Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and exhibit unique development trajectories and molecular features. Our exploration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have experienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have expanded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

Controlled growth of Au/Ni bimetallic nanocrystals with different nanostructures

Bimetallic nanomaterials are of great signifi- cance to both fundamental research and industrial appli- cations. Their physicochemical performances are critically dependent on their architectures and electronic structures. Here, it was reported a controlled synthesis of Au/Ni bimetallic nanocrystals with different nanostructures, i.e., dumbbell, core@shell and alloyed nanostructures in a one- pot synthesis procedure. Detailed structural characteriza- tions were conducted with the combination of transmission electron microscopy （TEM） and X-ray diffraction （XRD）. Even there is a large lattice mismatch between Au and Ni, Au@Ni core@shell nanocrystals are obtained with the seeded growth method. The growth mechanism was deeply investigated. Triphenylphosphine is demonstrated to be an effective capping agent to modify the interfacial energy to form core@shell nanocrystals, and the higher temperature is proved to be a key role in obtaining alloyed nanocrystals.

CAD-DIRECTED INSPECTION PLANNING FOR FREEFORM SURFACE USING CONTACT PROBES

A methodology for CAD-directed measurement of freeform surface using a coordinate measuring machine equipped with a touch-trigger probe is presented, mainly including adaptive sampling of measurement points and registration of freeform surface. The proposed sampling method follows four steps： Freeform surface is fitted by bi-cubic B-spline; Curvedness measure of the surface is computed; Given a number of sampling points, an iterative algorithm is constructed for selecting a set of measurement points by employing the curvedness information; The measurement points is regularized for tradeoff between maximizing the measurement accuracy and minimizing the sampling time and cost. The aforesaid algorithm is demonstrated in term of a marine propeller blade. An offset surface registration method is presented to improve alignment accuracy of freeform objects, and Monte Carlo simulation is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the method.

Generalized Dirichlet Normal Ordering in Open Bosonic Strings

Generally, open string boundary conditions play a nontrivial role in string theory. For example, in the presence of an antisymmetric tensor background field, they will lead the spacetime coordinates noncommutative. In this paper, we mainly discuss how to build up a generalized Dirichlet normal ordered product of open bosonic string embedding operators that satisfies both the equations of motion and the generalized Dirichlet boundary conditions at the quantum level in the presence of an antisymmetric background field, as the generalized Neumann case has already been discussed in the literature. Further, we also give a brief check of the consistency of the theory under the newly introduced normal ordering.

Optimal Formation Reconfiguration Control of Multiple UCAVs Using Improved Particle Swarm Optimization

Optimal formation reconfiguration control of multiple Uninhabited Combat Air Vehicles （UCAVs） is a complicated global optimum problem. Particle Swarm Optimization （PSO） is a population based stochastic optimization technique inspired by social behaviour of bird flocking or fish schooling. PSO can achieve better results in a faster, cheaper way compared with other bio-inspired computational methods, and there are few parameters to adjust in PSO. In this paper, we propose an improved PSO model for solving the optimal formation reconfiguration control problem for multiple UCAVs. Firstly, the Control Parameterization and Time Diseretization （CPTD） method is designed in detail. Then, the mutation strategy and a special mutation-escape operator are adopted in the improved PSO model to make particles explore the search space more efficiently. The proposed strategy can produce a large speed value dynamically according to the variation of the speed, which makes the algorithm explore the local and global minima thoroughly at the same time. Series experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method in solving the optimal formation reconfiguration control problem for multiple UCAVs.

Multi-objective hydraulic optimization and analysis in a minipump

Minipump is widely used in microfluidics system, active cooling system, etc. But building a high efficiency minipump is still a challenging problem. In this paper, a systematic method was developed to design, characterize and optimize a particular mechanical minipump. The optimization work was conducted to cope with the conflict between pressure head and hydraulic efficiency by an improved back-propagation neural network （BPNN） with the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II （NSGA-II）. The improved BPNN was utilized to predicate hydraulic performance and, moreover, was modified to improve the prediction accuracy. The NSGA-II was processed for minipump multi-objective optimization which is dominated by four impeller dimensions. During hydraulic optimization, the processing feasibility was also taken into consideration. Experiments were conducted to validate the above optimization methods. It was proved that the optimized minipump was improved by about 24 % in pressure head and 4.75 % in hydraulic efficiency compared to the original designed prototype. Meanwhile, the sensitivity test was used to analyze the influence of the four impeller dimensions. It was found that the blade outlet angle β2 and the impeller inlet diameter Do significantly influence the pressure head H and the hydraulic efficiency η, respec- tively. Detailed internal flow fields showed that the optimum model can relieve the impeller wake and improve both the pressure distribution and flow orientation.

GLOBAL STABILIZATION OF LINEAR SYSTEMS WITH BOUNDED CONTROLS USING STATE-DEPENDENT SATURATION FUNCTIONS

By using the so-called SP-stable polynomials, this paper reconsiders the problem of global stabilization of linear systems with input saturation. Firstly, a new nonlinear feedback law consisting of parallel connections of saturation functions by means of the so-called state-dependent saturation function is proposed for global stabilization of chains of integrators system. The state-dependent saturation function allows increasing the control energy when some of the states are badly scaled and can improve significantly the transient performances of the closed-loop system. Secondly, this type of global stabilization nonlinear feedback laws is extended to a class of linear systems that can be globally stabilized by bounded controls. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Adaptive control strategy of the welding current

The welding process essentially is a complicated nonlinear system with time-varying, uncertain, strong-coupling characteristics, so it is difficult to get high welding quality by traditional control approaches such as the standard proportionalintegral （ PI） algorithm. A new algorithm based on artificial neural network （ANN） is presented to achieve optimal P1 parameters and improve its adaptability. First, main parameters of artificial neural network are researched to improve the convergence rate and system stability. Then, six expert rules are proposed to constitute the expert adaptive ANN-PI algorithm. Experimental results show that the welding current control system＇has high dynamic response rate, and the welding process is stable.
