.76-1.91;P=0.42;I2:9%;subgroup of abstract OR=0.77,95%CI:0.40-1.47;P=0.43;I2:0%;subgroup of full text OR=1.91,95%CI:0.98-3.75;P=0.06;I2:0%),hospital stay(overall MD=-0.07,95%CI:-0.30 to 0.16;P=0.55;I2:24%;subgroup of abstract MD=0.20,95%CI:-0.25 to 0.65;P=0.39;I2:0;subgroup of full text MD=-0.16,95%CI:-0.42 to 0.10;P=0.23;I2:42%),and major bleeding(overall OR=1.25,95%CI:0.58-2.71;P=0.56;I2:0%)between the two procedures.These differences remained statistically non-significant in all sensitivity analyses.CONCLUSION POEM was effective in treating achalasia.Shorter and longer myotomy procedures provided similar therapeutic effects in terms of long-term effectiveness.

Background:Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection is an infectious disease with a prevalence rate of up to 50%worldwide.It can cause indigestion,gastritis,peptic ulcer,and gastric cancer.H.pylori eradication treatment can effectively control disease progression and reduce the risk of the above conditions.However,the escalating trend of antibiotic resistance presents a global challenge for H.pylori eradication.We aim to provide guidance on pharmacological treatment of H.pylori infection.Methods:This clinical practice guideline is developed following the World Health Organization’s recommended process,adopting Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development and Evaluation in assessing evidence quality,and utilizing Evidence to Decision framework to formulate clinical recommendations,minimizing bias and increasing transparency of the clinical practice guideline development process.We used the Reporting Items for practice Guidelines in HealThcare(RIGHT)statement and The Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation Ⅱ(AGREE Ⅱ)as reporting and conduct guides to ensure the guideline’s completeness and transparency.Results:Though decreasing in developed countries,the prevalence of H.pylori remains high in developing countries,causing a major public health burden.This clinical practice guideline contains 12 recommendations concerning pharmacological treatment for H.pylori eradication.Among them,it is worth highlighting that bismuth preparations are inexpensive,safe,and effective,consequently making bismuth quadruple therapy a preferred choice for initial and rescue treatment.In empirical treatment,high-dose dual therapy is equally effective compared with bismuth quadruple therapy.Conclusions:The 12 recommendations in this clinical practice guideline are formed with consideration for stakeholders’values and preferences,resource use,feasibility,and acceptability.Recommendations are generalizable to resource limited settings with similar antibiotic resistance pattern as China,and lower middle-income countries facing

Although widely thought to be aggressive, solitary,and potentially cannibalistic, some spider species have evolved group-living behaviors. The distinct transition provides the framework to uncover groupliving evolution. Here, we conducted a comparative transcriptomic study and examined patterns of molecular evolution in two independently evolved group-living spiders and twelve solitary species. We report that positively selected genes among groupliving spider lineages are significantly enriched in nutrient metabolism and autophagy pathways. We also show that nutrient-related genes of group-living spiders convergently experience amino acid substitutions and accelerated relative evolutionary rates. These results indicate adaptive convergence of nutrient metabolism that may ensure energy supply in group-living spiders. The decelerated evolutionary rate of autophagy-related genes in group-living lineages is consistent with an increased constraint on energy homeostasis as would be required in a group-living environment. Together, the results show that energy metabolic pathways play an important role in the transition to group-living in spiders.

An Improved Algorithm for Optimizing MapReduce Based on Locality and Overlapping

MapReduce is currently the most popular programming model for big data processing, and Hadoop is a weU-known MapReduce implementation platform. However, Hadoop jobs suffer from imbalanced workloads during the reduce phase and inefficiently utilize the available computing and network resources. In some cases, these problems lead to serious performance degradation in MapReduce jobs. To resolve these problems, in this paper, we propose two algorithms, the Locality-Based Balanced Schedule （LBBS） and Overlapping-Based Resource Utilization （OBRU）, that optimize the Locality-Enhanced Load Balance （LELB） and the Map, Local reduce, Shuffle, and final Reduce （MLSR） phases. The LBBS collects partition information from input data during the map phase and generates balanced schedule plans for the reduce phase. OBRU is responsible for using computing and network resources efficiently by overlapping the local reduce, shuffle, and final reduce phases. Experimental results show that the LBBS and OBRU algorithms yield significant improvements in load balancing. When LBBS and OBRU are applied, job performance increases by 15% from that of models using LELB and MLSR.
